League Player Tries Every Dota 2 Hero: Bristleback
มุมมอง 2.1K14 วันที่ผ่านมา
I try Bristleback for the first time! First Impressions: Bristleback was honestly really fun to play and I now understand why I see so many bristlebacks just run into a full enemy team and somehow survive and kill the whole team. He feels like a spammer but its really funny to play him since you can just sneeze on people and that'll lower their armour. I will definitely be playing him some more...
League Player Tries Every Dota 2 Hero: Brewmaster

I try Brewmaster for the first time! I end up actually enjoying him a lot and I might end up adding him to my hero pool! Also since I didn't do a first impression talk at the end I will just do it here! I'm still sick so It's kind of hard to talk and understand me so I figured I'll just do it on here. Brewmaster seemed very complicated at first but once I went through all his abilities I kind o...

Baba Yaga Finds Three Idiots in Her Home!! II Pacify
90% of the time you should have a lvl 2 skill at lvl 3, makes you much weaker in lane to not have a strong spell
Hello my guy,,, what do you think about Dota so far compared to League?
Compared to league I think Dota is much more reliant on your knowledge on the game and the skill expression isn't as mandatory. I feel like in league you need to be really good mechanically to be able to win but in Dota if you know more about the heroes and macro then you will win with much less mechanical skill compared to league. I think in league you can easily carry each game by just being mechanically good but once you hit high elo is when macro starts to matter. I think in Dota, macro matters even in the lower elos so I feel like you need to really spend time studying the game to get better. I know theres a lot of debate on which one is better but to be honest I feel like you can't say one is better than the other because from what I have experienced the two games are way more different than I thought. There are of course similarities in the two games but I feel like you can't just say one is better than the other but I will say that depending on the person, they will enjoy one more than the other. For me personally, I can't say which one I like more because as a long time league player (since season 3), I honestly only play League when I am playing with friends nowadays compared to before where I would play the game everyday and I play Dota more because I want to learn the game and get better. Since I've already done the learning and getting better on League, I don't feel the want to play the game everyday. Dota has revived that feeling where I feel like playing and learning more on how to play the game everyday. I am thinking of doing a comparison video once I've gotten to experienced a little bit of ranked so I will be saying more of my in depth thoughts on that video (but since it is the holidays it will probably be around January that I make and upload that video)
31:20 oh no! sad news everyone... another Arc warden player is born...
Give up daddy play league
one tip i can share with you is they recently added the functionality of being able to see the cast range of spells/items ALL the time if you hold alt and right click on them. I spam dazzle so its really helpful to know the exact range of shallow grave to save people. Blink heroes like centaur also can get a lot of benefit from this, as blink dagger actually doesnt blink your character the max range it can go if you are just pressing it in the direction. its not much, only about 100 or so units... but that can make all the difference in games like dota.
Ahhh patay
In general, a bit too greedy with your builds. Almost no heroes will get Aghs that early. A cloak would give you a bit of useful magic resist (for your self damage) and a soul ring during laning will allow you to cast Q more often. Centaur farms jungle stacks fast, so you can get your blink a LOT faster.
"Oh patay!" That caught me off guard. 😂
@18:40 I would disagree. You guys have plenty of damage in the early game. It's just that you let Slark and Abaddon hit lvl6 without pressuring them enough (read their ults when you get the chance. You'll see why your lane presence basically dropped to 0 after that). Either way, good fundamentals as always. Just need raw games under your belt for the knowledge.
all those missed midas opportunities...
try timbersaw
Didnt know u were Filipino
Wa-wait... are you Filipino?!
maybe...
enemies starting to have some sense tbh :) gg
Next hero is Chen....
Chaos Knight den Chen but I am not excited for Chen ngl ahahah
bro forgot sniper during every fight and at the end... oh we're all dead
bro u actually a filipino?
Try to use dota2 pro tracker, for builds and facets. It shows you the win rate for every build and which is the best.
I used to play some fun Centaur combo's back in the day. Warlock is a good one, he can heal you to make up for the double edge damage, while tying the enemy laners together so both get damaged by it. Best one is oracle easily though, he can prevent the double edge from damaging you and can aid in bursting the enemies, few combo's can properly lane against that.
Bro spoke Tagalog!!!
Centaur warrunner w skill is the key to nuke it but cost is self dmg so need HP regen to counter that like heart and vanguard to recover hp
so you are filipino didnt know that
try combo with centaur aghs, with CM ulti. Nc thing about is CM can't be interrupted when she is in the cart.
cent is a really good iniatior with his global present of stampede you can gank or run away from fight, wiht long duration stun can pick a kill, high hp pool low armor tho, but he got a really good kit for farming with his 3rd and 2nd.
I've played dota on 2015 and I stop playing it for 7 years and continuing playing dota again and there's so many thing change after I find your video it's make me easy to learn it again thanks for all your video keep up bro 👍👍

Saying dota require less skill than league is just wild tho
I don't think its that wild when u consider League characters on average need more mechanical skill to operate compared to dota (not including outliers like Invoker,AW, or Meepo). Dota has way more point and click abilities and much less skillshots to worry about. Movement is not as important in Dota compared to league. Even when you watch pro play in Dota you see a lot of just standing around during fights and almost no movement if yk what I mean. if you compare that to a pro League game you see much more tricky movement and skillshots that seem to become point and clicks because of how good they are with it. If you still think that Dota 2 requires more mechanical skill feel free to respond! I really am curious as to why you think that
@@ThatEzDoe_Official I don't think you understand how big dota2 map is compared to league haha plus in dota you have turn{around} rate, insane amount of useable items ,spells have cast time etc , not to even mention all league of legends heros skills are just copy of dota hero skills . Last hitting is another story xD
@@diamonddust6615 I feel like u are mixing mechanical skill with knowledge ab the game. When I talk about mechanical skill I'm purely just talking about ur ability to use the hero. Items do not count, last hitting is universal, and map knowledge and macro doesn't. turn rate also causes movement to be really wonky and slow compared to league. Macro and Micro is not the same and also building the right items does not contribute to you being mechanically good at a hero. I'm simply just talking about how well can you use ur abilities, avoid abilities (which u cant cuz everything is point and click (it does the work for you lmao), and how good is your movement is. Dota 2 is definitely the harder game knowledge wise but there is no way that the mechanical ceiling or even the average mechanical skill of a dota 2 player is higher than a league player. Last example, you can't 1v9 in Dota 2 because anyone can stop u at any moment it literally helps you do that. In League you can 1v9 with pure mechanical skill. I just can't even see the average pro come close to an average league pros mechanics
soul ring also good with brood, u sacrifice some health to gain temporary mana, but with your regen from innate it's doable
Ah, the hubris. 12:13 15:37
This was insanely good gameplay for a first time BB player! Also your friend rant is funny lol. Yeah, drawing a line is just drawing a path, I personally try not tl be that vague, most of it was for Morphling tho. A tip I can give is dont sleep on Sange Yasha Kaya. They tend to give really good bonuses for cheap. For example Kaya amps the lifesteal from Bloodstone. Also when playing Bristleback be aware from Silver Edge(the Big Invisibility Sword) is the only item that can remove your passives.by applying break. Even with your Ult most of Bristleback damage comes from your quills and your back. Specially against newies. Enemies will kill themselves just by trying to kill you, it backfires hard for them. Specially when you have Bloodstone.
always give ur back with bb

In addition to the other comments about solutions to mana problems, you can switch your treads to intelligence before casting spells (increasing your max mana) to use less of your overall manapool, then switch back to your hero's primary attribute after casting to get the damage bonus back. I don't know if this has been commented before on other videos, but this is referred to as "tread switching" and is good to do on all heroes, not just broodmother. You can also switch to strength if you're low on HP and running away from enemies, and the extra health it gives you is sometimes the difference between surviving or dying. Well played and keep it up!
General tip, go soul ring on heroes that have enough hp for it but small mana pools. I hear you say "I should have gone arcane" when you first ran out of mana, but arcane does not help with your horrendous mana pool. Soul ring affectively increases your mana pool virtually by permitting a low cooldown health to mana exchange that affectively increases your mana pool during the short duration you have its active. Arcane boots does the same for you, but at a lower cooldown and your hero will build orchid anyways so the passive mana regen is not worth exchanging stats and attack speed from treads for an arcane boots
Better than Elisse
Brood is one of these heroes that changes a standard game simply by being there. She can be really powerful if she dominates the lane and the rest of her team plays around her properly, with all the space she creates, but if the team is ignorant then even dominating lane performances will not amount to much. I used to play a lot of Brood years ago, these days I do not touch her unless I am in a full team and know people have a clue about what to do in a Brood game.
you could switch your map to the other side like in League
Aside from the control groups for microing spiderlings and soul ring as a source of mana, a third tip that nobody has mentioned yet is that certain summons in Dota are worth a lot of gold. Throwing an army of spiderlings at an enemy hero that can waveclear them is a pretty hefty amount of gold you are feeding them. This is in contrast to League where there are rarely any summons that are worth that much. This is because many summons in Dota are FAR more spammable than in League and the gold bounty for killing them is a way to balance them. Also, you kinda see the point of Broodmother here. She can control the map like no other, but she doesn't have very much to offer in a teamfight compared to other traditional carries. The two biggest perks of Broodmother is that she can generate an army of summons that not every champion can necessarily deal with and that she is incredibly slippery and hard to stop when she is split pushing.
Idk why the whole thing with Gwan saying mate with sven is so british lol
Very good gameplay for a first time broodmother. Tips for a micro based hero: If you hold alt or control and then press a number key, you can assign the units you selected to that number key. For example, you can have your main hero on 1, summons on 2, and both on 3 or whatever. That way, you can quick select without having to drag your mouse. Also if you double click on a controlled summon you can select all of them on screen at once. And how dare you insult broodmother's looks. She's a hard working single mother of billions.
You should have gone soul ring first so you can spam ult
You have infinite amount of spiderlings so always use ult à
