Thanks for the recommendation! I checked it out and it does look gorgeous, but it looks like it's quite fan-servicey, so I'm probably gonna skip it. The reason I like FF7R so much is because it's essentially a game that's already been proven to be good, it's just being remade from outdated graphics into something beautiful now, too 😊 So all the core content is good, not just the visuals.

they got some pastels right, i rhink they did great with the mint and lavender joycon duo, but i remember seeing the pink and yellow duo and wanting to cry. even the acnh, while the mint is different to the one in the lav-mint duo, i think its still a great duo. this pink is way too coral. given it was released to coincide with princess peach showtime why not name it peach pink…? people in the comments don’t seem to understand that more accurate naming would help consumers manage expectations. imagine the oled came out and the joycon were off-white 😭 after going around saying theyre white, that yellowish tone would throw you off no? its the same here

girl i so agree with you! those soft purples, blues and green were so pretty 😍 but yea at this point i've been waiting for a nice pink switch for so long it feels like they're not giving it to us on purpose 😔

yes, i love the white buttons look! if you're brave enough you can try to change them yourself with custom ones 😊

well, if you wanna be technical about it, here is what wikipedia has to say: "A pastel is an art medium that consist of powdered pigment and a binder... the binder is of a neutral hue and *low saturation*...as an adjective it means *pale in color*." but honestly we don't really have to agree about the definition. these honestly _are_ pastel in comparison to the other omega bright joycons. I just know that for me and other people i've talked to, our expectations for _pastel pink_ were different. if nintendo didn't want to make it softer, i think calling it peach pink instead would have felt more accurate and set expectations better for someone like me, and not affected anything for someone who likes the color. don't you think?

but why should they have picked another name when the name already represents the color correctly? i mean the same thing could be said for any other color, purple and green for example could have been lavender and lime so i mean saying that is kinda a dumb argument. just cus the color doesnt fit your description doesnt mean that it isnt correct. it is a pastel pink color so the name is correct. @@Raesthetics

Good question! I didn't directly compare them, but i'm pretty sure the switch lite is a darker shade of this kind of peachy pink.

@@Raesthetics yeah, this looks like just a lighter shade of the coral switch lite “pink/coral”. I remember it also looking a bit salmon color (I sold mine sadly 😔)

I think a lot of it is that the naming feels inaccurate. it's less of a pastel pink and more of a bright peachy tone, you know? and I'd love a switch oled! but I can't really justify it right now, unfortunately. maybe in the future 😊

yea, it seems like it, but that's why i compared it to real pastel pinks so you can see the difference. it has too much base yellow in it and it's a bit too bright to be fully pastel pink. it's not a terrible color, it's just quite bright.

oh, is it 60hz? thats nice! i don't even notice, tbh, lol. and yes! 128gb is AMAZING! my 12 mini was only 64gb and i was really struggling with that, but now i have like 50% of the space free and its wonderful ☺️

@@RaestheticsWhat I meant... it's not nice. Even the cheapest Android devices are 90Hz or 120Hz. For that price should be 120Hz just like Pro... but yeah Apple are locking it behind the "Pro" branding. It's rumored that iPhone 17 (base model) will be finally 120Hz just like the "big boys". 😜
