Good video, I just followed the step and cleaned my cabin air filter. It is a little bit bitch to do, but it's not that hard. I didn't take 30 minutes, I took about 5-10 mins to do everything. What I noticed: You take down the glove box easily(you find the arm, push UP first, then pull out). you take down the screw UNDER the glovebox, take down the door(by pitching the part where you took down the screw first), and then take the old air filter out. Make sure you see the arrow of the airflow and keep it pointing down side, and push it in from UNDER the glovebox, try to find the correct angle is the key. after you push it all the way, you put back the door from ABOVE the glovebox. This step is tricky as you can't see the hook at the far end, I did was hook the near end first and try to level the door flat, so it can hook the thing, took me like 1 min. Then you put the screw backup under the glovebox, and pull the arm out BEFORE you put back your glove box, so it doesn't hide somewhere in between the box and the wall where you can't reach. push it in to the hold, and press down. You are good to go.

Yeah you forgot to mention that it’s easier to play pick-up-sticks with your butt cheeks than it is to get this filter in correctly. The factory filter was mashed in sideways before I got to it.

The cabin filter arrow should point towards the cabin. The reason why I say this is because I just got done doing an evaporator replacement job on this. And as I was pulling the box apart, the evaporator core sits right behind it. The evaporator does not suppose to have any debris to flow through it!!

Thanks for showing me how to do this. 0:34 "Using a T20 Torx drive." Dang it. They could have just used a phillips head. When I heard that, I thought that maybe I would just let Ford do it. Then I read the comments below that Ford charges over $200 for this. Dang it. So, I bought a T20 Torx driver from Amazon for $4.13, along with a Motorcraft FP78 cabin air filter for $24.96 (which is expensive by itself). Update: I canceled my order for the $24.96 Motorcraft filter and bought an EcoGard XC10590 Premium Cabin Air Filter "Fits Ford Mustang 2015-2020" for only $9.02. :)

Having a hard time getting that dampener arm back on this time for some reason.

Explains you need 7 mm socket for two bolts. Then it says "remove two screws" and then puts his arm in front of the camera assisting in not identifying the screw head type. (Later you can see it's Phillips) I hate to be critical but I used to assist in computer repair online. You had to leave step by step instructions or the job never got done properly. So if you're not prepared to be precise then you're just causing people to lose more time or break something. And reading in the comments regarding the "arrow direction" on the filter, filter arrows always indicate the flow of fluid (or in this case air) so you don't have air flowing out of your car through the filter...the air is coming in to your cabin so this video is correct in saying the arrow on the filter should point down.
