WOW thank you for letting me on something I always found strange about Jehovah's Witnesses teachings.I sure wish I could tell my family about this video.What I noticed is even their Bible stories book all the characters are whitewashed except for the slaves if that's not offensive i don't know what is.Can you PLEASE send the links to those articles so I can read them myself.

I still believe in one creator and his only begotten son, just not thru the JW teachings. It’s very upsetting to learn that we had been misled for 40 years but we’ve moved on and our study’s in the scriptures have been more enjoyable plus the burden that comes with being a JW has been removed. Hello everyone Jehovah witnesses was the only organization not tied up into saving all the slave trade. I’m 50 yrs old. And I grow up in organization. This man is races. He had a problem with different races worshiping together. I’m gonna break my brother down. He was never comfortable with white brothers are sisters. How can he say? If i close my eyes , I would believe you are speaking of the Seventh Day Adventist Church And it can be said of all the domestic American religions. Infact the SDA's were more drectly racist and only stopped after the state department stopped them. Thier prophet Ellen G White told blacks not to seek equality with whites and told a group of blacks , dont worry about the color line, because when you get to heaven, you will be white as chirst himself.

As a third generation JW and black American, I was raised in the 1960s and 1970s. Saw the organization in my area, go from predominantly white to predominantly black. It was sad to see black people look down on wearing their hair in naturals or braids because it would be imitating the world and unacceptable to Jehovah. Young black JW enduring racism, inequality, and limited opportunities were conditioned to put Jehovah first by spurning higher education, collegiate sports, college scholarships, and lucrative employment. Many ended up raising a family, unnecessarily in low paying jobs and struggled financially. An older brother told me in the 1930s and 1940s, the Kingdom Halls and congregations were racially segregated, with his family assigned to the colored congregation, number three. The Society indoctrinated JW, using the same brush as if every member was on a level playing field, with no consideration of how anti-black racial dynamics affected their black members . Yet black JW sacrificed and remained loyal. Many have put in many long hours of service, donating money in lieu of savings, and have left property and land to the society, instead of family. Investing in the future of the new system that was just right around the corner and under Jehovah's provision.

I think you also need to work on your taking the Bible as an absolute. We got to follow the Bible if we want to be believers of it or throw it away as any other book. If you read a verse and you say it does not make sense. You are none believer of that verse.
