@@JeffersonGutierez I'm sorry to hear that. I don't know how to do much with Vortex, never really liked using it so I uninstalled it immediately. The steps for proper install would be similar, but with a different interface. You install bodyslide and outfit studio, find a way to launch it within Vortex, then add outfit mods that add bodyslide shapes, run Bodyslide and build with your preset. I am not sure how to ensure the new files you create with Bodyslide are overwriting the other mods. I'm sure there is a way to sort load order just not sure where Bodyslide will output in Vortex. Hope any of this helps and good luck. If you can't find info on Vortex I do have a full tutorial installing and using Mod Organizer 2 if you decide to switch over. Feel free to ask any questions you might have and I'll try to help, but I don't have Vortex installed for specific stuff. Thanks for watching!

@@maricarpang669 The mod author should have packaged them in the proper folder heirarchy. If you open the original file you downloaded and it has a "meshes", "textures" or "tools" folder visible then it needs to go in the base "data" directory of FO4 when extracted. Generally though manually installing is frowned upon as its needlessly complicated and prone to issues down the line. Make sure to download these mods directly to the mod manager for an easier install. MO2 will tell you if the folders are incorrect while installing but I'm not sure about Vortex. I have little experience with Vortex and what little I have, was disappointing and frustrating. Let me know if this helps at all. Bottom line: use the mod manager to install the mods. It will keep your game folder cleaner and easier to manage in the long run! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Good luck and thanks for watching! :)

I'm sorry I completely missed your comment! If you haven't figured it out yet I am using a Mod Manager called Mod Organizer 2. Some people find Vortex easier to use. I have a full video tutorial on how to set up MO2 because it's a little more complicated. You can find the link in the description. @MaskedH Double check that you downloaded the Bodyslide version of your outfit. The slider data is contained within the outfit so without it there would be no sliders.

@MaskedH So the outfit is showing up in the drop down in bodyslide but with no sliders when selected? Only thing I can think of is that bodyslide, or cbbe are installed in the wrong folder. You are doing it through MO2 or Vortex? You are launching bodyslide through the mod manager correct?

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues. Do you mean that you have ran bodyslide, built the meshes, but they won't show up in game? Or is Bodyslide not loading correctly?

Yeah the Vtaw outfits are rather complicated but super detailed and designed to mix and match with each other. Sadly without modification they work best with Vtaw's own body preset so with mine there has to be some adjustments. My personal preset isn't the one in the video but the steps are the same whether it's a little off, or a lot. Thanks for watching! :)

I'm sorry to hear that! I never used the in game modding because when I started modding it didn't exist! @@poligon333 Yeah, I know Bethesda.net has mods as well. There are other sites too but Nexus and Bethesda have the most publicity so they end up with the most users and mods.

I'm sorry man I just checked on the TH-cam studio app and saw a bunch of comments youtube never notified me of. I hope you found the answer to your problem somewhere else but it saddens me that you were struggling and I had no idea. If you are still trying to figure it out: What mod manager are you using? I presume MO2 because you were referring to the Bodyslide Output from the video. Did you make sure to run bodyslide inside the mod manager? Otherwise it would output directly to your game folder.

I am not familiar with Ikaros but yes, you can go either way with bodyslide. You can go big, small, or anything in between. Once you set bodyslide up you can move up and down on each slider to see what they specifically do until you find the shape you prefer (or whatever feels most immersive). Make sure to save your own preset once you have done all the hard work so you can apply it to every other outfit easily. Any more questions, feel free to ask! Thanks for watching. :) Edit: APOLOGIES. It could be, but it also could be a few missing lines in you fallout4.ini or fallout4custom.ini. For whatever reason even with a fresh install of fo4 and mod organizer I didn't need to add the lines like they were automatically added, but several others have had to for the changes to be seen in game. I am away from my computer but off hand it was something like binvalidatearchives=1 or some such gibberish that essentially tells fallout to prioritize the loose files you have in your mod organizer folder over the original game archives. Google search "modding fallout 4 ini edits" and you should find it. If not let me know and when I get back to my computer I'll get you the exact lines. I may also have put them in a reply somewhere in this comment section or in my older bodyslide video if you don't mind searching a little. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for watching!

I don't know, I have no experience with these things, people say it's "easy" but it's only easy for those who know how to handle these things. I'll just have to accept it with the game's vanilla body💀 if there's an easier way let me know. So I am using a modified curvy preset ported from my Skyrim game. For whatever reason the curvy preset in CBBE for fo4 is much less curvy than the one in Skyrim so I copied it over after making a few tweaks. If you like I can upload it to Nexus when I get a chance and link it for you. Or if you jump in my discord I might be able to upload it a little sooner when I get back to my computer. @@VESIAvaire I would love to help out or make a video when I get a chance. If you are at all familiar with Outfit Studio essentially you have to import the base body (reference) that has the physics and then copy bone weights to the outfit and save it. It's not super complicated but if you have no experience with outfit studio you might have a little trouble. get their reference ID number by typing for example "help cait 4" Once you get the ref ID type slm and the number. It will put you in character creation for that NPC specifically. Edit their body and face from there as you would your own character.

@@shaunthom That's a fair point. I never had issues personally other than having to manually rearrange some, but I have heard plenty of others that needed the latest version of LOOT. I wonder if there is a way to manually update the integrated MO2 version. Good advice regardless if you have a mid or larger mod list. Thanks for watching!

@@OrionDakota I guess it’s because I usually have a mod list of around 1600 mods. You are on to something though. There has to be a way to incorporate the latest LOOT version to MO2. Oh and when I say 1600 mods I’m referring to Skyrim. With FO4 I do only have about 80 mods.
