@@terrizimmerman5297 Hi Terri!! Nice to hear from you!! 💜 I finally got my video finished!! I will definitely put the denim transformation in a video!! Hopefully it turns out well 😆
Hi ~ Catching up on oldies! Thank you for including found comps / solds! Really helps expand my grabby-inventory-hands of what to grab and flip...though, for real...in most cases, the heart wins over the brain.....I Lately I am leaning harder into the concelpt of cost-averaging...so that I can buy pieces I am psyched to own for a little while before I pass them on! Anyhow, Cheers to you and thanks for the shopping-seeing- trip ❤
Thanks for commenting!! I too like to savor a piece for a few months before I’m ready to part with it!! Then I get in the mood to purge a bunch of things. 😁💜
Great video, Brigitte LeFever’s First City Vintage. Looking forward to your next upload! I smashed that thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the fantastic work! Your finds are always so unique. I'm curious, how do you determine the resale value of vintage items, especially when there are so many factors like condition and market demand?
Great question!! I usually start by using Google lens to see what the items like it are listed at and then I go to eBay and use the filter option to see the sold and comps. This gives me a better idea of what the item would be sold for. Condition is something I always make allowance for but I try not to pick things up if they aren’t in excellent condition but I have made many mistakes when I get home and see a chip or a crack! I also visit a lot of antique stores so I can get an idea of what the market is like. Thanks for asking, I hope this helps. 😁💜
@@krisphilwade1 thank you Kris!! One big difference is on Etsy it has to be at least 20 years old so if I am in doubt I’ll put it on eBay. Other than that I really try to stock my Etsy store because I like being able to make coupon codes and I feel I have a bit more control there. I do feel I sell more on eBay though because I still think people go to eBay before Etsy for vintage. 💜
I don’t know if l would cut the jean jacket l think l would put it over the jeans looks cheap or funny see what you think l guess it’s light weight but hum

Brigitte, thank you for your video! You got some great stuff. I was wondering, how you decide what you sell on ebay versus Etsy? Thanks! ~ Kris

That makes sense. Thanks so much! I've only been on Etsy since January and still figuring things out. Love your videos, thank you!
