Can you let me know what kind of spray paint you used?
You can use any brand you want , duplicolor is a good choice

Use diesel fuel
@@PatrickMcneil-t8u I’ve never had good luck with diesel. Gas is cheaper 🤷♂️

Used motor or kerosene oil also works

I guess I could . I did 3D print something called a NT79 which is a flare gun and I can make my own ammunition. It’s pretty cool 😎
I been looking for a working 3d printable flare gun that isnt a toy . Is the makerworld one legit?
@@AckzaTV I’m not familiar with maker world. There is a metal insert you can buy that turns a flare gun into a 22lr that’s pretty neat
You could scuff up the valance and add some fiberglass to reinforce it and make it way stronger

Like the truck man good work! I just got me a 2000 s10 xtream scsb truck to just project on pretty much. Was gonna ask how u got ur door panels and dash to come out smooth gloss color. Did u fiberglass the whole door panel where its painted? Also did you use a spray gun with auto paint or spray cans?
@@brandonmunday1494 I did all the work myself like 10 years ago it was sanded, filler primer and auto paint. I have future plan to do it again just because I wanna change the speakers and add some ambient lights
How did you do your door panels red like that? The old school all red interiors have always made me want to do a red scheme in one of my projects.

Dash looks good How did you get your dash painted and it actually look glossy and smooth? Any interior panels I've tried any color change on always scratches off so easily leaving the original color showing and always dull / flat looking. Ended up looking like cheap spray painted interior. just got a s10 extreme for a project and want to do my dash and interior panels but don't want to trash my interior 😂
@@brandonmunday1494 it’s kinda a process but I can walk you through it. First, you gotta clean with alcohol and sand it with 180. Next get some filler primer give it like 3 coats . Take some flat black spray paint and mist your panel. Wetsand with 320. What you’re looking to do is get rid of all the flat black spray paint it will show you low spots. Once that’s done, you can use your spray paint use color and clear . I would avoid the single stage paints if you can.
The back of my steering wheel broke off while removing it and is stuck on.

Did the plywood sag over time?
@@jimmycecil1287 I did have a sag by the tailgate about 1/2in drop, which can be mitigated by angle iron or a bar fixed on the tailgate. The other thing I would change is the hinge, finding a stainless piano hinge would be the way to go. I did end up removing it like 3 years later because I wanted to do a.l tailgate handle delete.

The 4wd spindles wheel bearing is designed to be held tight by the front axle nut. Had you been able to actually install it on your truck without fwd the wheels would have flew off with the wheel bearings and everything. Very dangerous situation. That's why gm made sure you can't mix match those

I was wondering how far does the back rest recline if any?
I’m in the process in converting mine into a floor shift instead of column. Just to make it more bad ass with the cammed 5.3 and a floor shifter in place.

Since you've obviously had some time with this wheel, can you ( or anyone else with experience in this) tell me how got it gets in peak summer months, how overall comfortable it is, and how well its holding up?? Any negatives tgat you have learned over time???
It does get a little hot in the summer (Texas heat) but the leather foam makes it bearable till the a/c cools it down. Aside from that no complaints

I like what you did with the round bar, but why didn't you use aluminum rather than steel.
I picked steel because it would be better to retain its shape with all the abuse.
No they came in plastic. Not fiberglass

The valve was not the issue it’s the seal inside the can.
And a few all have a paint can like he said don’t fucking punch a hole on it because like he said it’s a one time use, but if you do the same trick that mechanics do with their WD-40 or PB blaster stuff like that, you just put the air nozzle to the top of it force the air down it’ll clean it right outit’s just like adding more air to your lubricant can
I actually tried using air down the tip, didn’t work🤷♂️

Did sound deadning make a difference in road noise and over all cabin noise?
It sure did I can actually have a conversation with a passenger. Future plans are to do the doors , roof and behind the dashboard
Why wouldn’t you use the 4 studs and 2 bolt holes already in place for each seat?
I did , the track bracket is different
You drilled new holes in the stock van tracks, I have those same seats.
