Why not just use a clipper lighter and none of that is necessary? The "ears" on a clipper isn't as strong as a bic though..your thoughts?

MK butane lighter and refillable. Works in the wind and has a extended reach.
@OdinswolfSurvival suggest you get one and compare..no kid safety stuff..refillable..can replace flints..striker assembly can be removed..hex shape striker wheel is easy to use..you really need to compare cricket to bic
