If you ever do more of these I would LOVE to see more from FF8, even if some of them end up having the same songs and are just different areas but that's because I'm a nerd who loves this game lol

I didn't get to play FF8 because I play FF9 during my childhood, but my big brother played FF8, and I still love this song when he was playing FF8. One of the best FF city/lounge themes.

I’m one of the dudes that never wants to play remakes etc but thanks to FFX I got on board with it. I’m already playing a new game of this on my ps3 but I must finally try the remaster.
The remaster kind of leaves a lot to be desired tbh. A lot of stuff that they 'remastered' just kinda appears washed out oftentimes

@@bluestrife28 nice. I must admit I liked the FFX remake but I did appreciate the option for the original OST. This video is actually the regular PSX version of FF8, just upscaled and improved using a ps1 emulator called Duckstation. If you're on Android you can play psx games on your phone!

I think you can make a strong case for 8 having the best soundtrack of them all. 7 and 8 are very close.

FF VIII & VII are the best videogames and OSTs.
I played FFX an year after its release because I didn’t have a PS2 yet at the time. I bought the soundtrack though, like every other FF in my collection. I listened to that music for countless hours during that year of wait, so much that I envisioned my version of the game and the world. Then I finally played FFX and I fell in love with it, although it couldn’t surpass what I made up in my mind. Whenever I hear this track specifically I can still remember some of the details of my own version of FFX. Good times!
This might be one of mine favorite chill-out spot in all of Stalker games both trilogy and mods. At least definitely up there with that one cornor in Rostok they you can find some stalkers just resting by the fireplace, or the train station in Garbage.

I beat FF8 for the first time recently and I fell in love with Timber's music immediately. That bass is just too damn good. Uematsu's insane man... Really appreciate this btw

I get that there's a whole thing about the English translation of FF8 being off and a lot of people don't like it (along with the story being apparently rushed), but I didn't mind it. I already liked Squall when I first saw him in Kingdom Hearts, so getting to see him develop in his og game was awesome. Plus Selphie, Zell, Rinoa, Quistis, Irvine, they're all great too! And again the music's just so good (like usual). Also the junction system was really interesting, I can see though how easy it can be to break the game with it tho
Non-ironically one of the most original settings in a Final Fantasy game. I wish we could go with the Board School thing in later entries of the series. Oh, FFVIII, how much you need a Remake...
