TBH every time a new movie or show comes put it can't balance out the genders but MHA has strong boys like kirishima and strong women like urakaka
My theory is that his dad left after hearing deku didn’t have a quirk
I love this type of content and MHA appreciation definitely got me subbed
I like Makima
Hawk saved millions of innocent lives and if you save millions of innocent lives even if it was done through deceit and let's also consider the possibility that may be behind the scenes he was trying to get the other person to see his bad ways
👍
Kirishima scored only 3 points less than Bakugo in the UA entrance exams bc he helped others which was a very manly thing to do.
Kirishima Looks Like Leon Kuwata
I'm a history nerd and I'm trying to find videos about the Japanese ww2 battle ship kirishima but this gosh darn anime is the only thing that comes up like you'd think there would be more videos that explain the story of the kirishima and the guadalancanal campaign given that it was involved in one of only 2 battle ship to battle ship engagements in the Pacific theatre in ww2 when the kirishima engaged with 2 American battleships the USS Washington and the USS south dakota 😭😭😭😭
Fr I’m the best ❤
Guys, look at where the subscibe button is pointing at the end😅
Step one - be a hot girl Step two - have more than two braincells
I'm surprised you don't have more views and subs because this is one of the best videos I've seen on the topic of ego. Years ago I was like the autistic kid you described in the story, I am autistic myself and I was an easy target who had low self esteem, because I believed what society says about a large ego = bad and annoying. Eventually I realized that I'm going to annoy people no matter what with my autism so I'd rather have a lot of confidence in my abilities than wallow in self pity. Now I am working to graduate college and go into a field that I love and be the best in that field, people will still try and bring me down because they view my ego as bad and want to bring me down to their level, but I always will try and stick up for myself and outperform them in the end.
can you link your sources, would be nice to be able to read up on the topic

Sasisan is ABSOLUTELY an anime
"Unmatched athleticism" Winston Wheeler: Hold my gun.
Yup, closer to movies, further from cartoons is exactly where the anime is being placed. AND produced in Japan. I.E., Avatar Aang of Netflix is horrendous, he is just too stupid to be counted seriously. On the other hand the only thing is missed in Avatar Korra to be anime is a country where it was created.
Btw on a stop screen of the video Avatar Aang is not an anime (like it should be), and in a video you are claiming that it is anime.
What about the kishotenketsu structure? This structure gives anime, manga and Japanese games this feeling that no other entertainment product came close to reciprocating. What are anyone's thoughts on it?
Anime has some conventions in the way animation is done to make it optimaly smooth while reducing workload in less dynamic or important scenes. My 2 cent
That's no chair! That's a STOOL! /j Jokes aside, that actually played in nicely to definitions being slippery, and in these cases being more about "feel". This also reminded me of another video I saw a good few years ago talking about the definition of anime, that concluded it's an art movement
Actually, it’s a side table! haha. But yeah definitely hard to define art, especially since it’s constantly innovating :)
Any work of art can convey ideas, lessons or other moral arguments. Not exlcusively anime, I find anime to be exceptionally poor at conveying worthile lessons especially when compared to other media like movies, books, music and even video games. Each of these immerses you into an experience to a much greater level than anime. And all this is even worse compared to learning from history, or the experiences and the wisdom of others. Folktales also had an Informative and sometimes authortative role in human history, informative does fit with anime but I absolutely can not reccomend letting anime have any authority over your actions and morality. At the end of the day, they are still made for entertainment and while it is true that some works of anime are intensly deep and will have valuable lessons as well as a profound impact on a person, those are exceedingly rare if compared to other works, even within the entertainment idustry. You could argue 'Then I would simply watch only the anime that is worthwhile'. But how would you distinguish between what is meant as a psycholically educative anime from one that has no real life applicable informative value? In conclusion, please only watch anime as a form of entertainment, there is nothing wrong with simply entertaining yourself. As is said by John Wanamaker: 'People who cannot find time for recreation are obliged sooner or later to find time for illness.' Please entertain yourselves responsibly, and don't start taking lessons from isekai.
++ Also don’t take lessons from power fantasies!
Do people really think the only animated shows that can be serious and have transformative topics are anime? Isn't it more representative of the bias you have towards anime and how you barely watch other shows in comparison? I don't see tons of people calling The Owl House an anime, or Gravity Falls, or Amphibia, or Invincible... And yet they are WAY more transformative and complex than most popular animes out there. I'm sorry this video is just weird to me and I do not like the snob attitude coming from the function chosen to attribute to anime. Embodied cognition is great tho, thanks for teaching me that!
Also shit like In another world with my smartphone isn't what I would call transformative and 'deep', still anime though.
This video is so amazing!!!!
What Message/Meaning is behind Nichijou? What is the message behind Asobi Asobase? whats the Message behind Gintama (talking about the majority of the Anime in which there is no plot, i know later on there is one)? I am sure someone finds a meaning in these, but for Anime is often (not always) about watching a show WITHOUT a big Meaning and Interpretation behind it, thats also the reason why I dont like Eva. I still love stuff with meaning, like a silent voice, but the message behind it is way more obvious. For me Anime is mainly the artstyle, the eyes, the animation, the excessive display of emotion. Panty & Stocking is anime to me because of the style, same as Avatar. And in the End it absoutely doesnt matter what you call it, as long as you like it. I will often call Avatar as some kind of anime, even if it isnt by the real definition. But on the other hand many Anime fans have seen Avatar and loved it, but just a few Anime Fans watched Family Guy really as a series for example and not only for some short funny moments. great video anyways, keep it up
every single episode of Gintama has a moral, i’m not sure if that was a great example. even the episode titles are related to the concept introduced in the episode
@@kenshin-dp9pc maybe i need to check it again now that i am older. But as i said, i dont enjoy stuff because of the deep message, and for me Gintama is a good laugh but for the most part not something deep, atleast not something deep to think alot about. Gintama has maybe moral at the end, but just stereotypical things, like "the heart ist the thing that matters and not the outside" its still a funny anime, dont get me wrong :P but for me its not a message which defines anime, but for some other people it may be.
Interesting underrated topic actually
for me it was always how cartoons vs anime tell there story for example a long anime takes like 24 episodes to finish a entire concise arc while also focusing more on something happing in the world and less the characters but in cartoons it usually takes a couple of seasons to get any piece of story ( if there is any) and it has a focus more on the characters than the world
very glad i was here before you hit 1mil
I'm only going off the thumbnail, didn't watch the video, avatar isn't ann anime, BECASUE anime just means Japanese animation, and it wasn't made in Japan, it just had good animation that Americans are starved of
Great video very thoughtful
People don't really reccomend sazae and doreamon. The reason is because both are kid show, and is more tame than other anime. But cutie honey, that is less tame in rating. I think is anime changes based on which audience you make it. Lain is crazy, is complex, which is not suited for little kids, and can confuse or bore them. Though Doraemon and Sazae aren't for teens/adults, they still resonate with me, cus I grew up with it. I can call doraemon anime, because it has emotional movie's. But some won't feel that way. It's age rating. That's why they say "that's not the animes I'm talking about."
i feel like a war of whether avatar is an anime or not MIGHT come back lol
thank you for helping me see the value in anime, sometimes i feel we're getting lost and further from reality when we should really be learning from each other and real life experiences. but anime almost functions like a folktale with a more deeply interwoven 'lifestyle' esq message rather than one or two simple moral teachings. they function almost close to a religious text with the message being woven through a story rather than just in a punchline or ending. i would like it if more anime got to the point a bit faster though. there's often a lot of rubbish between the nuggets. so far ghibli, one piece and one punch are my favs... not much else has really struck me like they did. beserk defo had an impact but yeah....not sure how to compartmentalise that one... if you have any suggestions of 'life changing' or 'perspective shifting' anime or manga please let me know!
vinland saga, psycho-pass, attack on titan, death parade all are perspective changing anime i’d recommend

While I completely get your argument, I find it hard to agree with. Rather than believing that there is a distinction to be made between what "feels" like anime and what doesn't, I think it's different for everyone and depends mainly on "exposure". By "exposure" I don't mean to watch a lot of anime and hence develop a "feeling" for it, but rather to watch "anime" (or non-japanese cartoons for that matter) under the consious pretense of currently watching anime. An example: When I first started watching anime, I was - and still am - watching them in japanese. Over time the impression "anime is japanese cartoons" settled in. Now, wether it's oshiri tantei, elfenlied, slime tensei datta ken, or other anime, I believe - "feel" - that they are anime. But as soon as I change the language, that subconscious belief changes. I strongly notice it with non-japanese cartoons, but the effect shows even when I accidentally choose the wrong dub on an actual anime. To sum it up: We are influenced in our belief of what "anime" is by the way we are watching what we are told by someone (or tought by experience) "real" anime are. It goes to say that I feel no one's opinion on anime is wrong for being different than mine or the mainstream, they are all just different experiences of the same thing.
HES TOO MANLY 😭😭😭😭❤️❤️
