That looks like an intense amount of manual labor, and moreso than a standing sander
It is quite a bit of labor, but was able to do the deck and rails with it.
How do you know which one to replace?
Drop the glove box and touch each one with a screwdriver and you can feel the vibration of the one making the noise. If it’s not those then it is probably the one on the driver side.
Wouldn't this be the same for 2014 as well?
Not sure, easiest way to find out would be to drop the glove box and see if it looks similar.
Here from the meme 😂
????
Great simple explanation. Thank you for taking time to show us.
Hope it helped
Great concise video. Thank you
Glad you liked it
What's the actuator that does a slower bumping noise? Whatever it is, it was doing this for about 2, 3 years and has now, suddenly gotten obnoxiously loud, like someone knocking on the wall, inside the passenger side dash. 2010 Impala.
Sounds like the passenger side actuator. Good news is it’s the easiest to replace. Drop your glove box and find the actuator, touch it with a screw driver. If it’s the one going bad you will feel the knocking vibration through the screw driver. Super easy and inexpensive to fix yourself. Good luck!
Did you let the paint dry before you used the ripping compound or did you use it directly after you put the paint on?
You definitely want it to dry first. You can watch the entire video on my channel.
@@WhojoedaddyDIY yea I was wondering why it just cut from you applying the paint to the drying compound, it didn’t make no sense. I was wondering how you weren’t smearing the paint. I figured you would’ve said “now that we let it dry” or something in between the next step.
I have this exact scenario
Hope you have a tractor 🚜, definitely makes the job a lot easier.
@@WhojoedaddyDIY we're renting a mini excavator for other jobs so we'll do this last, place is a mess
Better off doing that instead of the pain of removing the entire dashboard! Went on a tour around a factory, does not look like fun.
Older Dodge dashes are horrible, my truck engine is solid and will probably run for ever. But I’m afraid to sneeze in my truck, because the dash would probably fly apart in a thousand pieces.
@@WhojoedaddyDIY They do have good engines, everything else not so much lol
I just fixed a no blow HVAC on a Chevy Express. Spent days replacing a blower, then The blower resister, then the vacuum supply line, still no air. Then an old coworker who used to be a Chevy mechanic tells me it’s the ground wire to the fan speed dial. Pull the dash apart, yank the HVAC controls, and there’s a toasted ground wire. Splice a new one and it works. Days of work was just a fried little wire. Lesson learned? Just ask the Chevy tech to begin with.
Everyone needs a friend that’s a mechanic! Thanks for sharing though, sounds like a common problem that might help someone else.
What about the new scratches you put into the surrounding paint with the rubbing compound?
Make sure you’re using a clean rag and you shouldn’t have any scratches. I have used the rubbing compound to remove scuffs and scratches in the paint.
Oh Good Lord THANK YOU 🎉❤😅
Glad it helped
You can also use ladder hooks, hook it over the peak, and the ladder lays on the roof!
Actually bought the hooks and planned on using it on the highest part, but thought it would be quicker to just use the rope and cushion before I lost my daylight. Next time I will definitely use the hooks! Great advice, thanks
11:55 featured appearance of danny devito 😂
Thought you might like that!
The exterior door jambs in my house are all flush with the threshold. This looks like there is a 1/2" gap between the threshold and the weatherstripping dado.
👍
Stay single, men. You avoid your woman disrespecting you on social media.
Raymond this solution might help men live longer and keep from over populating the world! 🤔🤣
That’s genius! Im gonna try that. BRB
Felt safer than one the rocks, good luck.
Whatever it takes to get the job done!!... 👍
Right!
I'm pretty sure he bought you that big ol air conditioner too
You know that’s right, no one wants to live in the south without A/C.
Then stop asking him to do dangerous chores! You do know he cancelled that insurance policy dont you?
🤫😝
Ladder can't kick out from under him.... Excellent! Safty first!
Always!
Maybe you need to put the shuters on the house. Your husband will live longer.
I need her to live longer, she’s a great cook!👩🍳 😂
It’s also why women never built anything of significance.
Have to be honest and say it might have something to do with the fact that they weren’t allowed to have positions of significance for many years in history. I know several women who far surpass my skills and ingenuity.
@@WhojoedaddyDIY that’s a lie there champ
This is safe - I don’t see the issue
👍
I call that genius
I would have to agree! 😝
We take care of women (real ones) and children at any cost. It's the way of the world. That looked like a pretty solid rig. God bless what's left of America, Please Sir.
Right on
Women nagging men to 🪦 is why women live longer.
Naw it's because of the stress you ladies put us through. Example "My husband will kick your butt". Knowing that the guy is twice as big as him.
She just believes in your abilities or your life insurance policy! 😂 😂
@@WhojoedaddyDIY lol 😂😆😂
Men actually survive all this. But don’t survive a woman in their life.
At least we take the initiative 🤷🏽♂️
👍, thank you for your service!
@@WhojoedaddyDIY thank you for your gratitude.
No problem there.
Thanks for having my back Mark!
Men are hard workers, they put every effort in to complete the work.

We get the job done, don't we guys 😂
We get the job done and if we do it ourselves we save 💰 so we can buy the tools 🛠️ we need next time.
As long as you are thankful for his risk and your reward then it’s just another day in a man’s world.
She’s very thankful, she’s usually out there doing stupid stuff with me to save money.
Good example of why men get more done lol
Sometimes you just have to do what you can with the tools and time that you have off!
@@WhojoedaddyDIY improvising masters 👍
That’s how you get stuff done. Give that man a cold beer.
Lol I don't think that's why women live longer than men.. but funny example
Only one of the many reasons!
Good idea
Thanks!
Sorry wifey this how we get the job done 😅👍
Whatever it takes!
Instead of putting it in u tube she could helped him
She is usually my partner in crime. I just had some time off and wanted to get it finished. 😆
Whats the issue?
Right!!!
... because women nag the heck out of us to get things done.
Can't get nowhere in life being chicken shit. Plus a married man has nothing to live for!!!
But we get it done
Always
Did she want him to put the ladder on the condenser unit?
