I have been using these since the late 80 . My first one still looks new and works great . I have not broke a glass or anything in 40 plus years . The candle does not make a mess inside unless you move it before wax cools .
Hmm. I been thinking about modding mine and sharping the edges. I also notice it didnt have a food pusher on it. But as you out a stick in the handle itself. I guess you could just find a stick with a branch off the side of it to make a make shift way of doing just that.
Thanks for highlighting a product that could save our lives.
Thank you for watching
I only wish how to properly sharpen them with sharpening stones not the crap that you buy in the store to sharpen knives
I have a different one and it doesn’t seem to cut so well. Don’t know how to sharpen the teeth. Can they be sharpened?
Not easily
They don't appear to make the blanket anymore. Just the ponchos and liners. Shame. Could have made a nice option
Made in China ,no thanks
Hi there how is your house doing. Are there any modifications in using cattails. Did using the leather needle help secure the cattails. Have you tried bundles of cattails for insulating wall interiors. Do you have other videos you can share. Regards
It was nearly done then the whole place caught fire
@@OdinswolfSurvival oh gosh keep going. Youre an inspiration to all viewers. How did it catch fire.
Electrical and it got house and everything but I'm still making vids and doing reviews
That's a nice spoon sir.
Cool set!
What do you do when you need a knife and a fork at the same time? 🤔
Have a pricker handy. 😁
You described the purpose of the sewn on line incorrectly. You fill the bag all the way up to the top seam and let the water run out of the bag until it reaches the line. this insures the contaminants on the outside of the bag has been washed away. Then you put your collection container under the Sock and use the rest of the water to boil, filter or chemically purify. Beware of cross contamination of dirty water and clean water containers. Also clean your hands.
They remind me of some older cutlery ive seen from WW1 or WW2 kits
nice one bud
Great littel kit odin wolf
Thank u sir
Didn't know this existed. Thanks!
Seems good for 50. For those looking for the 1 knife, this looks good. Basically Esee design. PLEASE take this out and use and abuse. Give it to a boy scout who will really USE it. And as much as I like it... It is not my kind of knife.
Thays so cool. Thank you for making the short.
Thank you
I like it, very cool. Thanks
Thank you
When i go bush crafting, i use my knife as a knife. I bring a hatchet or machetes to do branch work or building a lean-to. I think this is a great knife for under 50 bucks. Great video.
Thank you sir
looks pretty good! Is it common for the teeth to be sharpened? i feel like this could be excellent with narrower teeth or razor edges on the teeth. Unless this is only intended for trapping, not killing🤷🏻♂️
Its a rat Trapani its lethal. You can sharpen the teeth yes
Excellent Review, thank you for sharing, Sub'd.
Thank you sir
Hi the ferro rod unscrews
Mine doesn't
@@OdinswolfSurvival it will
@GaryGraham-68 not with the glue thats on it
good video. I have seen these but haven't used them. They seem to put out good light for what they are.
They dob<t the build quality is a bit weak
Can you still get them at Walmart, our Walmarts here in SOCAL don’t carry them yet.
Yes they are all available on the Walmart site
@@OdinswolfSurvival I tried to order one still not available here in my area. Bummer looks like a nice blade.
If not then u can order off of their app
im surprised i haven’t seen anyone injure themselves with this thing yet. its a tool. why does everyone grind the stick against it? who holds the hammer down, and then beats the wood with the nail in it against the hammer??
Better control
sweeeeet
Swiss tech is not owned by walmart but it is exclusive to walmart. Ozark trail IS owned by walmart. I personally think increasing the amount of belly the knife has and making the handle more shock absorbent will take this knife and give it the value of a 100 dollar knife.
I agree little work on handle would make it worth double or more in value.
I got a saw that takes care of that 😅
So do I lol
Awsome!! I need a set of these in my life!
Indeed
I have several of these, they work great. I get mine from temu for $1.50 to 3 bucks for 10, and now they have different colors.
Nice
Now a channel I can sink my axe into. Nothing beats a good 14 inch seax, but this would be a good bag knife for sure. New sub , thanks . May the Norns favor you.
Thank you sir
It was Cherrywood
Thanks for the correction friend
👍 from Me Keep up the awesome helpful videos bro
Thank you sir
I like the hell out of it I hate the steel
I saw this knife through the Wally World app and took a chance on it though I had not heard anything about SwissTech. So far I have been impressed with the build quality and how it feels in the hand. It's comfortable, grippy, built tight with no rattle or buzz on impact. It come with a good fitting, no rattle sheath with an adjustable belt clip and multiple lashing options. The size of the knife itself lends itself to the backup knife position, both in terms of self defense and sometime just needing to do something that might possibly damage a more expensive blade. Also its overall size would make it a good choice for edc, the blade has a good shape to it and is of a size that it would be enough to accomplish most of what you'd need it for in most instances without being too "tacticool". So far, it's been through a ton of 550 cord and a lot of strapping, both nylon and leather, with no noticeable edge wear or damage and has kept it's surprisingly sharp out of the box edge. I do wonder about the colored insert at the butt of the knife though. Looks good, but you can't tell if it is or isn't compromising the "full tang" aspect without taking it apart and you can, I think, to be able to see if it's a true full tang or how it's been put together. Maybe I'll look at that when I have to sharpen it the first time. But anyway, so far so good. Glad I took the chance on this $40 knife.
Awesome review. Thank you.
Thank you sir
cool
gives off a ton
And runs a long time
For spamming ??? Effing TH-cam. Keep up the great work !!!
Thank you sir
Imagine you hear a messed up sound at night and in a panick you fumble with the light flipping it back and forth because it wont plug in 😂
sure the lights are cheap, but the power banks are pricey
Most people have a powerbank for their phone
Thanks! I've never tried one but I've always wondered how well they work.
@@robbabcock_ they work surprisingly well
Come on Scrowe…

Hows the battery backup??
Any battery pack that charges a phone charges thus
@@OdinswolfSurvival sorry i meant to ask, how long does the battery last once you charge it full?
@Hojoborolo_ami about 200 1.5 second burns
I discovered Ragweed Forge website 20 years ago and must have bought about 50 Mora knives in a few years with him (+ a few other "fancier" scandi blades). Back then it was the previous owner... They stopped shipping outside of the US at some stage so I had to stop using their site unfortunately. I had exchanged a few emails with him and he was always very quick to reply (and ship parcels!) and always very nice... I'm sure many knives lovers still keep a good memory of him... I do!
Thanks for the great coverage of our new Mini Fire-Making Kit! We very much appreciate the support. Also, if you use the serrated edge of the Cerastrike scraper to shred a piece of the included CHOKTAW Fire Tabs (or the waxed jute line in our patented SurvivorCord - same material), and then scrape the magnesium onto the processed jute, you have an instant fire. Works really well. Also, the individual Cerastrike scrapers are coming...we have them in stock, just working on photos and stuff.
Save a few for me. I have a few projects lol
