Thanks for the video have you tested OC with enabled AVX3 (AVX-512)? I want to use it as an emulation PC and for RPCS3 AVX-512 has significant performance gains I have coe i5 equivalent (6c/12th, base clock 1.8 GHZ) and have stability issues It also does not posts in gear mode 1, at least so far I have no luck It runs cinebench R23 fine (score is about 10000) but Aida 64 stops with Hardware fault detected, and Prime 95 stops some workers due to calculation errors. It also has BSOD during normal use, for example while installing the game from steam Temperatures are fine, maximum I observed is 82℃, I changed thermal paste between CPU and interposer and used same thermal paste (MX6) under the cooler (Be Quiet Shadow Rock LP) I also have 3200 MTS RAM(which is working in another system without an issue at XMP) , I selected XMP, but as I mentioned no gear ratio...

Bought one, the bios is abit overwelming... not for default users for easier overclocking might I suggest a software program "quick CPU" very easy and works too. I am having some memory problems, perhaps some1 here could help me out ? I bought 2 dimm's both 3200mhz and 16gb. one of them works and the other won't go upto 3200, but instead does max 2666mhz, is it possable to force it to go 3200 ?

Do it reach 5GHz on 12980HK?

I have not been able to get Kingston Fury 2x16GB 32GB 3200MHz C16 kit to be stable above 2666MHz. Any ideas why? The latency and voltage is set to XMP1 values and I even tried to increase all latency values a bit to no avail. Crashes when stressed. With 2666MHz all stable, but anything over that crashes. No cpu overclocking (yet).

Suggesstions. Liquid metal between cpu and interposer. DO NOT GET IT ON THE ALUMINUM. LEAVE A SMALL BORDER BETWEEN THE COPPER AND ALUMINUM!!!! Make sure your cpu cooler is a solid base and not heat pipes. Heat pipes don't make "great" contact with the interposers copper slug. With those two suggestions you can start to crank up more power as needed to keep clocks steady. I highly suggest the upgraded erying vrm heatsinks as the stockers are pretty crap. In the overclocking section "uncore" is where your voltage is for mem controller. My memory is some B die flare X at gear 1 3500mhz with some some pretty tight timings. I get around 48 NS of latency via Aida64 so don't sleep on the uncore. It'll help get your mem stable. My board was able to be set at 104bclk for an easy extra 150 ish mhz. In total, I have in gaming 4 cores doing 4.95ghz while the other 4 do 4.85. My total power allowed is 145 watts which under stress test goes to about 140. My mem as stated is running at 3512 mhz. Mine is an i7 11900 ES. I'm running adaptive and have not given my board any extra + Vcore offset. Just as a quick measure, in cpu single core gets around 670 and multicore gets around 6800 - 6900. Good luck everyone. These things are a steal once tuned. Also, if anyone is interested there is an aliexpress store selling 5700XT's for around $125 us plus shipping. I think I paid $137 after tax. It appears to be a Biostar extreme gaming triple fan card rebranded to "Elsa"

Thanks! this helped a lot, havent built a machine in 8 years, and havent seen an AMI bios since the 90's so was a bit lost - this one had me going around in circles getting my kingston fury beasts to run at a descent speed, the 'golden nugget' moment was that bit in the bios that showed the 24x multiplier for 133 clock speed to get 3200 mt/s ! The only issues I have had so far are RDP drops out when remoting into it unless am running the high performance profile, and as i'm testing am using onboard gfx, the driver doesnt allow me to sort the overscan issue out on a tv - this wont be an issue when I drop a proper gfx card in, the other thing is I had an unrecoverable GPF while adjusting the power settings under windows to sort out the RDP drop outs as I suspected it was power management related that was causing the RDP problem, and the system ended up bricked but was ok after a fresh install, I havent had the need to touch the cpu settings on my 11900ES, and in the bios it idles at 13-15c but I am using a custom water loop to cool it... but switching to the high performance profile it boosts to 4.7 without any intervention so am leaving it at that.. btw the vrms get a bit toasty too so they will need descent cooling...
