Got to admit, if you know how to ride a motorbike and a quad, these don't actually seem all too bad, it's gutless enough that you ain't breaking speed records but still powerful enough, but it seems to handle decent and when one wheel does come in the air it's very controllable...

so I still have that bike, but I'm using it as spare parts to keep my blue one running and as spares as parts are really hard to come by on these!

Yes I've just had a Google, I've got the bhp numbers of the cbr1000rr 🤣 I didn't read into it enough lol, I mean its still double the power of my car and all together weighs a bit move than a pedal bike so should have the power to weight ratio of a bloody jet engine 🤣

Not gonna lie man that is a shout, I was originally just going to have a decently beefy chain guard over the whole thing but this isn't a bad idea at all, And the ridiculous is very true, hopefully can get it all sorted and dialled in! well, as much as you can 😂 Having some issues with mounting the rad with exhaust pipes in the way of pipes etc... trying to keep weight lower down on it😂 Hopefully got the next video coming out in next few days! Definitely something different eh 🤣

yeah, I do agree, Even just stepping on it round a roundabout, car is much more stiff, definitely feels alot more planted to the ground. And I do agree. 100% worth the upgrade! My car scrapes over speed bumps but I like the look of it low 🤣

Yes that's one flaw I have noticed. and some of the larger speed bumps become quite scary 🤣

YES! 100% Agree, massively improves handling at all speeds, comfort etc. Stock suspension nowadays anyways, it's just the cheapest thing that will meet manufacture requirements lol

Amazing mate, good ole writeup! I was actually thinking about blanking off the scoops at the bottom as I do quite like them, how they look. 🤣. I mean I absolutely love the car, I've just collected a JapSpeed exhaust for her too, which will be going on shortly, hopefully will get a video out in the next few days for it... Can't wait! Also have been told many opinions about lambo doors from diff people, I see they are very controversial, it's not something I'll be doing yet, have a lot of other things to sort on her first, but I have to admit I love the look of it myself so is probs something I will be doing eventually. Of all the cars I've driven in my time, this is by far the most fun, comfortable and stable (handling wise) thing I've ever driven lol... love it!!

It's confusing as hell to me lol, says 2.0GTi16 on it, but it's an na... I always assume gt is just a turbo lol😂

@@dmc_autos ahhh, I get the confusion. GT is not turbo, GT-S is turbo

yeah, she's uk spec, no turbski sadly, but, the NA is alot louder, and people say that they are a bit more bulletproof of an engine, less to go wrong etc... and I agree, the colour is gorgeous imo! Zircon Blue, think it was a limited edition colour, not many of them about in this flavour!

Yes man your correct, I didn't notice at the time of recording. it's so strange, on the v5 doc it says GT, in my head that means turbo? idk 😆 but yeah I was looking for the turbo and couldn't find one anywhere, posted in a Facebook group and about 400 people confirmed it was indeed a NA. Regardless, still an awesome car and I couldn't be more happy with her!

@@dmc_autos You're right, usually T does indicated a turbo nowadays... it's a great car and looks better than 99% of anything on the road now. I've wanted one for ages. I've subbed and will be following your work.

@@dmc_autos does it keep the black longer lasting than the spray treatment alternative do you know? I'd be too scared of melting something I think to risk it!!

@ThePtb1980 it's hard to say hugely, from my experience it keeps it black for ages, It seems very hard to melt it as such, you just have to hold it far enough away and keep the torch moving, best to practice. it's cheaper than any liquids and in my opinion, alot more permanent. Things like back to black, they look and seem good, on a car, you have to re-apply it once a month as the colour fades back to the grayish colour. doing it with heat seems to last

For this shop I pay just under £300 a month, for where it is and it's size, it's actually quite cheap!

Hello from uk! I did attempt 😅 they had loads of these massive gouges that looked like a wire wheel had been used to clean it.... heat gun made plastics a little better but still we're really destroyed so wanted to start from scratch really

I do agree, what I like to do on here is sorta show that you don't have to spend a fortune on bikes and on repairs and can still get killer results! it would 100% of looked better but at the same time, give the bike 5 minutes In the dirt, powder coat will look no different... Got to admit, even for me, the bike is a proper little bit of fun and i know it's only meant for a kid but we are all big kids anyways 🤣

🤣🤣🤣 trust the process!!!! you actually get a surprisingly good finish after 2-3 coats, you cant even see brush strokes as it all blends together and actually looks quite good 🤣 and it's far more durable and long lasting than any rattle can job! 😉

🤣 awesome bikes they are! I've had 3x ts50s... my first bike lol, 2001 ts50x, absolutely loved it, couldn't beat it in my opinion, have actually got some videos on here of that one! Yeah she is a bit small but still sounds good and is a little bit of fun!

wheeey! just take it easy lol, cbt is a piece of piss to be honest. best bike to be learning on! if take the ts sound a field or on a big quiet lane, just get the hang of low speed maneuvers, a u turn in road width without putting feet out etc, you'll be fine mate I'm sure!

Wow really? That's really surprising... I mean they were dangerous bits of kit... its a shame really, I've ridden one before and too actually ride one, it's an experience you just can't really pair up with anything... you do have to take it easy on them... things can go tits up very very quickly...

@@dmc_autos , there was a load of press hysteria about them in the mid 1980s and they were banned in some places (think the USA ban was for 10 years). I don't know how the UK restriction on 2nd hand selling was done, or whether it is still valid, but it was still prominent on the Autotrader until quite late

to be honest, I did have a go dremmiling slots into them but when I applied a bit of pressure half the head just snapped off... sooo welder it was 🤣🤣

@@dmc_autos don’t bother with a screw driver - go straight for the impact driver and give it a good hard smack! The bolts holding the ignition switch on are normally not that tight. By the way, think it is a Zadi ignition switch. They are pretty easy to strip down and remove the lock barrel to make it easy to but a key from the lock.

😂 Awesome mate! yeah she is a bit of a weapon if I'm honest, it really shocked me how well it pulled when I first rode it, I've rode 600cc sports bikes that felt slower...
