Hey Alan, I sure had some good weather for this trip. I'm glad because that way at least I wasn't too cold on my sheepskin. It was quite an adventure and I'm glad that I got to do it. Don't think I would do it again. I do prefer a good bed after a day of hiking. 😁 Have a great weekend!

I really got annoyed by it. Hoverair showed me with some prints printscreens how I had to it. Really nice!

It was a big adventure. We sure have a lot more comfort these days. In the middle ages they sure had to do it with a lot less!

It was quite hard, but fun to do and I'm happy that I had Frodo with me! 😁

@fionaludbrook8193 The weather was pretty good when I did it and a sheepskin gives pretty good isolation from the cold ground. But still, it was not really very warm and especially not comfortable. But I'm proud of myself that I did it and that I survived my little adventure. I got some inspiration for the journey from the book 'pillars of the earth' Thanks for watching and your support! @bestillonthetrail234 I knew that those sandals were not going to hold 40K, so I walked most of it on 21st century runningshoes... which means that I had to carry the sandals most of the time and that was pretty bad as well with no good backpack... I'm still pretty proud of my journey and my night on a sheepskin. Not that I slept much. Lol Have a great Sunday! Kaat

Hi Sue, those little drones are quite expensive, I think, compared to the bigger (but still small) drones like the DJI mini. I also have one of those, but it's always a hassle to get it out and fly it. Also you need to carry the drone + the controller. Which means that I often don't take it and that I have carried it more than once without using is. That's why I like this little selfie drone. Easy to use and no controller to carry and you can still fly it manually using your phone as the controller. It does has its limits. Like not flying high, far and fast. Also it doesn't fly over water, a cliff or sand. But for me it's perfect, so I gave myself this little present. ;-) Have a great day! It was quite an adventure. I already did this a few weeks ago, so the weather was still ok. And a sheepskin has a high isolation value. Still, it was hard to sleep on, so I didn't sleep very well. Frodo was the perfect company for this trip! He made me feel safe in the forrest, all by myself. Although I often prefer stealth camping by myself because Frodo does bark every once on a while in the middle of the night... The sheep skin bed sure wasn't the best, but a challenge to sleep like that. I did wear sneakers a part of the trail. 40km on sandals would have killed my feet and it would not have been fun at all. I also have a dji drone but never use it because it weighs too much and it's to much hassle with the controller and the phone. This one has some preset modes, very easy! 😁
