Shuffle now is also fun way to disrupt any attempt to see/alter the future, since you can invalidate any information they just tried to get (even better when they attempt to line up a self attack stack) but that’s not really a defensive tactic.

Haha! First off, I can definitely relate to what you’re saying. My friends and I almost always win by slaying monsters, because we’re always destroying each other’s heroes. That said, I can see how it depends on the group you’re playing with. The strategy of the game changes quite a bit depending on how you try to win. If everyone at the table is big on sabotage (like my group), then slaying monsters is much easier compared to gaining classes (which always turns into a blood bath). You’re right in that it would definitely be op! The rule for the Godcat card is that it becomes whatever card you want it to be (except a Nope) when it’s discarded. This means that it only activates when it’s played. That said, there’s nothing you could do to stop someone from stealing it, except use another Nope card in your hand. According to the rulebook of the Streaking Kitten expansion pack: "A blind player cannot look at any of their cards until they *successfully* draw a card. If you draw an Exploding Kitten, that does not count as successfully drawing a card. After successfully defusing the Exploding Kitten, you can return to non-blind play." Hence, you must blindly play cards until you defuse the Exploding Kitten before becoming unblind.

​@@Mr.Kiing._ im going off the base game but looked at both the imploding kittens and party pack instructions and it looks like yes they do stack like that. i think for the sake of my sanity though i will adhere to the base game rules cause me i initially stated it added up to 4 and it caused a controversy amongst my stubborn friend who would not stop insiting it was 3 turns and not 4 when an attack was played on an attack

The Attack cards have always been more brutal than people realize! Just take a look at the “Attack of the Dead” card from Zombie Kittens. It adds three turns for EVERY dead player in the game! That could hit double digits. Attack cards are op and I love it.

That’s a great observation! I actually have no clue. Exploding Kittens is notorious for “updating” their card abilities and artwork. We’ll have to add that one to the list!

Haha! I enjoy a good pun. It’s really interesting! They’ve got ever so slight lines on them, so that they feel less like slick UNO cards and more like textured Exploding Kitten cards.

Great question! They’re similar to the original UNO cards: a layer of plastic, but not quite as durable as the Bicycle cards. Hopefully this helps!
