That’s a good question, I think notion would need to add support for the Touch Bar natively to the app in order for it to work. Given that the Touch Bar is discontinued, I highly doubt they’d add it unfortunately.

@@EnriquecPacheco No, the power button turns on the dock. They supply you with a DC power adapter (you also get a USB-C cable) that plugs into the dock to power it. You need to use the power button to turn the dock on to use it

M2 16gb, you will thank yourself a lot for giving yourself more RAM. M2 vs M3 there's no real difference, even M1 vs M3 is little to no difference. If you are using the Macbook for professional work I would try to get a MBP M2 though, the fans help a lot. Also recommend a 512gb/16gb config no matter what you're doing but 256gb/16gb MBA M2 should be more than okay for stuff like light gaming, browsing and video consumption. If you really need it you can just get an external drive/SSD to store stuff.

Ya I ended up getting a M3 Pro 16' w/ 36gb of ram and it works pretty good for everything that I want. I'm now looking at moving away from lightroom and in the next few weeks I will pay the outright cost to go over to Photomator as I was able to test that out for a week and it has everything that I want out of a editing software. I rarely use photoshop itself unless I'm doing something very specific but they have pixelmator which can do that stuff which is the big thing. Now I came from a gaming laptop that was hooked into my proart display, so going from PC to Mac was interesting to say the least not so much the learning curve that was easy but all the things I couldn't install haha. Otherwise the speakers and display have been nothing short of amazing and even the keyboard feels pretty good tbh.

BestBuy has a lot of Touchbar MacBooks still for sale. I know Facebook Marketplace can also be a good place to get Apple products at a good price. If you're interested in getting a Touchbar MacBook, I'd recommend getting an M1 13.3" MacBook Pro.

My point was if you already have an Intel Mac, and it performs adequately for your workflow, keep it and save some money and upgrade to Apple Silicon at a later date. Apple’s Refurbished Store is a great place to purchase Apple products, especially MacBooks. But currently they don’t sell any Intel MacBooks. You may find some used on third party marketplaces, but it won’t be worth it. If you’re in the market for a new MacBook, a good buy right now would be an M1 Air from Amazon - they have great deals on the older stock. Or get yourself a shiny M2 or M3 Air from Amazon, Apple, or even Apple’s Refurbished Store. @@pugboladao I completely get your point. The Apple Silicon MacBooks are far superior to the Intel ones, I can’t argue that. I actually recently upgraded to an M2 Pro MacBook Pro because my Intel MacBook couldn’t keep up with my workflow. (plan on getting a video up about my upgrade) My main point for this video is that if you don’t have to spend the money right away and your current computer is good enough for your work, hold off and save your money :)

For consumers I think it’s best we buy products and spend money on things that we use frequently, that make it worth it to buy😁 With all that said, I still use it for all the use cases mentioned in my video. Although I have to say when I do a quick car wash I don’t have time to use the scrubber haha🤣

I just received it as an early Christmas present when I saw it at Costco. And the main reason I wanted it was to be able to clean shower walls. The extendable attachment was my main reason. It’s well worth it. Especially for older people that have trouble scrubbing and reaching. I really liked your thorough review. I saw others that did not do a great job.

@@hazard5822 Unfortunately the app can’t limit charging when the MacBook is off, even if you buy a license. AlDente Pro does allow you to limit charging when the MacBook is in clamshell mode (laptop screen closed and using an external monitor and keyboard)

@@Discombonulatedsand Did you watch the video until the end?? The keyboard works fine, every key registers when pressed, and everything works as you’d expect a keyboard to. What I’d recommend is that you don’t buy a keyboard from Temu and instead, save your money and wait until you can afford to buy a better mechanical keyboard from a real reputable brand. Your experience will be immensely better.
