Can These Functions REALLY Be Equal?!
Have you wondered why on calc problems like limits, people say that sin x = x? Numerical approximations have many applications and while this claim may seem untrue, the Taylor Series for sin x, centered at 0, demonstrates why x is a good approximation for really small values of x! This is a fun calculus problem where by taking the first derivative, second and more, we can construct the Taylor series to approximate any function we want!
