The Battle of The Silver Helmets?! That's an awesome Battle name. Always down for some military history. Fantastic museum. I appreciate the memorial. From the cemeteries to memorials to the history itself. You do great justice to this small area that made it's mark on history.

Interesting watch, I love a bit of history and a good museum as well. I would not have liked the job of digging up all of those German soldiers but I loved the field of helmets. I sure loved my little stealthy camp, it was just perfect. I'm happy that I got to learn about this battle of the silver helmets. I had never heard of it before so this was really interesting for me as well and those bikes, they are just amazing I have a foldable bike right now but it's a lot smaller but still it's quite heavy. We found it particularly interesting that there were soldiers on bicycles in this battle. We had never heard of that before. It's also great that you found a good place to sleep. Hi Iris and Micha, That little dog was sure interested and the owner even more. Curious about what I was filming. I only noticed afterwards they were in my video like that. 😁 War is a sad topic and I can not imagine is fighting... But I guess at some point in history we would have been on opposite sides... 😏 Soldiers on bikes, I had never heard of them. But it makes sence. They were able to move a lot faster than those on foot. I do hope that they could leave their bikes in a save spot when having to fight. On the other hand, i don't think I would worry about that bike when I might be shot at and killed in the next few minutes/hours. Next Friday our adventure? Have a great Sunday! Kaat and Frodo
