For the waves plugins, I notice you’re using the stereo versions instead of the mono for the Lead vocal, is that intentional and does it make a difference which one(plugin) you use between the mono/stereo version of the plugins?
That’s a great observation! I intentionally use stereo versions of the plugins on lead vocals because of personal preference and the flexibility it provides. Since recorded vocals are always mono and have no stereo information, technically, there’s no difference between using mono or stereo plugins when it comes to standard processing (like EQ or compression). However, I choose stereo plugins because it allows me to directly add stereo effects like reverb or delay on the inserts without needing to route them to an auxiliary track.
