I know it's an old video lol but has anyone ever told you that you look like the guy that plays Little Finger in Game of Thrones?

Man, ever since i was a kid, i'd try to play pure mage builds simply because magic was badass, im loving the watching this playthrough so far, it feels like watching your older brother or cousin playing Elder Scrolls and just being fascinated

I have a question about the bank loan part if someone could please answer. So I am playing DF Unity version, I am level 2 just like James, I have copied his build exactly and followed all the steps besides doing the quests in a different region. However, when I go to take out the bank loan of 100,000gold they say the max I can take out is 20,000gold due to my standing. I have not commited any crimes besides perhaps a little vagrancy so I am a bit confused. I am the same level as James too so I am not sure if this is a difference in Unity or I made a mistake. I tried checking the wiki but I don't see what I could have done wrong. Thanks for any response.

I just wanted to say even though you didnt receive many views I am really enjoying your playthrough! I couldnt get into Daggerfall before watching you and your playstyle.

How does spell absorbtion work with breton? For example, if a spell costs 20, does it only absorb 10 points as it negates half? Im curious because i'm wondering how the mechanics work with intentionally damaging yourself with an aoe spell like fireball to basically get unlimited mana.

Tried a pure mage build myself but made the mistake of going dungeon crawling with almost the same type of build you have rather than run mage guild quests and get better armor, spells and exp. I'll try to go with how you did this playthrough.

Old timer here... Nice vid. Don't see anything recent on your channel, you no longer active? Went back to Daggerfall the end of last year and been having fun with it again. Usually when I am bored or waiting for the next game to come out I drift back to Morrowind or Daggerfall and when I do I look for some to watch when my hands get tired/take a break, which is how I found this channel. Thanks for the vid, gives me ideas for my next character.

Yeah I wish he was able to upload more but his life takes priority so I guess we'll enjoy what we have and hope for more in the future.

I thought that maybe I’m playing the game wrong, but it looks like it really is just grinding 3 quests in mages guild, and then grinding levels via training. No ammount of destruction or thaumaturgy training will make dungeon delving enjoyable, so I guess the game is just not for me.

Yo Zimmicks, never heard of you before but I've been trying to find Elder Scrolls challenge content especially with the older games because they are still absolutely amazing no matter how old and outdated they may seem, and you were the first that I could find so thank you. Elder Scrolls=Best Game Series that ever had and will exist (except for Online great idea and concept but I don't think the execution was all there can get quite a bit confusing with objectives at time especially when you're early or maybe I'm just dumb) Anyways continuing the first thing I was talking about back in that first paragraph, I started typing this like right when the video loaded and it's only like 3 minutes in (as of when I typed 'minutes') and I'm already gonna sub. I have no idea what your other content is or even if this is your only video that I'll watch because nothing else appeals to me but either way you're getting a subscriber for this video. Once again thank you for this video also it's more of 8 minutes in by now rather than the 3 it was earlier. One very last thing sorry if this seemed like jumpy from one thing to another and like a rant, I REALLY struggle with keeping the stuff I say quick and not going on rants even when I'm typing a comment, email, reply or whatever like this one..

15:57 Enemies were never that fast/aggressive in original game. Unity is fucking a few things up. People that see this, be warned, this is NOT the original untouched legit experience. Enemies warping through doors as soon as you open them is another major complaint of mine. But let me watch the rest of the video first, the challenge in itself is rather interesting. It just pisses me off when someone on the internet claims to make "the ultimate replacement for an older game" and they don't deliver on their promises, only in an attempt to gather internet reputation points and clout. If you're not really devoted to a project (or if you don't really know the product very well) don't claim to be "the ultimate thing".

Ever think about doing a thief gameplay with travel mod that isn't fast travel but still can speed up travel? I've always wanted to do a Thief gameplay. Daggerfall Unity GOG cut has pretty much all the mods all together in 1 shot for best gameplay I've seen so far.

Why do you get so close to your enemies? Mages fight from a distance. Also, the same quest gets kind of repetative after a while.
