i dont wanna defend ign cuz i dont like em either. but how was the concord reviewer supposed to know that the game will shut down in 2 weeks? probably sony alongside the code gave them a roadmap or whatever telling them what will come next so why would they expect that the game shuts down. the reivewer played the game , said its a 7/10 as is and moved on, i dont think its the reviewers job to gauge if this game will survive or not, its the developers and publishers job to excite the audience

I take bigger issues with how things that was a big thing now is just a joke. It shows that the internal writing is going downhill. The sexual abuse subplot in season 1 vs season 4 is a clear example of this. Then comes the fact that they are very selectable with what type of characters get a good light/redemption vs being a one dimensional villain/joke. Why is the deep a bad guy and star light a hero? Before s4 the deep made her blow him and she blackmailed people and got them killed. S2 even shows that the deep didnt knoe about V. So his crime was being a stupid douche, while starlight is an intelligent murderer. Such things makes the show seem worse and worse, as it comes from the showrunners failing to tell the story peoperly.

The problem isn’t that this show is politically biased to the left, the problem is EVERY show these companies shit out are biased to the left. Not even conservative but this is just goofy as hell

Season 1 was very political

If you think the political messaging in season 4 is "forced" then you're fucking restarted and probably watched season 1-3 with the comprehension of a toddler.

As someone who is outside of USA. The politics feels like shoved filler that gets in the way of character driven stories. The show is very much left winged. And the writer is your classic liberal lacking all self awareness. They make fun of religous people for forgiving Firecracker for being a pedo and showing how women are let off easy. I wish they would social commentate on politics like the comics did, neutrally and without bias. That doesn’t mean apolitical, it just means non biased political commentary. It’s left-leaning when I wish it would be centrist, just as the tone around it calls for. You already have the extremism of both homelander and butcher, an extremist political agenda isn’t adding to the show, it’s taking from what was a very neutrally critical franchise.

It's very ignorant to say it's all of a sudden political when it has very clearly indicated that from the get go. Nothing has changed from season 1: the writing, the acting, its all the same. The only difference is that chuds have become self-aware of the satire in the show, and have now become incensed.
