I played FFX an year after its release because I didn’t have a PS2 yet at the time. I bought the soundtrack though, like every other FF in my collection. I listened to that music for countless hours during that year of wait, so much that I envisioned my version of the game and the world. Then I finally played FFX and I fell in love with it, although it couldn’t surpass what I made up in my mind. Whenever I hear this track specifically I can still remember some of the details of my own version of FFX. Good times!
This is why i never listen to the soundtrack of games or series i didn't watched or played yet.
whenever a new FF was announced i had the best time imagining what it might be like, i also have this with some movies, most recently with the star wars sequels, could've used some of my ideas ^^
things I wanted to do before having my first baby: research and learn EVERYTHING about pregnancy, childbirth, hypnobirthing, cloth nappies, EC, what I need for the baby, non-toxic baby stuff...
things I want to do before baby 2: chill out and play FFX again 😌
@@rachelscriven881 Hahaha, yeah absolutely. Its funny, when my son was born I would sit with him in the little basket, or sit with him in my arms and I'd be playing FFX in the background. That all stopped as soon as he could crawl. I hope I get to do that again with the next one. Its also amusing that many of us are approaching parenthood at the same time.

i see a pattern with TH-cam that piss me off, here we go! i find a nice long video, no ads. i give a damn like, listen the video again : now there's magical ads popping out of nowhere every 5 or 10min. do "they " plan to piss off the entire YT community or somthing?
Yeah I seem to get a lot of ads while watching my own videos, but I've noticed some channels have hardly any at all.

Uematsu is as close to perfection as it gets with the FFX soundtrack

I think this is one of the pieces that was composed by Masashi Hamauzu without Uematsu, but you're absolutely right, I love the FFX soundtrack so much.
Perfect way to listen to this track forever.

I had this on Fullscreen on my main monitor and answered a text on my phone. After setting my Phone down my first instinct was to grab my controller and resume playing.

Thank you, I am playing the remastered soundtrack version of the game, and this one track was my favourite in the original and honestly I think this is better than the remastered soundtrack which lacks the little beat and replaces the piano with violin, the remastered is nice and probably musically technically "better" but I had to come to search for the original and yea for me this version is better even if it is purely due to nostalgia. And is there any other scene in a game of this age with such beauty!
Haha yeahhh I understand that the remastered version is arguably better, but I have to have the original music. I noticed everyone else's videos used the remastered soundtrack, and I really needed this version for my own enjoyment. I may do more when I have time in the future.

The OG soundtrack is perfect.
I like some of the newer versions, but I don't love and vibe with them like the original pieces. I tried to, but I just end up turning the OG soundtrack back on.
@@tigerlily1118 I'm exactly the same. I always give them a try though, to be fair to the people involved. But the original OST is just perfect still.
Unfortunately all of our daydreaming in time spent in togetherness while being separate while traversing through Final Fantasy 10 we were inevitably giving our Daydream life and energy Tucson to which gave birth to a different kind of metaphysical eye land

Also why did you f*** with the Final Fantasy VII movie that my roommate and I paid money to go see in theaters it almost reminded me of like a daydream eat stream or like certain things were just affected not only were certain things affected certain scenes we're changed up and had additional dialogue and dialogue added into make a silliness out of it when people were paying money to relive memories and or to just pay money to go see it one person is not worth more than all these other people but there was a direct connection to me that the systems that I'm trying to communicate with just don't give a f*** about the rest of you for whatever reason and it's kind of disheartening and again I really feel bad for everybody that went to go see the Final Fantasy 7 movie that was released in theaters because it was f****** with them subconsciously and somehow I was connected and nobody's helping to alleviate that tragedy to people to money there's a bigger scam at large involving people and their money and the ability to just enjoy media and art
Also that's all connected to some f****** psycho who infiltrated the soup kitchen that I go to to eat to try to communicate with me but who is deep down a secret P for Google who is trying to lie to me and just be a subversive subjective f****** psychopath but apparently they have access to well I mean they're f****** somebody who works at Google and they're f****** with the movie industry now

Nice! I was hammering this game when my son was born, and managed to win the blitz tournament for the first time in my life. I was so happy. Haven't managed to pick this back up recently though. Amazing game.
