Cool stuff
@@markmoffett6813 thanks, I agree! When I was young I never imagined I'd still being playing with toys and bikes and stuff in my 50s! But I never imagined I wouldn't either. 😉👍
Lovely pickup thats a weird bike
Yes it is and that's why I had to have it! Fortunately for me, it was a friend that had it and he gave my a pretty good deal. 😊
Shaping up nicely bro. Keep it up.
@@paullopinto2777 thank you! I appreciate it!
Keep the vids coming.
Nice bug. i just bought a '74 super beetle after 35 years since my last. Getting restored now. Can't wait to post pics. Thanks GBS Kerrville, TX
@@1Rooster338 that's awesome! My first bug was a white 65 with a sunroof, all original and ran great, that I got for 500 bucks! I 100% regret letting that go! But I'm hoping to add an early 60s bug ,maybe next year! 😎🤟
love this vw engines... the simplicity and durability is just out of this world. Keep buggin my friend. Be well always😊✌️
@@tiyukitv6508 Thank you, I appreciate it! Yes the old air cool V-dubs are pretty awesome! I have Luna, a Bus and a dune buggy I'll be doing a video on soon, plus something else in the works! So stay tuned! 👍🙂
Your channel so do what you please. Real ones will follow.
These cars are amazing, that is a great collection of bugs, VOCHO as in Mexico said the people when the VW Sedan was build in VW Factory in Puebla, Mexico, this incredible car ran in the streets as a bunch, a car with personality as no other I've saw ever. Incredible collection thank you for share with us dude, Awesome channel I am your follower 1 month ago.
@@hwarrior_ryder3624 thank you I really appreciate it! Yes VWs are really fun cool little cars! My fiance loves Luna and I think shes pretty much going to take her from me once I fix all the little things! Lol So I need to get another one, preferably and early to mid 60s! 👍 Stay tuned for my next video...I'll be getting my dune buggy going. Carly says that one is hers too. I may protest that! 😀
please try the jumer cable. then you can put a gound strap from the block to the chassis. see how it runs different every time you start it? cause the 2 endfs of the 'y' where the motor mounts , starting it twists the connerction and gets a grund but once you drive it a ways. tHE GROUND WILL GET BAD AND THE MOTOR WILL DIE.
@@junqtaylor5652 I will definitely check that out a get the ground right! 👍
your probably going to say. Oh it can't be that, whats wrong is the engin hs lost its ground. To prove this to yourself just put a jumper cablefrom the neg battery post to like the base of the distributor clamp. see if then it runs fine.
@@junqtaylor5652 I won't say anything like it can't be this or that. I appreciate any input and information! I agree that the ground could be causing problems for me and infact I think that is probably a big problem on my dune buggy as well! I'm definitely guilty of forgetting to make sure my ground is good! I'll be the first to admit I'm not a pro mechanic and everything I do is trial and error, emphasis on the error! Lol So I definitely appreciate any good tips or reminders like yours, thank you! I hope you enjoy my videos and I'll do another update on Luna soon but I'll be on the dune buggy next and the bus soon and I have a big project coming very soon so stay tuned! 👍😉
I'd also love to see a video on LED headlights conversion for a bug
Is it possible to put universal electric windows motor in a bug and if so, can you do a video on that
@@siphamandlagiftmbewu8081 thank you for you comments, I appreciate it! I don't know if there are electric window motors small enough to fit it the door of a bug. The doors are no more than about 2 inches thick. Honestly I never even thought about it, but you do have me curious. I will have to do some research. As far as the LED headlights, I'm sure that would be easy enough on a 12v bug. If you had a 1966 or older that had not been update from the original 6v system it might be a bigger challenge. I have some electrical issues, specifically with the lights to resolve yet, but once I do so I just may look into updating the lights on Luna. I think that would look really good on her. However, on my next bug I'm hoping to get an early 60s and I will be keeping it more original. 🙂👍
Just to follow up....you absolutely can get electric windows for your bug! Like I said, I hadn't even thought about it. Mainly because a bug is pretty narrow and I can reach the window crank on the passenger side pretty easily. But my fiance doesn't have the long monkey arms that I do! Lol So I might think about getting them for Luna, but it will have to wait until I get some other priorities worked out. I promise that if I do add electric windows, I will most definitely do a video on it. But I hope you will watch my other videos and enjoy them as well! 🙂
Nice AMC javelin!

One of these days I’d like to see one of my old vw’s pop up. More specifically the camper or the full custom bug that it traded for the camper. Glad you got Luna going with little effort and $$ spent.

More bikes ❤
More bikes. I love this channel. I love these old bikes and I caught the very end of the cool part of BMX before big box stores saturated the market with foreign made cheap parts. I never had anything cool, huffys and trash. My buddy had a diamondback that I coveted. I love the old mongoose stuff too. I ride street these days on the modern super light, fat wheel, bmxs. And I use an old legion remake painted pink with (unfortunately) remake mag wheels for my trail bike. Anyway
How many bikes you think he has?
I stopped counting when I got to 100! 🤣
Always learning new after watching his videos.
Cool video and sick swap meet, wish we had a fun community like you do in your town. I thought I was the only one who swap nicer looking parts out on my older stingrays.
Thank you! Yes there are a few bicycle groups area here. I'm into the old stuff like you see in this video, but also older bmx stuff. Also motorcycles mini bike cars trucks, you name it! I'm glad you liked this video and I hope enjoy the other ones! 😎
Looks like a fun show. I don’t believe that you are fully over your brother trading in that truck though, you mentioned it 3 times lol. Still a little bitter 😂
Hahahaha yeah I was definitely butt hurt! And both my brother and I come from a long line of grudge holders! But he knows my sence of humor too and knows I was just messing with him in the video! Lol
Nice video Jeff slow falling in love with old cars
Thanks Sergiy! Yes older vintage cars trucks bicycles and whatever else...boats tractors, anything mechanical! It's the best! I don't always know everything about all of it, but it's so much more interesting to me than anything modern where you can barely tell one car from another. And then when the do make something stand out as unit, it hideous! Like that ugly "mindcraft" Tesla truck. Lol
I like klunker bike... I'm from thailand...
Thank you! And welcome! Stay tuned...I will be doing a video on a Klunker build soon! I have a few frames to choose from. I may even build 2 or 3 in one video. I have a few other videos coming out first but maybe in late July or early August. But I do have some other good bicycle content, including my latest video. Check it out....😎
Nice stuff , I’m mostly into BMX right now but wanting to get into the older 20” Schwinn
Thanks man! I appreciate it. Check out my latest video, I do some bmx stuff. I intend on doing more, higher end bmx in the future aswell but I'll still have schwinn stuff too, 20" 24" and 26". It's a love/hate hobby. I love messing with all these bikes, but man it can be frustrating when everything is just a little different than the next! Like all the different nuts and bearings and seat posts and and and......😀
@@Areanorth40-vg21x I just converted a 26” Huffy cruise to 20” wheels . Had to raise the bottom bracket, chain just clears lower tube . Next I have to weld in a pipe for calliper brakes . And looking for motorcycle handle bars . Besides the cruiser bars it almost rides like a BMX . Is there any way I can send you pictures
Sounds very ambitious! I would like to see it for sure. However I'm not sure how to upload pictures in the comments.
I used to have a 66 26 inch schwinn beach cruiser modified into a lowrider 144 spoke RIMS twisted bent fork all chrome mud guards spare wheel mount pedals hit the ground scrapping and sparking it was all there crazy looking lights and audio system
Nice! Bikes are totally cool cuz you can do almost everything you can with a car as far as personalizing them, but way less money! 😀
DID YOU SAY SPACELINER?
Possibly! Lol I do have a couple.. I intend on keeping one but I'm going to start selling several bikes. I've gone a little too crazy with them and my back yard looks like a bicycle bone yard! Lol

Bummer about the Camaro. Looks expensive to fix honestly even doing the work yourself. Good luck.
Yes it will be if I try. My friend Darryl wants to go out and see it for himself in person. I'm not sure but I think he has some ideas. So we're gonna go out and have another look this Saturday. We shall see. Either way I'm going to make a definite decision on whether or not to keep it or move it on! My heart wants to keep it but my brain says "money pit!" Lol
VP Autoparts has floorpans and basically everything else you'd need for the Amazon, they ship from Sweden though so it may be expensive
Thank you for the tip! 👍
I'm in!!!!
Thanks for the video be safe
i really wish i had yard in uk land is expensive so i live in 4 story house im in process at minute of converting what was my living room into bike shop and bedroom into my living area and what was my workshop in attic to my bedroom im getting on a bit its hard carry bikes up 2 flights stairs to work on them so makes sense convert living room into workshop its not easy
As long as you're having fun and it fulfills something in you, its worth it! Good luck with your new workshop! 👍🙂
verry interesting i restore older bikes here in uk oldest i have is from 1972 anyway im subscribed after coming across your channel anything the age of the bikes you working on here in uk are ether rotted away or verry expensive im working on verry rare downhill mountain bike at moment only 200 ever made and you more likely to find rocking horse poop than spares its good have little engineering company close buy that will make me parts and or will let me use there machinery if machines not busy probably end up costing me more that its worth but it is verry different and rare and another thing you got vw bus i lived in vw bus in late 80s early 90s my son was made in back my bus lol anyway all the best from uk
Wow, thank you! I greatly appreciate it! I'm glad my channel is officially international! 😀 Yes we definitely have a lot of bikes to go around here. I have found some pretty nice gems, but I have yet to find a holy grail. In my bike videos so far I have been focusing on old Schwinns and similar type bikes, but I will be doing some content on bmx soon as well. I'm not so much into the shifter bikes like road bikes or mountain bikes, but I'm friends with a guy that has a wood working channel called Therapeutic Sawdust, which is obviously mostly wood working but he does do the occasional bike video and he likes road and mountain bikes. I love that your son was made in the back of a VW bus! 😀 I will definitely be working on mine very soon so stay tuned for that! 👍😎
@@Areanorth40-vg21x i started life as apprentice carpenter not my thing cant saw wood straight but give me pice metal i can only things i passed t school engineering and motor vehicle everything els not slightest bit interested in
Can you do my bike
Well I mostly just work on my own stuff, for a few reasons. 1. Depending on where you live, the practicality of getting a bike to me and back is likely not worth it unless you live in pierce county Washington. 2. I'm not a professional bike mechanic on any level! This is just my hobby. If you watched my first video, you'd see I have several bikes and motorcycles and cars. These are the kind of things I love tinkering with. But one of the things I said in my first video is that bikes are one of the first things kids start to work on mechanically and can definitely help lead to bigger more complex things like lawn mowers mini bikes motorcycles and then cars and trucks. Bikes are relatively simple and, for me anyway, fun to work on. I bet if you give it a try you could do it yourself! 🙂
@@Areanorth40-vg21x okay thank you god bless you do a nice job on your stuff
That was a lot of mud that came out of those bars.
Yeah that was a funny little surprise! I'm glad I poured it out where I did and not all over leg or feet! Lol I added the "bubble" sound effect and cracked myself up! 😆
Rad little mod. Will come in handy...
Why not say the name and location of the swap meet mabey it will be better attended and you could sell some stuff?
Good point, I should have said where it was at. However I didn't put that video out until a couple months after the swap meet. I think theyll be having another in February but I haven't gotten a notification specifically about it yet. But if you live anywhere near Tacoma Washington, it's not for from there. Just north of Gig Harbor in Burley.
