I love watching people who build their own PC! It's hard for the first time but rewarding as soon as you see that first boot. Great job on the build! Happy Gaming! (that ram part was scary tho XD)
It's nice to see a build that is rooted in the world of common sense verses what I so often see from other builders who consequently spend many thousands of dollars on a computer, essentially for bragging rights more than anything. All because they can't actually being honest with themselves in terms of asking if they even NEED a computer of such expense and power. It encourages the notion that if it's not a top tier, brand new build, it's somehow 'outdated' and unfit for use. It makes me crazy. I'm glad you could see past that and build something that makes sense for you without getting caught up in the 'gamer' mindset of needing more for the sake of feeding ones own ego. Plus it's nice to see a build in a case that doesn't look like a low budget transformer being lit up by an RGB inspired acid trip too!
Great job! I know the first build experience isn't quite as simple as some people make it look but once its done there is no better feeling! Especially when you start working on it and you know that you built it! Building PCs is a great hobby and a wonderful skill to have. nice job.
People really gotta learn that whenever you turn on the PC, it first POST then boots. And on a fresh build, there is only POST, no boot. Because POST stands for Power On Self Test which means it checks itself if it's alright and there is no problem. And if there is any problem it will give a error code via pattern of beeps (if you have speaker). While boot means starting and loading up of operating system. I hope everybody understood. No hate to anyone. Just want to correct the wrong knowledge out there. For more info google POST vs Boot
I love watching more girls building their own pc, as pc build is usually associate with guys. Also I like the build approach, price wise is reasonable and would probably be the way for most of us out here.
I don't know if this matters anymore, but putting your motherboard on the plastic cover it came in when building it might be a bad idea. That's anti-static cover that's meant to prevent ESD. The outside of the bag conducts static, so if something went wrong, you could've short circuited a couple parts.
Putting in that psu first was definitely a first, normally when building a pc it’s alot better to put everything onto your motherboard as much as possible before installing anything else. The pc definitely needs some cable management work but other than that you have a great little budget build!
we've all been there. being way to soft on putting the ram in and breaking something. the mobo is quite sturdy and can take some decent force before it starts breaking. just dont jam a screwdriver in one like i did once...surprisingly only the audio stopped functioning and got replaced be a soundcard so it worked just fine again
When i first build my PC. The hardest thing i ever did was putting a huge cooler. I spent like 3 hrs putting that in. Thx to the combination of tiny screws along with my shaky hands. Overall the effort paid off. I enjoyed my time.
NR200 is a nice choice, installation is easy, it looks nice and the form factor is just right. some suggestion, it's a good practice to test all the components and see if it post at least once before putting it in the case, safe you some time if you need to troubleshoot parts.
Nice to see someone using a manual screwdriver. You don't need a huge amount of torque to keep everything together and the "feel" of a screw getting fitted with a good amount of force and shredding the head can be miniscule...
For anyone else with the 'RAM Struggle' issue:- There are typically two different types of DIMM/RAM slots (on a given format). Some will have a fixed end and a hinged clasp as with the Mobo in the video. Others will have two hinged clasps, one at either end. Goes without saying that the ones with hinged clasps at either end are easier. For those with slots like in the video, ensure you have the stick the correct way around (as shown with the notch out of the stick along the contacts itself, aligning with the break in the slot). For the fixed end, slightly tilt the stick so you slide the end into of the stick into the fixed end of the slot, whilst keeping the other end tilted up and just resting barely into the top of the clasped end, keeping the whole stick essentially in-line with the slot. If you do it this way, once the "bottom end" is pretty much all the way in, you can push down the "top end" into the hinged section with your other hand (or just fingers) around the middle of the stick to click in place much easier. Hope it helps anyone!

Just recently started a new build in an NR200 as well, still waiting on most of the parts to get here, so I went looking for builds on youtube. Glad I came across yours! Love the video and congrats on getting it all set up! Maybe when GPU prices come down a bit, you'll have a cool upgrade to look forward to! Cheers!

This PC case actually fits a lot of stuff! You can put a GPU and everything in it if you wanted to, but yea you do need a smaller ITX board. Thanks for your comment! 😊
White Mechanical Keyboard 60% to 70% would look good in your desk. I have RK71 but I'd recommend Royal Kludge RK61 it's a budget range mechanical keyboard.
I bought mine for 3 reason. 1. Better Feel and Reliability, 2. Better Durability and 3. Better Customizability and Diversity. so I hope you'd find your preferred mechanical keyboard. Cherry MX Red (switch) is a quiet one :)
Was looking at small form factor PC case videos and came across this. Nice job on the build, you did good! Loved the extra sticker at the end to make the logo into an adorable face haha Hopefully GPUs become available for you soon! They're slowly but surely getting cheaper and getting back in stock I hear! I'm also eyeing the Cooler Master NR200P too, I wanna size down from my current build that's in the NZXT H210 haha
Awesome first build. You had a few hiccups but overall you got the system to turn on and post. 2 suggestions though. Everyone has already got you pretty hard on cable management so all I'll say there is give a go in the near future. Always good to know how to make your system perform well and look good while doing it. But for future builds know that the anti static bag only works while the motherboard is inside. The outside doesn't create the same affect. So if you want to ground yourself just wear a antistatic bracelet and hook it to something metal like you case, or just touch something before handling the equipment and put the motherboard on top of the box itself not on top the bag. Congrats on your first build
@@alreadyputitup they’re fun right?? I got the stickers at a stationary store, but I found them online for you www.ooly.com/collections/stickers/products/itsy-bitsy-stickers-cute-expressions 😊 thanks for commenting!
Oooohhh, closed the case before you successfully got it to boot the first time XD That's both bad luck and means you inevitably open it back up when you realize what cable you forgot to plug in. Or is in the way of your fan. Or just got shredded by that screw you forced in while closing the case that sure feels a lot tighter now than when the case was empty....
Nice build, but though I was sweating when you clicked the RAM without picking up the entire motherboard XD I usually hold the motherboard in hand as I click it into place. For the sake of not bending the pins behind the board. Other than that pretty nice build. :)
Hahaha well luckily it turned out alright in the end. I do think it looks worse in the video than what it really was, because I knew not to push on the cpu, I was terrified of breaking something so I promise I was being very careful, but ah well. What can ya do 😂 I think the box just flexed a lot.
Lol oh no! Don’t worry, the pins didn’t almost break! The video made it look worse than it is, but I actually wasn’t really pushing that hard. The cardboard box was just flexing a lot. I knew not to push it in very hard because its fragile, so I was being very careful 😊 thanks for your comment!
The pink looks great! I feel you with the amount of pressure you gotta apply on some parts 😨 Built my first PC in the NR200P Max a week ago. Went with Intel, also waiting for GPU prices to decrease further 🤞
Good job on putting your PC together dispite the struggle. Also good to a girl do something that actually requires work instead of selling feet pics on the internet. Keep it up.
That’s not a very nice thing to say. I’m also not sure I appreciate the judgement cast on me solely based on my gender. It’d be nice if you wouldn’t do that. Thanks for your comment.
nice job with your first build. however there were some close calls in the build process especially with the cpu and ram 1) you were pressing on the cpu and you got lucky the pins didnt bend because if a single pin is bent your cpu will not work thats why people say to let it "fall into place" 2) ram is the easiest component to install not the hardest. the key is to first insert on the bottom side of the dimm slot then insert the top side then push both sides of the ram equally. i was scared the ram would break the way you were forcing it you made installing it way harder than its needs to be but since its your first time so i am not gonna talk about it any anymore 3) you said the cooler was in the wrong orientation and you were right but that orientation would still work if it doesnt touch the ram and since you changed the orientation back in the correct state i am guessing the thermal paste wasnt reapplied. if the person that helped you did then thats great but if they didnt then you should reapply it otherwise it may not cool properly. 4) the cable management is non existent. if the side panel was transparent it would look terrible but you got lucky. however since the cables are all over the place it might hurt your temps a bit not to mention the case itself might not be letting much air inside like most ITX cases so your temps might be hotter than usual. 5) lastly its a nitpicky thing but its better to not start building a pc with the PSU first since it looks complicated and messy and that can be frustrating. with that said at least you managed to get your pc running since its your first build and that itself is a huge accomplishment so great work and dont let this long comment discourage you from building next time because next time you will do even better. WELCOME TO PC MASTER RACE
I did learn most of these things throughout the build process haha. Only thing is my case wasn’t luck, I did purposefully pick a case without a transparent side panel so I wouldn’t have to see my computer’s guts all the time 😆 Thanks for your detailed comment!
Hello, how are you, the PC you built is very good, you will be able to play and work with this computer comfortably and quickly. Later when you can, you could change the hard drive for an M2NVM, they are much faster and have a faster data transfer capacity, well, your computer is beautiful, greetings from Argentina
Just let Windows on the 2.5 inch, use nvme to install games and apps. I notice little difference between M.2 NVMe and sata (though I do now have M.2 B-keyed meaning sata anyway, most people mean M-key when they talk M.2).
Just reusing old drive always works, but sometimes you need to nuke some old drivers over conflicts, rare but can be necessary. You also can route an internal antenna for BT. I did.
I really appreciate you ❤️ building your own pc is now days everyone dreams 🤩 All your setup looks so good hope you will upload some future upgrade videos of the pc 😄 My only question is, is cute case is important or good airflow is important .? According to me airflow is very important 😂😂😂
Ugh, same on the X570 Strix with the front panel audio, I was looking for the slot and was like, hmm this is odd, where is it? Check the manual, you have to unscrew part of the heatsink and push on the cables to squeeze the heatsink plate back on? I left it unplugged as I don't use the front panel audio anyway 😁
3:15 I hate to be _that_ guy, but - any ITX motherboard (eg 17x17 cm) will fit in the NR200/P/Max, and there are hundreds of ITX boards out there. mATX boards shorter than 226m will also technically fit. Just wanted to point it out for anybody watching who might not be too knowledgeable. Though, I think you meant to say that there are only 3 or 4 different B550 ITX boards (there are 5 that are widely available worldwide, plus a 6th obscure Biostar board that is only available in China). This too is a bit misleading because the 5600G also works in any B450, X470, B550, X570, and A520 ITX board (some might need a BIOS update). In fact, many older B350, X370, and A320 ITX boards might also work with the 5600G eventually, _though_ this isn't necessarily a good idea since many of them have subpar display output options.
Ooh, thank you for your comment! I don’t remember exactly why I thought there were only a few motherboards compatible with the case, I remember I was using pc part picker with a compatibility filter and I was seeing only a few options, so that must be where I got it from. But now that I went to look, I’m seeing a longer list of products, so I don’t remember what happened, haha. Maybe it was also filtering for CPU and and the rest of my parts and that narrowed it down more? Idk 🤷♀️ But thanks for the clarification! 😊
It's always a scary to do something for the first time, and it's such a great feeling when you accomplish something you've never done! Well done on your ITX build and a very well made video which I understand both take a lot of work to do. Congrats on your new build and have fun with it.
@@Raesthetics @Raesthetic I ended up getting an ATX power supply on accident😅 Luckily I found a bracket from Etsy to fit it in the case but it went well other than that kind of majoor mistake! 😄
you actually taught me how to build a PC better than any professional like- thank you I daren't do it myself because of the struggles you went through hahaha
This comment is not channeling any hatred but pointing out a few common mistakes :) I liked the build and all... but there were few flaws/mishaps. First Mistake, Using a iMac display (which is locked at 60HZ) which will be a pain to game in. Second mistake, The SSD stuck to the power supply cage which was not a good idea as it is putting out hot air toward the SSD which in turn may lead to overheating. Third mistake, when you use a dual channel ram system, then you use slots 2 and 4 but using slots 1 and 2 will lead to serious bottlenecking (loss in performance). Fourth mistake, since the PSU will be outputting hot air, the air cooler may suck in the hot air from the PSU directly into the cpu which will lead to some serious thermal issues. Fifth mistake, the PSU placing, if the PSU was facing downwards toward the floor then the hot air can exhaust from beneath and better accessibility. Sixth mistake, the SSD, the SSD is an full sized SSD which she could have easily replaced with an M.2 SSD which is smaller and is also a bit faster and would be sealed inside the motherboard so of which would have decreased the risk of moving around during transportation. This comment is not meant to hurt anyone's feelings but to correct the mistakes. :)
Hello! thank you for your detailed comment. you might be right about some of the airflow, but I do think some of these things are not mistakes, but choices. 1) I've never had pain when gaming on my iMac. its 1440p and visually very pretty. I don't play anything competitive so I don't need anything fancy. that being said, my imac just died (it was very old) and I'm using 2 hand-me-down monitors now. Probably a worse choice 😂 but I'll have to live with them until I get the money to buy new monitors. 2) I only have 2 ram slots on my mobo, so there's no choice in where I put the sticks, lol. 3) I know an M.2 is better, but I wanted to save money by using something I already had, and I said that in the video. Maybe you missed it, but its also another choice I made, not a mistake. Thank you for all your suggestions! ☺
not sure if any one else commented, but did your cooler have thermal paste on it already? did not notice any put down when you put the cooler on. but good job for a first time! some scary parts but you did it!
NIce PSU.. I'm running the same lolz, That was the first itx case i bought to test NR200p, but the thermals wasn't good having a 6800xt inside so i bought a new case by SSUPD instead called meshlicious. I do have a video but its not as professional like yours lolz.
Well, I had a lot of help, I didn't choose the parts myself. I would appreciate it if you didn't judge girls like that though.. every one has their strengths and weaknesses, and I'm not special. Thanks for your comment ⭐️

Oh yea, I already replaced my SSD with an NVME 😊 as for GPUs, the built in one is working well for me right now so I don’t think I’ll need one for a while. Thanks for your comment! That’s a good tip about watching some cable management videos 😊
@@Raesthetics You're very welcome and I hope you're enjoying it
Just recently started a new build in an NR200 as well, still waiting on most of the parts to get here, so I went looking for builds on youtube. Glad I came across yours! Love the video and congrats on getting it all set up! Maybe when GPU prices come down a bit, you'll have a cool upgrade to look forward to! Cheers!
Thank you! Good luck on your build! 😊
Hehexd what an enjoyable feeling watching this PC build. I enjoy seeing all these stuff
😊
Not bad for your first build. Congrats.. Have fun with it..
Thank you!!! 😊
Oooh i really enjoyed your building video ♥️
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it 😊
Very relaxing video wishing the best for you and your channel!! :)
Thank you! 😊
well, my thoughts is i LOVE ur color choice cuz i also LOVE pink, don't care just cuz i am a man that like that color, but ur PC is very cool wish i could fit my PC parts in such a tiny case and love the rest of all ur pink-colored sofa footstool, etc, just a thought Ethernet connection is better than Wifi, WeeFee🤓👍🏼♥
This PC case actually fits a lot of stuff! You can put a GPU and everything in it if you wanted to, but yea you do need a smaller ITX board. Thanks for your comment! 😊
The sticker made it all worth it :D

White Mechanical Keyboard 60% to 70% would look good in your desk.
I have RK71 but I'd recommend Royal Kludge RK61
it's a budget range mechanical keyboard.
I’m not the biggest fan of the clickety clacketyness of mechanical keyboards 😔 I appreciate your suggestion though! 😊
I bought mine for 3 reason.
1. Better Feel and Reliability,
2. Better Durability and
3. Better Customizability and Diversity.
so I hope you'd find your preferred mechanical keyboard.
Cherry MX Red (switch) is a quiet one :)
@@staire thank you! I currently have a pink Logitech K380 and I’m quite happy with it (^-^)
its so smoll its like a microwave its cute 🥺😄
I know, right?! It’s my favorite 🥺 thanks for your comment!
Was looking at small form factor PC case videos and came across this. Nice job on the build, you did good! Loved the extra sticker at the end to make the logo into an adorable face haha
Hopefully GPUs become available for you soon! They're slowly but surely getting cheaper and getting back in stock I hear!
I'm also eyeing the Cooler Master NR200P too, I wanna size down from my current build that's in the NZXT H210 haha
Thank you!! I really love this case, even past the color part, lol. It’s so easy to open and close !! Highly recommend it. 😊
@@Raesthetics For sure one of the better cases out there, you made a good choice! Ngl, if pink was my colour, I’d probs rock it too 😅
omg my heart stops when u touching down the cpu.😂😂😂 Anyway great build!!💜
I’m glad you liked it! 😊
Thank you so much! I appreciate your well thought out comment and suggestions 😊 I’ll definitely keep them in mind for the future!
For your first build, this is so good!!! The build came out AMAZING!!
Thank you! 😊
Very nice work you had there! I did my build recently too and I feel you on the RAM part XD
😊
Well done, especially doing a small form factor build as your first build.
Thank you!!
It's Beautiful, im gonna get pink as well
Thank you! It is a beautiful shade of pink ♡
love these cases, the new colours are great
the final touch! aha I'm going to do that (p.s. where'd you get the stickers)
@@alreadyputitup they’re fun right?? I got the stickers at a stationary store, but I found them online for you www.ooly.com/collections/stickers/products/itsy-bitsy-stickers-cute-expressions
😊 thanks for commenting!
Oooohhh, closed the case before you successfully got it to boot the first time XD
That's both bad luck and means you inevitably open it back up when you realize what cable you forgot to plug in. Or is in the way of your fan. Or just got shredded by that screw you forced in while closing the case that sure feels a lot tighter now than when the case was empty....
Haha luckily everything worked out okay! Thanks for your comment 😊
it also comes with the tempered glass side cover.
Yes, but I don’t like it though, who wants to see computer guts and cables all the time? 🤣 I like this one cuz it’s clean and pretty ✨
@@Raesthetics it can look really good if you have nice cable management
@@ffXDevon33 I prefer a clean look, and to me seeing computer guts isn’t very clean, lol. Appreciate the comment! 😊
really nice little build! well done. :-)
Thank you! 😊
Hell yeah! ASMR goodness! I’ll watch you build a computer over Linus any day!!
Haha thanks! But this is probably the only computer I’ll ever be building, so you might be stuck with Linus 😂
this was a pretty funny quick build! XD
Thanks 😊 trust me it definitely wasn’t quick for me! LOL
Idk how I ended up here but nice job on your first build! Very cute looking system.
Thank you!! (*^▽^*)
Nice build, but though I was sweating when you clicked the RAM without picking up the entire motherboard XD I usually hold the motherboard in hand as I click it into place. For the sake of not bending the pins behind the board. Other than that pretty nice build. :)
Haha thank you!
That case is so cute! And don't listen to the curmudgeons criticizing your cable management. They're just jealous of your cute case.
🤣 thanks for your comment!
When u pushed on the CPU I died a little I was scared 😂 cute build!!!
Hahaha well luckily it turned out alright in the end. I do think it looks worse in the video than what it really was, because I knew not to push on the cpu, I was terrified of breaking something so I promise I was being very careful, but ah well. What can ya do 😂 I think the box just flexed a lot.
Oh and thank you so much for your comment!! ☺️
Great Job. You should try to use some cable ties to manage those cables since I saw one coming dangerously close to you CPU cooler fan.
Thank you! I moved the cable out of the way for now 😊
This gave me courage to build my own pc too even though it'd be hard as a beginner ;-; great build!! 💖
I’m so glad!! You’re exactly the kind of person I made this video for (^-^) I hope you adore your new pc, and I’d love to see it! ♡
jeeez, when you were pushing down the cpu to fall into place i had a heart attack! those pins almost broke lol 😂
Lol oh no! Don’t worry, the pins didn’t almost break! The video made it look worse than it is, but I actually wasn’t really pushing that hard. The cardboard box was just flexing a lot. I knew not to push it in very hard because its fragile, so I was being very careful 😊 thanks for your comment!
@@Raesthetics oh thank goodness! awesome small factor build anyway!
Congratulations, your PC is very nice.

The pink looks great! I feel you with the amount of pressure you gotta apply on some parts 😨
Built my first PC in the NR200P Max a week ago. Went with Intel, also waiting for GPU prices to decrease further 🤞
Thank you! How are you liking your new computer? Mine is surprisingly quiet!
@@Raesthetics Definitely loving it! There's just a low hum from the fans but it's barely noticeable even at full speed!
Thanks for your comment.
nice job with your first build. however there were some close calls in the build process especially with the cpu and ram
1) you were pressing on the cpu and you got lucky the pins didnt bend because if a single pin is bent your cpu will not work thats why people say to let it "fall into place"
2) ram is the easiest component to install not the hardest. the key is to first insert on the bottom side of the dimm slot then insert the top side then push both sides of the ram equally. i was scared the ram would break the way you were forcing it you made installing it way harder than its needs to be but since its your first time so i am not gonna talk about it any anymore
3) you said the cooler was in the wrong orientation and you were right but that orientation would still work if it doesnt touch the ram and since you changed the orientation back in the correct state i am guessing the thermal paste wasnt reapplied. if the person that helped you did then thats great but if they didnt then you should reapply it otherwise it may not cool properly.
Yes, I updated my SSD to an M.2 drive already 😊 thanks for your comment!!
@@Raesthetics ooh, you're welcome
Just let Windows on the 2.5 inch, use nvme to install games and apps.
I notice little difference between M.2 NVMe and sata (though I do now have M.2 B-keyed meaning sata anyway, most people mean M-key when they talk M.2).
Just reusing old drive always works, but sometimes you need to nuke some old drivers over conflicts, rare but can be necessary.
You also can route an internal antenna for BT. I did.
@@jamegumb7298 oh, I didn’t know about internal antennas! That’s a good idea, thank you 😊
I might copy this build for my kid 🤔 👌 🙌
I’m so flattered! If you do, I’m sure your kid would love it! Thanks for your comment 😊

Apparently you did your homework. Good job :D
Haha yes, I wouldn’t want to try something this scary without doing my homework on it first! Thanks for your comment! 😊
I really appreciate you ❤️ building your own pc is now days everyone dreams 🤩 All your setup looks so good hope you will upload some future upgrade videos of the pc 😄
My only question is, is cute case is important or good airflow is important .?
According to me airflow is very important 😂😂😂
A cute case is vital for me!!! Thanks for your comment 😊
I wish cables weren’t so hard! Haha thanks for your comment 😊
But still, it's a great first build. That top comment was just me being pedantic. Keep up the good work!
Nice build!
Thanks 😊
nice build. pink aesthetic really fits you. hope you enjoy. ( really wish you get a gpu at msrp or lower than msrp )

You inspired me to build a PC with almost all the same parts and the same case (in white) ☺️ you're video was so helpful and fun to watch!
Aw omg I’m so happy to hear that! ♡ I’m glad you found my video helpful even though my process was a little scuffed 😂 how did your build go?
@@Raesthetics @Raesthetic I ended up getting an ATX power supply on accident😅 Luckily I found a bracket from Etsy to fit it in the case but it went well other than that kind of majoor mistake! 😄
@@Asnow315 oh no! Haha I’m glad it was all good in the end 😊 I hope you’re enjoying your new pc!
you actually taught me how to build a PC better than any professional like- thank you
I daren't do it myself because of the struggles you went through hahaha
I’m glad you liked it! 😊
This comment is not channeling any hatred but pointing out a few common mistakes :)
I liked the build and all... but there were few flaws/mishaps.
Great work looks great
Thank you! 😊
I had a heart attack watching you install the ram i was like TURN IT AROUND !!! aahhh XD
Did I have it the wrong way?? I think it was right… 🤔 thanks for your comment!
