There is history to the song that is not a very happy history. There was a person called Charles Manson and he orchestrated a group of people to murder Sharon Tate who is eight months pregnant and other famous people. Charles Manson thought that the song was telling him, to kill people in the start of racial war. So, he went to prison for the rest of his life and helped her skelter made your Americans actually frightful of music for the first time. I can’t remember if two of the Beatles or representatives of the Beatles had to go to court for this song, in defence of it. Later on American had this notion that if you played the song backwards, it was of the devil. And not only this song but others as well. I have no words!

This song has always been copied and redone by other bands, usually metal bands or hard rock bands like Motley Crue for example. So if it wasn't the birth of metal, it was inspirational to many hard rock bands for the next 20 years.

Seeing reactions like this takes me right back to my first hearing of these songs. The music becomes revitalized.

There is rock, there is blues, there is jazz, there is fusion, there is rap, there is new age, there is big band - and there is That Beatles. They are their own genre of music. When people say to think outside the box The Beatles are the musical equivalent.
