천만에요. 도움이 되어 기쁩니다!
Incredibly well done. Love your editing
Thank you very much!
Nice work. I really appreciate you showing the ocean pour
Thank you! Cheers!
If you masked it you could have painted it then pulled the masking off. Also wouldn't get the burn marks
That is a common method. However, I hate having to remove the masking tape. Especially all the tiny pieces which are easily missed. It really comes down to preference.
I watched that video in 2x speed on my break and briefly stopped 2x and it was trippy soundly slomo
Thanks for watching!
does the resin harden thin when your making the ocean scene? I fear if I tried that it would end up lopsided at the end
It is self leveling. Since I let it flow over the edges, it is pretty thin unless you do many layers. If you are really worried about it, you can do a layer or two of clear. Tape the edges off and have the tape just a little above the highest surface. Pour your clear and it will level. Remove the tape, sand the edges then do a final thin layer allowing the clear to run the edges. Now you have a very flat surface. Good luck.
Great stuff
Thank you so much!
Very nice!
Thanks for the visit
Was the paint water based?
Yes. It is an acrylic craft paint.
Thank you for sharing. I saw your mixing resin tutorial, did you mix any powder for this? The powder you used in the other video was the same color as the acrylic ink. This turned out so nicely.
I mixed a black pigment powder and acrylic ink. I am glad you liked it!
Very professional solution.
Thank you. Hope it helps.
These coasters look fantastic! I also love the zero waste aspect of this project. It’s a lot of effort however, I have some friends who are “wood connoisseurs” who would go wild for these! Great job!
Thank you!
thx for sharing

Just found your channel. LOVING your videos - especially where you combine laser and resin (my two favorite crafts).
Working with resin has brought a whole new level to my laser crafts! Now experimenting with sculpting with polymer clay + resin + laser! Just keeps getting more fun!
What a great method! I can't wait to try this! Thanks! EDIT: I was just thinking - I bet this would work with glitter, too. I gotta try that, also!
Sure would. I am not a glitter girl myself but the possibilities are endless.
EXCELLENGT PRESENTATION, Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks!
You are most welcome and appreciated!
Hello. I just purchased something from Bumblechute’s using your link and it did NOT provide me with any type of discount… Did I miss something?
I am so sorry. I went back to look at my description and found that I forgot to put the coupon code in. I apologize. If you would like to email me at info@elephantmemories.net, maybe I can do something to make up for it. Once again, I am very sorry for my mistake.
These are all so great!
Thank you. It is so much fun to find ways to use items that we already have!

These are easy and fun projects to make for gifts or for your upcoming craft show. Check description for free designs.
Nice! What bit are you using to cut this?
1/4" downcut spiral bit
Love This. I do something similar. Where you are wiping away the paint I wrap my wet paper towel in a cricut scraper (As that is what I have - any type of squeegee would work) and use as a squeegee and find I get a nice clean scrape without wiping away the paint from the design.
That's a great idea!
Very nice work. As an artist, I see the turtles as too dark, silhouetted on the shallow surface. Could simply be attributed to bad lighting in the room. Perhaps clear filler for the turtles or a gradation of color used on the turtles - from light to dark - would look more convincing to the shallows. Either way, what a process this took. Great job!
Thanks for the tips!
What resin inlay you have used? Talking about the black ink.
I am not quite sure what you are asking.
Love this!!!
Thank you.
Is everything you're using on the surface of this cutting board food grade, or just the top coat?
The top of the cutting board has a clear coat of a tabletop epoxy that is FDA approved for food contact. We leave the back blank so people can use the back to cut on and serve on the front.
Nice project but I could never do the detail painting.
It is not as bad as you think. After color filling the white, where you see the black is actually higher than the white, so it is easy to lightly touch that raised area. I have moderate arthritis and don't have a problem. Sometimes I will even have to use a magnifying glass, but is really easier than you think.
Where did you get the printer?
I have an Epilog laser. You could use a CNC or even hand carve with a chisel or an electric hand carver.
Love this!
Thank you!
Nicely done. They look great.
Thank you kindly
Great idea, they came out awesome!!
Glad you like them!
Beautiful work, what’s the name of the silicon mold you’re using ?
That looks like a form. The embedded level is pretty cool.
In this video, I use a Ahonui Artisans No Seal HDPE Reuseable Epoxy Resin Form 4.25" x 17". I like to cut the coasters. However, I also have a super thick and durable silicone coaster mold from Crafted Elements. Hope that helps.
😮
The Gecko is very cute!
Can you tell me what shelllac is used in this video? I am trying to colour fill engraved letters on a wooden sign without the top of the sign been painted. I want to use shellac & this seemed to work for in this video? Thanks
I used Bullseye Spray Shellac for this video. You can also brush on. If you are in a country that does not have shellac, you can still usually find natural shellac flakes and make your own. It is a lot cheaper and has less additives. Good luck.
cnc machine?
I used a laser but you could use a cnc or even hand carve. Pretty simple design.
Loved this thank you. Now I need to get some resin.
Have fun!
This is so BEAUTIFUL!!
Thank you!
DM us if your interested!
So what did you make?
Charcuterie Board
THANK YOU BEAUTIFUL
So Glad you liked it. I've been too busy to make more, but can't wait to do another one.
I can't wait to share all the projects that I am making with this! 😂
