Searching you on spotify returns a profile with 0 plays, views etc... similar story with google. If youre going to preach a path to success, then you need to be successful first. Not hating, but it seems as though you have not accomplished the thing that you are trying to lead others towards. Release some music, man! Thats a much better way to give people confidence in you!

When I add the URL link, I would like the Google Ad to show a section of my video from the middle and not from the start, so for example from 00:30 to 01:30 and not from the start of the video... is this possible? I followed an older video you made and for the campaign type you selected "more conversions lower intent" so I have around 5 running with that campaign type, would you recommend I go back and change it to "less conversions higher intent" for better results?

A couple of things: 1. I can understand privacy concerns, you don't want a band having your email address just because you listened to their stuff a few times. On the other hand, you should be given the option to allow it. 2. I would say over 90% of the posts and articles I've seen regarding making a living on Spotify amount to "you won't. You'll get streams, but you'll lose money from promo." It's great you know some people who are doing well, but at this point I'm convinced it has little to do with song quality and quite a bit to do with luck. We got picked up by Editorial playlists and got a few hundred thousand plays. A family friend got mentioned on a TikTok influencers channel and within a week got 149,000 followers and G-d knows how many streams. All of that is basically getting struck by lightning. Meanwhile, all the strategies I tried (from various courses and workshops) did nothing. 3. The pre-saves are interesting, I haven't had a lot of success with them but I guess it's worth trying. For our next album, hopefully done by the end of the summer, I plan to release three or four cuts over six weeks and then release the whole album. I'm wondering how pre-saves will work using that method. Thanks for a great video.
