Hello! My name is Brigitte LeFever and I live in Oregon City, Oregon. I am a gen-xer that grew up in the heart of the MTV age, total 1970's and 80's and am now old enough to see the things I grew up with becoming vintage collectibles, I guess that makes me one too? My parents are artists and antique dealers so it's in my blood to be a vintage reseller! I have been going to estate sales and thrifting since I was a kid and have had antique spaces periodically through out my life but now I am making it a full time venture and recording my thrifting and antiquing adventures on TH-cam! I became obsessed watching other TH-camrs sourcing for their reselling businesses and figured I wanted to join in the fun of having my own channel! Besides my vintage reselling business and my TH-cam channel, I also make jewelry and pottery and have my websites for all of my selling ventures linked in each of my videos as well as here in my channel description in case you are interested.

I am 37, work hard, love fashion but I can't afford luxury. Last year I found out about kislux where I bought a real leather Fendigraphy for about ?50 (more than I usually spend)... I love it so much and it makes me feel good... I don't show off it's fake but anyone who knows me and knows the prices of Fendi knows it's not real... Maybe one day I will own a real Fendigraphy but for me I am happy with my fudge

not sure if you went to both locations, but in sisters the habit for humanity has a second location, more furniture and larger things, but they do have some collectibles and art there too. and in bend about a block past that goodwill there is a human society thrift, enjoyable video looked like you had fun.

Making the vintage assemblages are so enjoyable.I love making them but the only sell for a quarter of what you have shown.

Love your wonderful video - small request- always wear face covering- like a real chemical face protection when working with that resin- it does permanent damage to your lungs and body. I know as I have MAST CELL activation syndrome and I’m telling you - you do not want anything to do with this!

The googled definition isn’t really correct- the disease is so complicated- but it’s where your body becomes more and more allergic to the world around it and starts to respond negatively to so many things that the smallest chemicals etc can start a response which can take days of recovery or be life threatening like anaphylactic shock- and then it become clear that this world is extremely toxic. For example when I’m at a high point I can’t walk through the produce section of the grocery store from the chemicals they have sprayed on them. So I thought ok- wild oats- organic- nope- still having reactions- I asked the producer guy- he said no, there’s still a certain amount of chemicals they can use even with organic- my body picked up on it. In any case, that resin is so dangerous- it’s immediate anaphylactic shock if I’m near it- and I saw a video about a girl here on TH-cam that had been working with it and she has permanent lung damage, fatigue, trouble with body pain, she has to wear oxygen - it’s ruined her life- and that’s my life already because of MAST CELL- like I’m stuck in bed- had to quit my job ruined. So just wanted you to really really be careful.

It’s actually in Oregon City but on Molalla Ave. I’ve only been to the one on 82nd once. I didn’t get much but my friend got a great abstract painting there so I’m sure it’s hit or miss. Hopefully you have good luck in Oregon City!!💜😁

I think you should make a piece of pottery with an organic shape like the one at the goodwill. Wow--the prrices at the Sunnyside Goodwill. I wonder if Goodwill has hired researchers. As a part-time (Portland, OR) reseller, I'm noticing it's getting harder to find bargains at Goodwill.

I know Goodwill has the online shop where they put a lot of their more valuable items and they have the Boutiques as well so they are definitely educated on the value of many items so they are obviously trying to get more out of the regular stores now too. You are so right, Goodwill is becoming harder to make a profit from and get good bargains from, I agree!! Thank you for your input!! 💜

The rooms at St Francis look a lot like the rooms and hallways at Kalama Harbor Lodge, but that soaking pool is amazing!! What a fun little trip.
I haven’t stayed at the Kalama Harbor location. I’m a passport participant so I’ve definitely perused the hallways there. It’s a great location as well, but unfortunately none of the Washington locations have soaking pools only the Anderson School in Bothell has an Olympic sized pool. I heard it has something to do with the laws regarding requiring life guards. Too bad, those soaking pools are some of my favorite parts of the experience!! Thanks for sharing!! 😁💜
