Good morning. I'm sorry, I've never heard you say your name so I don't know how to greet you properly. I listened to this on my own yesterday and was anxiously looking for your reaction. I was excited to see it this morning when I jumped on TH-cam. 🙂 Ejel, also known as Chang Eun Jeong and Augusteng, is a 24 year old South Korean singer/songwriter with a beautiful voice. Yes, Shawn and Justin relelased this video about 4 years ago. You should check it out so you can see the contrast between them and Ahyeon. Well, it definitely fits Ahyeon. Yes, if you aren't getting emotional something is wrong. I, too, get emotional each time I listen to this. This is my 12th listen. She delivers the emotion!!! Yup, we have the same feeling of the song "monster" of ahyeon it feels deferent now than the trainee day's cuz the songs really felt like her life the song hit hard very hard if you know the story of her! You can really feel it from the way shes singing!

There is another duet between pharita and ahyeon singing "like that" and also one of ahyeon with the other girl singing a song called "lonely", and there is also a solo song by pharita only that these last two were not uploaded to their TH-cam channel, I hope they upload them soon. I love Pharita's voice and tone, it is just as you described it, angelic but she can also have a lot of power if she wants it, in addition, I think her tone is very special, and she also has a very nice vibrato and can add runs and riffs if she wants, because I've heard that she does it when she sings live spontaneously, but I think she doesn't prefer it, maybe she likes a different style, and that's why she doesn't usually incorporate that. Also, in babymonster there are already members who usually sing with that style, like Rami and Rora. (I would love if YG also take this two to music shows, I don't know why they haven't if they have voices that are out of this world and very rare in K-pop), so maybe that's why, at least in the babymonster songs, we don't hear pharita sing like that. And well ahyeon has a very powerful voice, so powerful that I feel that what she had to learn when she was a trainee was not to give power, but to control it, like Asa with her super fast rap. And as we can see, Ahyeon has achieved it perfectly, she has a very beautiful voice with a beautiful vibrato, powerful, but also with the possibility of being soft, and has an incredible projection. This group simply impresses me more and more. And the most shocking thing is that they have not shown us even 20% of their potential, nor everything they can do or improve, nor everything they can learn in the future because the girls are sooo young ❤

You should definitely watch the whole Last Evaluation series (if you haven't yet). It pretty much shows BAEMON's journey as a group. I personally would be seated if you'd watch it.

I want to give you a suggestion, please make a reaction to MV as well as their live performance.. in their MV it's good but when you see their LIVE vocals it's really crazy.. the vibe is different... That's why MAMAMOO is called the QUEEN OF LIVE STAGE PERFOMANCE AND THEY SING WITH THE MIC ON..

I think that you missed the Ahyeon X Pharita when they sang LIKE THAT which was the first video they posted for BEGIN AGAIN with the BABYMONSTER members. Ahyeon sang MONSTER in their monthly evaluations but it was a different arrangement. The story with Ahyeon is a lot different than you might think since no one knows the exact details. Basically she was going to debut with the rest of BABYMONSTER but because is a video that went viral about her using the N word in one of her performances in the school cause a lot of hate to the point which is most likely the reason that she had to take a hiatus. Some of the comments were really nasty, so you could see that she was visibly gone from BABYMONSTER activities in July 2023. That was part of the biggest reason that their debut got delayed. They didn't know if Ahyeon would return in time for them to debut like they said they would. YG gave it a couple of extra months before announcing that they were moving forward with BABYMONSTER's debut and gave it one extra month to see if Ahyeon would be able to return.This is from the timeline of events that happened at that time so it is not 100% factual but this is what we know and guess so far since there wasn't official word on what happened.

There is actually one more performance on Begin Again that you missed featuring Ahyeon and Pharita. They performed Babymonster's Like That as an acoustic duet. When you were looking at the channel it was actually in the second row, second from the left.

I'm glad you got to this one. Ahyeon was truly amazing. So emotional and her singing got to me as well. I can never understand the hate she gets. I don't want to leave out Pharita. She was wonderful and so clear her princess voice. But I need a break too! 🥲 Phew! Wow! 🤧😂

Baby Monster girls have powerful vocals. Both Ahyeon and Pharita can blow their tops off without even look like they are trying. Insane. Ahyeon brought me to tears again. And I have already listened to this song so many times.

Mamamoo is my favorite group and Solar(pole, leader and power belter) is my favorite singer anywhere. They are 25 to 28 in this video, today a few months from 30 to 33 and yeah they are women which means naturally seductive. Their focus has always been vocals and they are considered the best live vocalists in korea and really they are at the top with the best of the best anywhere, they also focus on performance in live venues, putting on excellent productions and they do write a lot of their own lyrics, music, choreo and production, especially now. Looking beautiful is secondary unlike many kpop groups, mainly because they were told they are short, not pretty and can only make it with vocals. They also worked for their success, living in roach infested apartments, busking in street performances and taking pretty much any venue. And trainees in kpop do use mamamoo's music for training and learning how to do it right. They have over 400 videos when counting albums, solos, OSTs(these are album quality, Covers, collabs and live performance videos. Good medleys would be the Hwasa TV show Mamamoo Hit Songs collection live( 2 years ago) with a live band, The Dingo Killing voice(they were in fact the first killing voice) and any of the Immortal Songs videos. And they do pretty much every genre of music reggaeton, big band, jazz, R&B, pop and more, basically they make every genre their own. They all have youtube channels Solar's solarsido has some great covers, one of the best michael jackson man in the mirror(was originally done live stream with MJs original band and backup singers) many a capellas and more.

Finally Mamamoo!!! If you want MATURE and VOCALS this is the place to come!!! But fr tho their vocals are still THE BEST in kpop till this day imo. Solar(blonde) is an absolute powerhouse, Wheein(the one you liked) has honey vocals that can melt your ears, and Hwasa with the sultry and jazzy sound. The rapper Moonbyul can sing too! She can easily be a main vocal in some groups. You can check out the killing voice to get a look into their songs and their live vocals!!!

When it comes to Mamamoo you will get a little bit of everything in their discography and performances. Rock, r&b, rap, ballads, jazz, classical, big band, belting, pop, upbeat, sexy, emotional, breathtaking, harmonies, and much more. Not exaggerating when I say Mamamoo debut with fierce confidence and stage presence that is very seldom seen in a rookie group and performer. I saw them in concert last year and they were amazing. Vocal queens!!! Fan or not, one thing that can be agreed on is that Mamamoo has exceptional vocals (even the rapper can sing) For me, Mamamoo, is the female version of Exo. Especially when it comes to vocals and stage presence. From the start both groups went hard and brought the vocal game to the front and center. (Title is a bit of click bait as Mamamoo is not underrated, they are under appreciated.) Very good guides. Mamamoo is an older more mature group, however, they can be crackheads as well. They give you emotional, and deep songs and then BAAM!! You get a song where they argue over who is the tallest (1 CM Taller Than You) or singing about how they don't even have time to wash their makeup off after work or have to sleep in the car (Sleep in the Car) or a silly song about dad jokes (Azzegag) or puppies (Waggy) even a song for a recipe for kimchi fried rice (which sometimes while performing it they actually made the recipe onstage) Sexy Silly Sirens😊😊😊😊

Why? Cause some guys are gay. And these particular guys were telling a queer story with this MV<3 And oh yes they have beautiful vocals as well as a very unique music style as well!
