Hi, I’ve just received the risers. You are talking about the service manual for the torque settings. But, doesn’t the torque change when the bolts are longer than the stock bolts? Furthermore, my manual states 40 nm (29.5 ft. Lbs). Can 1 of you help me finding the right torque? Thanks for the video btw!

@@Timo-b3l Which manual did you get the 40 Nm spec from? I have both the workshop service manual and the owners manual and neither of them have this part listed

Hi, Thank you for watching my videos. Since you are tall I guess this bike should suit you. It has 2 seat settings. You can adjust the seat height by adjusting the bracket under the seat. I guess there is an after market option to lower the foot pegs as well. It handles very well around the twisties. But remember this does not have the power which 1200GS or KTM has. But this has got plenty if you are coming from Versys 650. This bike handles very well

Hi… mine is a 2014… there are vibrations on the bike and I guess they are quite normal on these bikes. Nothing like a single cylinder thumpers or Harley’s… and I guess the bike was unchanged from 2014 till the end of manufacturing

I am 5.9ft… the madstad screen size was 20inched

@@rideswithrichie techspec tank grips and Rox antivibe risers along with the flat seat made it perfect ergonomics for me

@HappyTrails50 yes. Risers make a huge difference as well.. I have the ones from Yamaha MY10… they do help

Thanks for the answer. Unfortunately I found out that the older model 2010-2013 has too short light plastic cover so the LED with cooler does not fit. I know I can buy one from Ebay but it is quite expensive :(

Hi. They are all like that when they are stock. You have to get the ECU flashed sort out the fuelling. I did the ECU flash on the bike and changed the air filter to K&N and I found the bike to be much smoother… the sports mode very usable since

@LibraralTJ when you buy it from Hitchcocks it comes as a pair with everything you need to fit on the particular bike. But make sure that you are buying the once for Classsic Reborn. Every bike has a different kit

Hi Kevin. Not at all. I grab the part of the rack which mounts to the shock absorber bolts. Only only problem is that the hands might get dirty while grabbing if it’s raining…

Super Tenere 1200 any day. The motor of the Crosstourer is punchy… the bike is very top Heavy because of V4. Plus Super Tenere is bulletproof and easy maintenance

@@rideswithrichie I travel a lot, and I do not hide it from you. I travel across countries, which means that I travel long distances. Is the Yamaha Super Tenere 1200 suitable for long roads?

@MohamedQureshi yes it is. It depends now if you are travelling a lot of highway miles and back roads I would advice you go for the Super Tenere. It can do miles after miles happily. It’s a great all rounder. But remember that the bike is heavy. If you are doing a lot of off reading I would like to go for a Tenere 700.

@@rideswithrichie thank you very muchI am grateful to you, God willing. I am going with Super Tenere because I rarely enter off-road terrain. I did research and saw that it is almost suitable for off-road terrain.

Yes. It does transform the bike. If you have the OEM air filter I would advise you to change it to K&N. It makes a substantial difference in the power delivery
