Rippin Eureka on the north side of the Glenn with my bro Seth. Both the 25s treated us well this week. Thank you ski-doo for the most amazing sled I have ever ridden. I love the 146 turbo. It is by far the funnest and most capable sled on the market.

Picking up my new 2025 Ski-Doo Freeride from AMDS in Anchorage, AK. The new Freeride has a few very significant changes. Stiffer suspension, rack steering, and the new skis will help make the Freeride easier to ride like a pro. I opted for the 146 with a turbo R motor again. This motor and clutch setup was totally bulletproof and will continue to be, especially with HD updated rollers in the se...

Why no vid of the sled falling off the deck?
I told you guys I didn’t notice for a couple minutes 😂
I thought it was hard packed there bruh
It’s pretty froze up now
How was it dude
I had fun! I won’t be going back tho!
Can you get into squirrel from whitter?
To my knowledge you can access; squirrel, Grandview, and even Nelly Juan. I would not personally try without guys who have done it before.
Also gotta bring a lot of gas
@@nikpahno Grandview is fun run from whitter when the weather is good.
Sheep dip and a crown, on point anytime!
Pumping out the vids daily thats sick. Stuck out here in Bethel couple more weeks!
Trying my best to keep up with the daily grind!! 🙏🏼 stay tuned for Valdez this Thursday- weekend
Admin Clint Greathouse here… and I approve this message 🤘😎
this is my favorite kind of riding... just a barred out pow day in the trees, flat light, and runnin circles around my stuck buddies
TREES ARE FOR TRACTION
"DPLB!"
@@vdzrussell DP in CCLB I go DP in SCLB
Fuck buddy the snow up here in the interior is so wet and mushy. Fun to ride but challenging conditions for sure. I love swamp bashing on days like this 🤙🏻
at one point someone said, 'too wet' . what are the pros and cons of heavy & wet? I'd have thought heavy would give you better traction and float.
During spring time the wetter heavy snow gives you better traction because it’s all settled and more compacted, early and mid season wet heavy snow is no good, you sink into it and it compacts in front of you stopping you dead. It’s called mashed potatoes
@@MichaelGillen-if1nr with the cold coming in this week, will all the mashed potatoes end up being great base for the rest of the season?
We were fortunate because the wet snow allowed us to make trails to get around in. Powder woulda been rough, especially limping out Jeff’s rig.
@@BlitzAlaskaI think it will, there’s probably some magic combination of circumstances where it wouldn’t, but most likely made a great base when temps dropped
Let’s goooooooooooo
Head in across the street and straight back taking off from Gunsight. Follow the valley around to the backside of the mountains pretty sick back in there.

How did you remove the grab bar and replace with the bar pad if the grab bar is attached to the riser top mount?
@@blood_rustTV it looks like it part of the top clamp but it actually just comes right off. Unscrew those torx and it will fall out.
@@blood_rustTV first thing I do is toss the rookie handle and replace with something soft to hit my face on 🤣🤣
@ Thanks i have 24 freeride turbo 146, come from moto background and know the feeling of slamming my chest/face into the bars
Do you think this season has been warmer than average so far in Alaska?
@@namelesskat4814 IMO This happens every 3-4 years, it’s not uncommon to see a winter like this. Everyone has their own opinion, Turnagain Pass didn’t even open I think it was 2014. We all get short memories after being spoiled a couple years in a row. This is my opinion. I don’t think G.W. exists.
@@nikpahno Alright, thanks for the quick reply. I was just thinking temps seemed kinda warm for the latitude, but I guess that could be maritime climate or/and a bad season. I do think man-made G.W. might exist but it's massively overstated. Does Alaska have any access roads to get to higher elevations (4,000+ ft)? Or are you basically screwed if some warm air comes and melts the snow at lower elevations? Also I like your videos, It seems that there aren't many snowmobiling channels in Alaska that post a lot. maybe I havent looked enough
I always loved riding it, Eureka
But there’s lots of stumps and rocks there if they ain’t got enough snow that’s the only downfall
@@rods907 that was my first time, lucky enough to only find the tips of alders!! Shaping up pretty good for another ride there right now!
Waiting for ya'll to get a nice track launch off a stump lol🔥🤘
@@TruckHouseLife 🤣🤣🤣 that is why we skipped the first dump in Eureka. I have heard enough horror stories to wait an extra storm.

The 858 is a POS. The motor blew up at 64 miles.😂😂😂😂🎯💯
Oh gosh here come the comments 🤣🤣
And I rode with a 9R and a 850 last season that blew up with less than 30 miles on them…they all have lemons guy😂
Remember the skidoo 850s when they came out? Haven’t heard of a denied warranty claim on an engine once yet. Most dealers have new engines in there in 2 days.
@ I don’t think I paid 25 grand for it to be in the shop. 🤦♂️🤦♂️💯🎯🤔🤔 just my thought
🔥
🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Love the old revs
Can you tell me where that ice cave is please?
There's huge gains to be made by belt having proper belt adjustment. You want to turn the belt backwards by hand through the clutches while adjusting the secondary what's the belt starts to tighten up then tighten the nut on the secondary just a bit so that it's can still move freely through the secondary clutch that ensures that the primary clutch engages as close to the bottom as possible basically starting the sled off in a low gear giving you the most torque improper use of clutching you are also now get proper back shifting
@7:20 kick a$$! BTW Tsaina glacier, Girlz Mountain all great places!
No chicken choking clips?!? Was pretty sick to see you out there flipping

@@TruckHouseLife Hey, thanks for dropping in! Love your content my fellow Alaskan. Stay safe on those roads, God bless.
Nice work, son!
Rad Sled - Rad Dude and Rad Dealership!!!
15" wide is so much better. But, most people dont need all the extra weight or dollars Doo added to Freerides for '25. Especially if you're putting on your own shocks. Expert with a 15" track and without the uselesss screen would be the move if they offered it
how can it be black color ? its only made in yellow year 2025 ?
You can get black if you get the turbo
Sick sled 🤘 cant wait for more content this season you’re a beast!!!
I have 16" wide challenger going into my 2025 146" turbo! It definately gives flotation for the 146 it needs for the deep days. I would also recommend to gear it down from 22 top sprocket to 21.
@@AnttiEira are you getting more or less speed from gearing down?
@ it builds up track speed faster, better throttle responsw. Theoretically top speed is lower, but we have the limiter at 125kmh anyways so it doesnt matter. It also doubles belt life
Make sure to check coolant, everyone who I know got a 25 from Amds this year didn’t come with coolant which they said should of been done from factory
@@DaFcknPope I have heard of some sleds acting weird and showing full then showing low after running at first break in.
@nikpahno nah I had 4 coworkers who had to actually bring it back in amds, they had to pressure check them because they did in fsct not have any coolant. Amds claimed that it should come filled from factory but that it shouldn't of been missed by them either way and immediately had them bring it back in...overall not a big deal and they fixed it fast but always better to double check
Awsome sled HYPE MAN!!! I think you have rode with my uncle Chris Yelverton
I forgot to mention the rack steering. Looking forward to it myself. Steve Martain said it’s great for soaking up landings and handling.
Should have updated drivers as well
@ what’s going on with your drivers?
@nikpahno the 2025s have larger diameter teeth on the drivers to hopefully prevent track ratchet for the turbos. Sick sled dude, hopefully our winter turns around and we get some snow.
