Awesome video. Changed mine out in no time.
@@luissantana692 Thanks for watching!
The spring was trying to open the door but it managed to break itself lol
Do you know anything about adding the transmission fluid for this vehicle ?
@@deanthonysmith4869 Sorry I do not. According to the manual you don't have to do anything to the transmission unless you are in a real dirty environment like driving on dirt roads. I was going to have the transmission flushed at 100k miles but it was a $600 job at the dealer. All my 4Runners were only $200. I was told the fluid was really expensive, so I opted not to. I have 150k miles with no issues with the transmission, knock on wood 🙂.
Where can I buy that little rubber piece
@@teresaking2315 I'm pretty sure I got it at AutoZone, if you watch part one I so the package it came in. Good luck, thanks for watching.
If a spring breaks in a garage and know one is there to hear it does it make a sound?
What's the price for parts & labor for this job & for a 2015 Genesis?
@@colettedubose Sparkplugs will run around $40 for the set of 6. A shop will probably charge an hour of labor for the job. Hourly rates can vary between shops from as low as $75 up to $150 per hour. Call a Hyundai dealer for a quote, then try a local garage to see the difference. Good luck.
Very good video. It's sad that such an expensive piece of trim is so cheaply made. How do you like flying the Beechjet?
@@bbaz6729 Yeah, I'm finding that there are a lot of cheaply made parts on my Ram. I am an aircraft mechanic and worked on Beechjet's for 10 years. Did some flying in my early 20's, but didn't care for being stuck in a seat for long hours. Their not bad aircraft, just a little over engineered since it was originally a japanese made aircraft, the Mitsubishi Diamond and Beechcraft just slapped a new name on it.
You could have done good telling people you may require a very specialized 14mm socket to get one hub bolt out the back. You left that out of your video conveniently.
@@GrahamHodgson-c9f Thanks for your reply. I did not use anything special besides a regular old socket, extension and rachet. Have a great day 👍.
Was quoted $766.00 from dealership for COWL for my 2014 Ram.
@@Carlos-bz2pe Wow, I guess that included installation? That's why they call them stealerships!
Same issue on my 2015 1500. Piece of cake! Crazy the OEM part is already ~$250. Will take maybe 30 minutes to do the job. Not worth paying a dealership to do this. Thanks for the video!
@@bigboy3515 Yep, thanks for watching!
@@beechjet400xp Yep! That's a good one! 😄
Thanks bro!
Lol it’s crazy I have the exact same car 2011 4.6 v8 genesis sedan and one night my tail lights stayed on for hours…i watched this video and went to advanced and bought the exact same switch blocker lol…thanks boss all genesis owners need this video
@@TGB_Strap556 Good stuff, glad it helped. Thanks for watching!
You’re amazing omg !!!! I saw those broken pieces on my floor and thought it was a dried up grape from my brother or something 😭 This is exactly what I needed. Thanks !
@@jaib.9975 You are welcome, thanks for watching!
Do you like the skiff? Thinking of getting one!
I like it a lot! It is a very capable 15' boat surprisingly. I have been out in whitewater bay in the Everglades in 2-3' tight chop from 20 mph winds and it road over it pretty well, running about 18 mph. Normally run 25-28 mph in regular seas. Its a great simple base boat to start with and upgrade as you go. Great thing is you can usually pick up a 2-3 year old one with the 60 hp Mercury and less than 50hours for around $15-16k. I did a lot of upgrades, check out my channel, I have videos on a few of them. Hydraulic steering was the best one, really changes the way it drives and makes it feel like a more high end boat. Being so simple also makes it super easy to clean up. I just sold my 23' center console because I was using the mako 15 a lot more. Good luck!!!
also, i cant see in the video where the pump bulb is located in the fuel line, where is that located in the set up?
Hello again, you can see the fuel bulb at the beginning of the video, it is located above the deck tied in with the rest of the stuff going to the engine. I did not move it, it comes installed there from the factory.
what size hose? and where do you buy the extra hose and tank connectors to attach to the second tank?
The hose is 3/8". You can get the connectors at any west marine usually or Amazon. Take a look at the first comment, I have links in my reply to him. Thanks for watching!
My arms are in the way to get any socket or wrench in how u get around it 😢
@@DaytonPerez-v9l Hello, that's not good. It's definitely a little bit of a stretch. I used a rachet with different length extensions depending on what bolt I was working on. Also short sockets work better than the long ones. Try laying down on the ground too, might have to get under the car a little. Just make sure it's supported well. Good luck!
Can you use Teflon tape on 5he threads rather than gasket sealant?
@@daleforster3528 you can, I just preferred the gasket sealant as I read about people having issues with the tape.
Is there a way to fix it without having to buy a whole new one?
Not sure. If you are crafty just about anything can be fixed. For me it wasn't worth trying, too easy to just replace.
amazon has them MUCH less $$ than factory
in my experience having just replaced mine after trying to repair it- i'd just look at replacing it. usually the mechanism is no good inside the thing and doesn't seem possible to get to the part that fails without more damage to the sunvisor. i know some people put magnets inside of it so it stays up.
This is the kind of content that i made a TH-cam account for.
Hey Bruce, this is a good video on what might be wrong with your sun visors!
Well done, I appreciate it.
Thanks for watching!!
Does it still work ? Would you recommend it ?
Works great, would definitely recommend. I even bought another one for a 15' boat. Just went with a higher HP rated one but from the same company. Good quality product.
Great video. I have a 2014 Genesis Sedan with 218K miles and everything still original.
Sweet, hope mine makes it that far!!
My 2013 same thing 🤦 cheap plastics very expensive 🫰
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
Came here from the video.
How did you get the center bolt off
I assume you mean the center drive shaft? I had to hit it a few times with a mallet to break it free. Mine wasn't too rusty seeing that I live in Florida.
Isn’t there a bolt on it? I’m taking about the bolt that’s in the middle of the hub. theirs a pin you pull out then a bolt I believe
The nut sorry you said it in the video
Or do you know the MM it is to take it off? Lmfao my bad for the extra comments I’m in the gym and took a break on the car
Yeah you pull the cotter key then remove the nut. Break the nut free with both rear tires on the ground to keep the wheels from spinning.
Great video always wanted to know how it looks when it happens

It is kinda strange. Saw another reply about some bloody video?
@@beechjet400xp Yeah, some dude posted a short which showed a garage where the floor was covered with drops of blood, it was a place where the person was called to fix the garage door. Seems like the person who previously tried to fix the door got into an accident with the springs and got injured badly.

not a very heavy door
was the bracket you mounted the selector switch already in place or did you buy it? Also where did you get your fuel tank blocks? I'm going to do this to my 2012 MPS.
Thanks for watching. I made the bracket from aluminum angle from Home Depot. 1/8" x 1" x 3 foot.www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-1-in-x-36-in-Aluminum-Angle-with-1-8-in-Thick-801367/204273950
I made the fuel tank blocks from 1/2" pieces of starboard. 1/2" x 1/2" x 3". Drill and countersunk holes so screws won't dig into the bottom of the plastic tank.
can you share the link to this item? Thanks.

Sent you some info but had to delete it as the size I had was incorrect. These are the correct size 1/4 NPT with 3/8 barb. Valve is 1/4 FNPT. Make sure to get the one with the center fitting that points back like the one in the link instead of down.
Thanks for the helpful video. Does the outside door handle has to be removed in order for the inside panel to come off?
Nope, I did not remove the door handle. Thanks for watching.
Has the voltage output decreased due to the length of the cable run?
Did not see any change since I used a lot larger cable then what came with the boat.
@@beechjet400xp thank you.
What size cable did you use?
I used 2 AWG wire. For the length I needed it was on the border between 2 and 4 AWG. Went with 2 to be on the safe side. Probably a little overkill for this boat/engine.
@@beechjet400xp thank you.
Thanks for sharing. Good info.
Welcome, thanks for watching. I put out another video where I replaced the rubber with an aluminum tube.
Aww, life of a maroon truck in a sunshine state. I see temperatures at 130 F inside my 2018 frequently. Thank you, I know how to change mine.
Thanks for watching. 👍
How much did you pay for that? I’m seeing it around $120 on goggle. I’ll probably purchased a non brand one on Amazon for $24.
Hello, I paid $130 shipped from Lakeland Toyota in Florida just a couple hours from me. If it was my car I might have gone the cheaper route, but it was for the wife and wanted to make sure it matched just like the original. Hope you have good luck with the Amazon one 👍. Thanks for watching!

If you have the cable steering like I used to before I changed to hydraulic. The shaft thread is 1/2" not the normal 5/8. So you will have to find one that comes with the 1/2 nut. For some reason they charge a little more for them 🙁
I too, had this exact problem- out of the box!!!
