I feel what your feeling girl. I graduated college in the Spring of 2022. Lived with my parents for the summer, was hoping to get an Agriculture job because that's what I went to school for, but my mom told me, to stay home because of how crazy the world is and inflation screw everyone's life up. I've had to learn how to live with my family and work on the family farm, but I have dreams of someday being independent, living and working elsewhere. Why, don't you make that comment to the rest of the Agriculture world see how you feel when your not getting fed, clothed or drunk again. We don't just study cows, plows and sows. We got to study crops, soil and water management, the marketing of crops and livestock, agribusiness and how to run GPS applications. It makes me crazy, I feel for young people. I actually graduated back in the 90s (yeah, generation X), even back then a college degree didn't give you the keys to the middle class job market kingdom. If you tell young people "don't get a marketing degree because most people don't jobs with that degree" then you come across as stepping on their dreams. If you don't tell them the the above and they get the marketing degree (or whatever) and they don't get a job ever...then you're basically perpetuating the college hoax. Not sure what the answer is.

I just wanted to chime in, even though this video is old. SAME. Graduated with a degree in sociology and a minor in statistics. Did a couple of research projects to build my portfolio and presented at a conference in undergrad. All of my networking didn’t do much, as I have been rejected/ghosted from over 300 jobs. I can’t count how many cover letters, resumes, interviews, and assessments I’ve done. So much time, so much work, with nothing to show for it. I work at Starbucks making minimum wage, and another co worker graduated with a business management degree 2 years ago. So at least I’m not alone :/ I’m probably just going to join a union and learn a trade.

In 2019 I had false expectations for my first full time job. As an engineer I directly applied for jobs which required at least 3 years of full time job experience. Until then I only worked as a so called working student. Later I realized that there were suitable jobs for beginners which included a graduate trainee or young professional phase for the first 6 months. It was a training phase where you took lessons from employees and later on participated in their daily business routine. You have to search for jobs like these in order to get started as a professional.

so i'm definitely not an experienced cat owner, my cat recently died at the pretty young age of 6, but here's one thing that may reassure you. i'm sure you've heard many people on the internet saying you're not supposed to feed your cat dry food and instead just give them meat and wet food, however, i would disagree. yes, cats are carnivores but as long as their diet is mostly meat, it's completely fine. and yes wet food provides moisture that your cat can't get from dry food, so just make sure they're drinking enough water. you can do this by getting a cat water fountain that encourages them to drink or any other way that works for you. but don't get worried if you can't afford to only buy wet food, it's ok for them to have dry food. personally i would recommend a mixture of dry and wet food. good luck with ur kittens guys ! !

    • @corinnecarole
