That su-47 was not mine

I actually tried implementing it once but could not get it working. maybe on a second try there will be more success but let us not forget that su-47 has more than double the thrust of a hornet so you can take off just fine without it ;)

If I can figure out how to create EFM, then it is going to arrive one day.

I like my drag chute even though it might look not all authentic. but as far as I am aware there are no cockpit photos of su-47. the 3d pilot would be nice. you have a link ?

@@alexlp1238 well I use the su-35 cockpit from the su35 mod. although it is similar. if you want i could help with the cockpit. and where on what discord ?

I am slowly running out of things to implement and assuming that EFM would not be part of initial release... and unless I find something else to get stuck with I may be ready for release but, I will still want to create a proper trailer and a final video regarding the release and future...

That would be great 😃. When I try the su-57 the bay door does not open. Only after pressing the tailhook button. You have a newer version? Also I suppose since you are building your mod from su-33 you already had the argument for foldable wings as default? I am building mine of su-35 (with permission for release now:))

@@FortySeventhGear the edm arg is 8 but you have to put connectors an the wing pylons and name them correctly so if you write them in the main lua you know were to put only for that I needed like 2 days to figure it out because dcs aint telling you sh!t. And yea Cuban Ace hat released build 4.5 I think like 3 weeks ago and they always open if you press space or your custom trigger button also needed 2 days to figure out how he did it and how it works but ain't for dcs, Cuban gave me a direction and a short how it work answere.

@@alexlp1238 well since I have no arg 8 due to su-35 being su -35 that will take a bit of work to figure out right? But I will take a look at the new su-57 how did you modify the code? And where did you download?

Hey, Mine lacks a lot of functionality yet. I spent good 14 days working with the annoying bones and suspension and landing gear alone. I am probably hoping to one day switch the mod to the su-35 mod with EFM that the su-30 discord is working on since EFM is maybe the hardest thing to get done right and i do not know c++ . I am probably going to stick around with the su-35 for a while. Even if the weapons bay should not work. in the end if the door cannot automatically open after weapon release then i feel it is a bit pointless. I would suggest we could join forces on the su-47 development since developing two separate mods of the same jet may not be efficient. but it does depend on probably the way you look at su-47 wether you would like to focus on other mods etc. . @@FortySeventhGear I see.. Im not Sure if I will put much more effort into mine since you more into it and I'm lazy with modeling and textureing.. I will take the code for the automatic bay doors from the su-57 4.5 if it's released. But for first I'm done with it. I focus a bit more on the s-22 / su-27km cause I'm more into carrier operations. But I will think about joining forces😊 And thanks for the link to the book I will order it next week😁

​@@alexlp1238 well I hope that my su-47 mod hasnt done more harm than good here. none the less you can hit me up should there be an oppurtunity for cooperation or if I could be of any help in regards to troubleshooting with the huge amounts of questionmarks dcs modding brings. Although I am far from expert.

@@FortySeventhGear hey man how is the modding going? i did improved a lot on mine and see know the questionmarks on the damage model / collision model are you also there yet or do you know how it need to be set up in blender? all i know is that i need to make them shellnode for the collision model..

@@alexlp1238 yeah i am finally past that part it is terrible... after i was done .. then tried firing a missile and lets just say that then we were spinning and XD. because you need to cut a hole for the missile for it to fall out of the plane... you need segment nodes and shellnodes for the parts you want to be part of collision. Check your lods file how that is setup but best way it is to look how other mods have it done and just copy the name convention there... worked for me... kinda I still have an issue that when i start airborne during landing front of the gear sinks into ground a bit but not when i start from an airfield...
