Busy day of flybys in the Lake District today with the RAF sending along a Texan, a Hawk, two Typhoons AND two F35s! Had to wait a loooong time before the first one showed up but they came fairly regularly after that. Just a short video of a Typhoon from Warton Aerodrome flying along Thirlmere in the Lake District. This was a new location for me just to see if there was any benefit. I did catch it a little late as it was murky and overcast at times however I think it has promise.....albeit with a long walk to get there!! Just one to show it doesnt always go to plan. Had these four F35's coming down the valley as I was on my way up and standing on a loose rocky steep slope....couple that with looking up whilst trying to balance doesnt make for a good combination! That said if you can ignore the poor camerawork and focus hunting please enjoy the amazing sound of Pratt and Whitneys F135 torbofan!! Thanks for watch...

A very chilly day next to Thirlmere in the Lakes trying to catch the Swiss F/A-18s while they are at RAF Leeming. Lucky to get them at the end of the day in low but lovely light. @@Airlineforlife There is a car park close to the school in Patterdale, then there is a farm called Side Farm down a track just before the school. The hill in front of you when you walk down there is the hill you need to go up.

No joke, I was at old water today and one of the F-35 fighter jets flew over and I was on a paddle board with my mum and dad well no just my mum and the jet was about 100 m above us and it was amazing it was so cool to see how low and how loud the jets

Clatworthy reservoir in Somerset is worth visiting. Most days there's a few jets using as a low-level nav pinpoint.

i grew up here - well in barrow just a bit away. i used to buy a bag of weed and lie on the hills, watching the jest scream over me. I live in Mexico now, and although theres not much worth missing about the UK, this is one thing
I saw 3 f-35 in Windermere yesterday the thunderous sounds was amazing
I'll bet the F35s were American. We can't get two serviceable!

Hi, I shall be holidaying near Ullswater next week. After giving up aviation photography a few years ago and not having been to this area before (driving up from Devon). Where would you suggest having a walk (accidentally on purpose with the family) to view side on or top down in the vicinity of Ullswater so I can say we're going for a walk but may just see a jet or two?
@@richcliff6224 anywhere along ullswater would give you a chance. Glenridding is a nice spot for the family and has other activities to do aswell. Hope you see something!
