  • Well, it was time to go outside the norm and try some stuff that I’ve spent many hours reading about. This saw has some killer compression! Stay tuned for a video on how she’s running.
    Thanks for watching!

Interesting concept of piston work and cylinder of course. I hope all of your efforts pay off when you bar up and cut some wood. Thanks for sharing 🌲🪓😎

She’s running great! Peak power is around 10-11k. A little higher than I expected, but I did widen the exhaust. Video coming soon. Thanks for watching!

That is a very interesting approach on a 372 build!!!! Looking forward to seeing how it runs. 👍🏻 Personally i dont think the epoxy will last long at all in the exhaust. But it very well could.

Do you have a link to the bits and the tool you’re using to port it?

If you’re referring to the variable speed grinder. amzn.to/485H5tD
The bits I just grab off of eBay. Thanks for watching!

How much compression did you get out of your work? Cheers

Right around 170psi after the first pop off, but it is now confirmed 155psi because the saw ate the epoxy on the exhaust roof. Now the exhaust is at the stock 162° duration. Surprisingly somehow the saw ate it with min to no damage lol. Follow up vid coming soon.
      Thanks for watching!

@@DIGGINGDEEP007 they do. You can't use anything like that with so much heat. The exhaust does suck in . Hopefully it's salvageable. Sorry to hear with so much time into it. I'm sure you won't do that again anyway. Cheers

Surprisingly, it running just fine. I honestly did not expect it to last. The damage is minimal and still running strong. We’ll be tearing into it again very soon.
