The third had POTENTIAL. The dark psyenergy would have bren cool to explore, potential an under side of the world in shadow could have worked. Imo dark dawn failed for no back tracking, the original characters were lacking, and much from the originals was left out. Im no story teller, but dark dawn could be the 4th chronologically, with a 3rd going more before the kids, exploring the transition of the world w9th lachemy and lumaria needed more. Rip alex lol

There has been a longer gap from the end of Dark Dawn to now (14 years) than the gap from Golden Sun TLA to Dark Dawn (9 years), and it hurts.

Dark Dawn was a breath of air into the franchise considering the huge gap between 2001-2010, but it felt hollow. I much preferred the traditional 2D high saturation artstyle, and Dark Dawn's story was butt. If we revisit this series, I would love a game set before Golden Sun showing what ultimately lead up to the sealing of Alchemy.

I never even saw these until the 90s in the Pit of 100 trials, and that was at level 30+. and then they're still worth over 40 star points. Imagine how much one is worth during chapter 4. 🥺

I'd love a remake of GS1&2 combined, and then for them to do GS3 Remake with GS4 being able to carry data over from 3.

Seriously my man, play suikoden II

Suikoden is great, I mostly played the first one. Could easily emulate it, I ended it last year that way but they are finally rereleasing the first two hopefully soon with some improvements so will be getting it then for sure unless they get greedy on the price :) I'm hoping for around the US$25-30 mark

Remakes are NEVER good. Takes away from the classic feel and memories. Whoever likes remakes are newbies and have no right or place. Now, a continuation would be great. And add more playable characters to fight mode. And have a teleportation mechanism to travel instead of having to get to places encountering a lotta battles 💯

Remake 1 and 2 as the complete package they were intended to be then completely remake 3. Ground up, scratch Dark Dawn

Remaking the games from scratch wouldn’t hurt but I definitely need another game after that cliffhanger in Dark Dawn.

Maybe a sequel-reboot that skips the story that would've been Golden Sun 4 and let the players piece together what happened through gameplay, that way no one would feel too lost from not playing Dark Dawn but also compelled to do so if they feel interested.
