@@DaytonPerez-v9l Hello, that's not good. It's definitely a little bit of a stretch. I used a rachet with different length extensions depending on what bolt I was working on. Also short sockets work better than the long ones. Try laying down on the ground too, might have to get under the car a little. Just make sure it's supported well. Good luck!
I assume you mean the center drive shaft? I had to hit it a few times with a mallet to break it free. Mine wasn't too rusty seeing that I live in Florida.
Just used a socket and long rachet. They are a little tight and you might have to tap the rachet with a mallet. One of the bolts is in a tight spot, but the socket will fit in there. Hopefully yours are not corroded in. Good luck.
It shouldn't be accessible. I know it's hard to see back behind it. Try a mirror or use your phone on video to take a look behind. I know I used different length extensions to get on them due to suspension parts in the way. Also try a short and long socket, one might work better than the other. What side of the car are you working on?
You could have done good telling people you may require a very specialized 14mm socket to get one hub bolt out the back. You left that out of your video conveniently.
Great video. I have a 2014 Genesis Sedan with 218K miles and everything still original.
Sweet, hope mine makes it that far!!
My arms are in the way to get any socket or wrench in how u get around it 😢

How did you get the center bolt off

Isn’t there a bolt on it? I’m taking about the bolt that’s in the middle of the hub. theirs a pin you pull out then a bolt I believe
The nut sorry you said it in the video
Or do you know the MM it is to take it off? Lmfao my bad for the extra comments I’m in the gym and took a break on the car
Yeah you pull the cotter key then remove the nut. Break the nut free with both rear tires on the ground to keep the wheels from spinning.

@@beechjet400xp my axle is in the way of the top left, how did you get the socket passed the axle?

Sorry, meant to say "It should be accessible" 🙁
@@beechjet400xp I just ordered a set of stubby sockets, I think that’ll work

@@GrahamHodgson-c9f Thanks for your reply. I did not use anything special besides a regular old socket, extension and rachet. Have a great day 👍.
