A sturdy tripod ensures stable shots, making a huge difference in both photography and video work. An external recorder captures higher-quality footage, giving you more control in post-production. Good audio equipment is essential-bad sound can ruin even the best visuals....

I'm still on a 5d mk3 🤣
I’m a landscape photographer and I swear by my R5 for that, someone correctly said if you master your tools you get amazing results
I start to follow a really like your pictures would you able to help me o do a video for the best white balance for out doors pictures Which balance es better for out doors thanks 🙏
you have such a soothing voice
Great video, learnt a lot from this
Glad it was helpful!
I'm planning to start a new media company in Lagos Nigeria, I'm currently registering the business. Do you have any advice for me
great work and teacher
Many many thanks, happy you watched!
I do agree on what you point, but, for curtain things we need technology to make our work easier. Shooting weeding with faces registration recognition , or even sport events with AI tracking players with ball makes things easier. We do need additional options, however, all that can be implemented over the firmware, but in stead, they build new gear for us to pay and use that kind of ,,firmware" :)
Absolutely, but that's the point when you've "outgrown your gear" so upgrading is the next logical step. But I will say that I know Canon is pretty decent at implementing incremental upgrades via firmware.
Your glasses don't set right on your face , there super crooked .they must be bent.
Thanks for watching, but tbh maybe my glasses weren't fully pushed down and resting on my ears appropriately. I'll keep that in mind the next time I film.
glad to know it’s not weird to be stressed😭😭gonna go shoot for my first party and i usually do sports photography
Deux facouchair
Thank you for watching
👏
Thank you for watching.
Zuck's trap door to the Meta walled garden. These glasses don't allow you to use your preferred apps (which are already on your phone) the Meta-View app leaves Zuck as your app broker.
It definitely seems like they're trying to bring their services in their own platform.
Did you crush all your business goals in 2024?
you are spot on, I've been shooting professionally as a photographer for 30 years i own multiple cameras from film to digital i still love my old 5 D mark II and i also have the EOS R5, when i post portrait's I've done with the Mark II i get a lot of people saying wow that EOS R5 takes amazing photos lol they are blown away when i tell them that photo was taken with the old Mark II! A camera is a tool and that's all it is and if you master that tool, you're going to get amazing results
Absolutely true, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, and if the 5D Mk 2, is still making you money and booking you clients, then that's all that matters.
"Keeping up with the Joneses" was the perfect way to describe it.
It absolutely feels that way sometimes!
You been a good boy so Santa sent you a camera for Christmas haha, enjoy your new toy
You got that right!
@@Rbsmediaproductions Haha enjoy... I went out just the other night with my old Canon 6D and captured star trail over a pool with a waterfall it came out great but also I had to use some lighting but it's still a great camera for it's age and built like a tank but also weighs like one, I have just sent for the Canon R6II with the EF adapter so waiting for it to arrive so a new toy to get used to.
Thanks for the honest review
Thank you for watching!
What did y'all think about the Canon R5 when it first dropped?
I remember when the original R5 dropped every TH-camr did nothing but b**** and moan about it. I got mine and it was an upgrade from the Canon EOS R with nothing but huge improvements. I really think canon knocked it out of the park with the R5. I also own the RP , the R7 , the R8, the R6 Mark 2 and just recently bought a second Canon R5 with five batteries and a cage for $1,800. It only had 12,000 shutter actuations on it. Mint condition. I got one connected to my 500 mm F4 and the other one connected to my RF 100 to 500 . I use all my other cameras for video. I just made a video last week explaining why if you got $2,000 get the R5 over something like the R6 Mark 2 because it's a better Workhorse. Love the content. I Subbed
Canon makes a camera without compromises challenge: impossible
Makes absolutely no sense! I would assume that they don't want to cannibalize their other cinema cameras.
Which super 35 lens did you use on that park bench shot?
Thanks for watching, but I actually only used Canon's 15-35mm f/2.8 RF.
@@Rbsmediaproductionswilld I thought there was heavy vignette but on rewatch it must have been my phone. Fyi I been testing my c80 with 1 tb v60 sandisk and it runs everything with no issues.
You're crazy. The ai is insanely awesome. Being able to look at anything and get info about it on the spot. Limitless use for that. They even got active live visual ai coming where they'll see what you're looking at actively, not still shot, and answer your questions. Like I'm a mobile patrol security guard. My job is to drive around 40+ properties each night looking for graffiti, vandalism, homeless campsrs etc I'll be able to say "hey meta, I'm doing a security guard patrol around this property. Let me know if you see anything I can report." And it will inform me if it notices a pole light out or anything else . That's just one small off top of my head example. You're insane calling ai gimmicky
Thanks for watching! I believe that the AI is intuitive. I mentioned that other companies tend to throw in AI in their products, and THOSE specific cases are half-baked. However these glasses did a very good job in it's implementation. I didn't deduct points because of the AI though, my problems with these glasses are based off of the design issues with recording limits, video specs, and memory storage.
@rbstudiosphotography oh ok I was kind of busy while watching but just thought I heard you saying everything was good except the ai, ai on it is just a gimmick. My bad lol sorry for being so passionately against ai as a gimmick haha.
i just got the glasses and i love them tbh
Enjoy them! They aren't bad at all, there's just some design choices that stop if from being perfect.
I need to book you! ❤
Whenever you're ready!
I was expecting an asian dude but you're cool too!
Hahaha thank you, I appreciate you for watching lol, and nope no Asian in my heritage
wtf?!
@ the thumbnail threw me off
Planning to get mine tomorrow!!
I hope you enjoy it for real!
It should be landscape option on the camera. I use it mostly for the AI features which are pretty good. The translation features are cool.
There should absolutely be an option for landscape. But I think these issues will get ironed out in the next iteration for sure.
It's a real shame the video is only in portrait mode. As a TH-camr, I need landscape orientation. But I think it is because this is a Meta product and Instagram is viewed only in portrait mode while over 80% of FaceBook users only access it via their smartphones.
Honestly the landscape orientation would be a bonus. But I'm still unsure why the portrait orientation is only in 3:4. And this forces you to crop in if you're trying to make an Instagram Reel out of it. It's definitely not a deal breaker, is just a somewhat perplexing design choice.
I liked you honest opinion, the 32 gigs is not a problem cause you can transfered it to your phone, portrait mode is a must, battery life could be longer, I think for older people and visually impaired people these are a game changer. It is able tell the wearer what they are looking at, or read/translate what they are looking at. I don't think these were intended to be a primary camera, just taking quick snaps and videos, when you can't pull out the phone quick enough. And of course the next iteration will be better, but you got to jump on that train sometime right?
I fully agree with you, there are definitely benefits to having these glasses for sure. I found the most use out of them when I was hanging out with my family and I was able to get some quick shots of us all together.
The blue video is better than green one ......
I appreciate you. Thanks for watching.
Nice video
Thanks for watching! I'm happy you enjoyed!
For use as an insta-camera it is great. I believe the cons you described are valid. Probably a marketing decision to not fix/update the cons. More money to be spent on the next version. Following in Apples footsteps with incremental updates.
It's definitely a trend in the tech industry to prioritize the next big release instead of fully ironing out the kinks in the current generation. Which is highly frustrating to the users that decided to invest in the technology in the first place.
great video! showed it perfectly
Glad you liked it!
Impressive video, RB Studios Photography. Looking forward to your next upload. I smashed the thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the fantastic work! Your insights on the Pomodoro method and creating effective systems really resonate. Have you considered how automation tools might further enhance productivity in a creative workflow?
Thanks for watching, I appreciate that. And I definitely need to look more into automation tools to improve my workflow.
Stumbled on this video when researching about monopods. Thank you for making this video. Besides, is that a Ghanaian last name? I like it.
It's an awesome monopod, you should definitely scoop it up! And it absolutely is a Ghanaian last name.
Your best pro advice: keep it simple. Thank you, brother, for a great reminder.
That's my motto, I always try and keep things as simple as possible. I found myself getting too stressed out when I began to overcomplicate things.
Good morning, what model of flash did you use? Did you bounce the flash or did you use it in the octabox, gracias im from Tijuana Baja California México, saludos...
I use godox/flashpoint lights. Excellent quality, and they get the job done consistently. And I typically just bounce flash because I want to have a smaller footprint. Rigging up an soft box is too cumbersome sometimes.
Great video!
Thank you for watching!
Muchas gracias.
Thank you for watching!
I'm really happy that you found something you love bro, it really is a beautiful thing!
I've been enjoying this business quite a bit brother!
Fire review bro 🔥, this camera seems dope, good stuff!
Thanks! It's an awesome camera, I highly suggest you scooping one up if it fits your needs!
all the best man!
I appreciate you for watching!
THANK you for sharing bruh, good luck on your journey!! I agree with not having a niche because it really locks you into 1 thing, and, for me, I'd rather the slow growth and ppl stick around vs. transactional viewers, ppl that are looking for 1 thing, and once you give it to them, they're out!! 💯🫡
Thank you for watching and I appreciate the kind words! It's all about the slow growth and slowly improving your skills for me.
💥💥💥
Thanks for watching!
Funny enough, I’ve worked in this venue earlier this year. Tight area when you walk in but you can make it work.
Yeah the venue is a little tight, but you can definitely get some awesome shots if you get creative with it!
I'm just starting out. I have been told I have "an eye" for photography. I got the lumix g95. I am fixing to shoot fixing to shoot my first gig. Like you said, nervous! It's weeks away and I'm looking for poses and affordable accessories i can use. I don't have everything i saw in your video, but I'm not expected too either. Thanks for sharing!
You're going to do great! Take your time and know the schedule of the day. Make sure you know times and all of that. And know your gear in and out!
I keep the traditional Monopod, not feet for shooting wildlife in the trunk of the car. I thought about getting the model with feet but knowing me I'll get to comfortable and walk away with from it. And they are good for walking assist when hiking in the woods. Also congratulations on your new studio in Linden. Spent my teenage years there graduated from the HS, the town came a long way from the 80s when I was living there.
That Cobra 3 monopod really is nice though! I highly recommend it. And unfortunately I haven't scooped up the spot in Linden, I'm still looking unfortunately 😞
Hi, curious, how long is the battery life with an extended battery?
When I had the larger extended battery, I was able to get approximately 244 minutes of run time before the battery depleted. I hope this helps!
@@Rbsmediaproductions great when we are on trip mostly we start in morning and back at night in that case I hope we need two larger battery to cover whole day. Thanks for your reply.
@@doesnt-matter It's USB-C so you can also charge in between shooting with a portable battery pack / power bank.
Great review!! I’ve been wanting to scoop this up
I can't stress this enough, this is one of my favorite things to bring with me on any shoot, it truly changed the game!
Love your video style man.
I appreciate that! I am always trying to improve myself and make better and better videos, thank you for tuning in!
