When it's working I love it....but, I am just about to claim warranty on my 3rd (Yes, 3rd!) replacement from PD. Every one has failed about 18 months in on the same issue - a cracked bushel inside a leg section. They are a weird hard plastic and have all cracked and partly come apart inside the leg therefore making the leg clamp fail. Must be a design fault as 3 in a row in not just bad luck. No abuse either. gentle landscape use a few times a month. Oh and that centre column has failed the same as yours on each one too! Interested if anyone else has had these issues as it's can't just be me, right?
thank goodness for the lifetime warranty, why they are so valuable. Get a modern ulanzi and only 1 year warranty, even with improved features is just scary
Would you buy it again? Since you have that lifetime warranty, is it worth the price tag? I’m on the fence between PD and Ulanzi. Leaning towards PD because of the lifetime warranty.
Peak Design products have a lifetime warrranty, so they may be able to resolve the issue with the center column release knob.

absolutely agree on the case. So great for traveling.
