Great feeling
Gets rowdy, love the blue guage cluster
Bad ass!
Looks like a great time what a joy it must be to have a wonderful car like that and Cruz on the streets 🎉
Looks like fun, nothing better than a drive after all that hard work💪
Sounds Good man
Yessssss
Cooler than a vette for sure 😊
Try that on a Tesla plaid, and i dont like battery cars. Tesla Plaid runs 9.3
Dude instead of acting like a ricer, why didn't you slowly pull up to vette and wait till you get to next light and see if he races or not.
I want some specs bro
Nice interior lights
This is a stick. Dude my big stalled th400 fuel injected 438windsor 68 Mustang will crush it..where do you live. My car is a street car too.
What's your cam specs, transmission, dyno at wheel, and car's weight?
If this thing spins 7500rpm then your cam is a drag cam and wont last long on the street ....guaranteed
Hey where do you live. I have a 9sec 68 Mustang street car. Race you anytime.
Whats this Camaro dyno at wheel. What transmission, cam and engine specs, weight? Whats motor spin to?
Never on the dyno.I just got it running after 25 years of it sitting.408 sbc AFR 195 heads 11-1 compression.Custom grind cam.Car is 2832 lbs 👀.Currie 9 inch aluminum rear end with 4,11’s.Ridetech suspension 4 link.Old school Muncie poor man’s transmission lol.Still holding up.Still lots to do but it’s fun.Still tuning and adjusting.I was hoping to get 500 foot pounds of torque out off all motor N/A I don’t care about hp even though I am using this old school Victor jr that I ported to match the heads with a 1 inch spacer. That was a pain staking week long process ugh.I didn’t want to go LS hoping this old dinosaur motor and trans can keep up with the new generation. With the weight reduction this car really scoots out of the hole if I am easy on the clutch.Just a fun build is all nothing to crazy.
@@joshuagarvey9362 How did you get car that light?
@@joshuagarvey9362 Your gauges look bitchin. What are they?
@@joshuagarvey9362 That motor is 25 years old..are you serious?
I pulled this motor out of a 1974 station wagon🫣.The dash lights I peace together from auto meter. Then changed to LED blue. The dash was custom made from a gentleman on EBAY.He custom fabricates for older cars.
I think he was just pissed at how much a big mac meal cost. 😂
$14 for Big Mac combo Lol.Remember when you and I were kids.I think in the 80’s it was like $4.50 woooow.
@@joshuagarvey9362 here in the 90's it was 3.49 you could super size it for .39 cents more
Nice car bro, seriously. 👍 But I was kinda anticipating some kind of a race.
Years ago I had a 63 Chevy II w a 406!
Cool car d bag driver!!
You drive like an asshole, congratulations lol. I bet you "race" people that dont know theyre in a race, too.
A block head start just to pass it ? B F DEAL
38 seconds of my life I won't get back
I own a few Muscle Cars. 70 GTX 440-6 and a 70 Challenger 340. I drive the opposite. I have owned my cars since the 70s. I am 65 yo. I want them around for my sons. But I still thrash them now and again. But it’s a very isolated area. And with no one around to try and impress. I know what they will do when someone is around. So I have no desire to show out. I really like to idle in with my .500 lift cam hitting a good lick. No harm. No foul.
lumpy cam noises beats 7500rpm all day in my book
Not impressive. You did a ricer flyby
He didn't say he beat him
You couldn't get it in gear ANY quicker lmao. Love it.
I seen this guy ripping around a few times when I was in my slow bmw.He went flying by me when I was driving the bmw soooo I just so happened to see him again but this time I was in my old rust bucket annnnnnddddd the shifter immediately turned into a magnet and grab my hand, and I had to pay it forward.👊
Those new vetts and pro charge hellcats and mustangs are all fast as hell no question but this old rust bucket car can still be a thorn in anyone’s ass.
All I see here is a dumb ass.
that steering looks very safe.
It's so loose looking
Spent all his money on the motor...
I've done this sort of thing many, many times myself in my Pro Street Mustang II with a 557cid. These new shiny cars think they're all that, but the old school modified cars can waste 'em easy. I get the tingles whenever I see an easy mark.
Yooo a mustang 2 is wyld. Amazing work
Easy huh..... What happens when those new cars run sub 7 sec 1/4s and have over 1500whp? All with a/c-heated seats, a/c, while listening to car-play and sipping a coffee? I love a good old school car any day, but this statement is just.... wrong. Displacement is great until you run into someone who also has it. Maybe you have 2kwhp in your mustang II, maybe you don't. But I guarantee no all motor 500ci v8-9-10-11-12 anything is gonna walk all over my r8 let alone some of the faster cars out there. 2020 Audi R8 AMS Alpha12 1564whp 7.56 at 181mph on factory 20 inch wheels and all season continental tires. Please.....
Sorry bro i dont care what you say your audi is not a streetable car and wont last long before a rebuild. Something will pop in traffic or racing soon..That much power in a street car is laughable
the car is sweet man
Must have impressed the vette driver driving like a maniac
lmao right? Camaro driver got nothing more than a laugh and a shaking of the head due to disappointment lol
Oh wow straight line acceleration so dangerous
@@DigitalCowboy87You're sad and lonely
@@CloroxGodThe1st married, two kids, and a car that would gap that Camaro with ease. But yeah, sure, keep being a tough guy on TH-cam 😂
Man sounds great
Have you finished it
Drive it around a lot.So many new upgrades.Just haven’t painted yet but that’s not stopping me from driving it.
Man I love the interior lights. That car got some giddy up!
Awsum
That’s awesome I mean the way you control that massive power
It’s lots of fun rolling gears.
Reverse cam.
What head gaskets did u use
Felpro 1014
I love the commentary.
Badass Build dude nice car ☺️
Sounds good 💯
Flowmasters sound nice at idle.Anyone try Magaflow?…Maybe I should try them and see the difference.
Cool car sir ... I have a 67 rs that I been working on for awhile too...
How goes your build?
It's going good finally able to drive around a little .... just working out all the bugs now still need to do plenty of work but feels good to drive
@@garypena5178 congratulations.Mine is the same.Little problem always coming up.But man Oooo man what a real treat it is to drive around.🤩
@joshuagarvey9362 yes sir thank you , all the hard work paying off for sure ....
Will that car rip out ? Will it peel rubber
Sounds good. I love those 400s
Changing the heads and headers on it in A couple weeks.Waiting for them to arrive and I will post A sound differences.I am curious.
that thing is quiet compared to my pypes violator x pype. like the tone...mines obnoxious
he answered someone and said theyre super 44s bet if theyre were original 40s then theyd be barking pretty loud
@@KingJT80 ya...my bros 4 spd 68 got has 40s...my vert has 3 in pypes xpipe w violators and it'll make your eyes cross
@@oldschooltwist18 yeah that's gonna be pretty loud. I'm staying 2.5 on this car with original 40s and an h pipe. But long tube headers though
@@KingJT80 that'll sound really good. The 40s have a good deep tone but not obnoxious. They sound really good
@@oldschooltwist18 yeah I think I have that now on the car but it's stock compression stock stroke on my channel. It sounds good for a low compression small block...that's gonna change......
Nice car. Move out of California though. They are gonna try to find ANY way they can to put these old cars in a crusher. Someone needs to get Gavin gruesome out of office.
No they're not. Don't be ignorant.
yes they are, carbon free zones coming to a commie sector near you. wake up.
🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶👌🏽sounds good
Nice work! But just a note, I think you have to switch your back tires around they're facing the wrong way because they're directional
