From the video and comments I got enough to get this to work, but I think an updated streamlined video would be helpful. Asking Siri to play a song or playlist via Spotify, then appears to make a shortcut to repeat the action. First time I ran it, I needed to unlock the phone, then hit play, but when I set it up again, that requirement disappeared... Really clunky still and Apple should add it natively to the Clock app.

This still works great! I had issues with importing my playlist at first because it would stop running immediately without errors, but I realized it wasn't working because my playlist was private. After switching my playlist to public, it worked without issue. If you still work on this, I recommend adding error validation/feedback to ensure the linked playlist is public.

THANKS SO MUCH! I am currently using iOS 17.5 and the first method seemed to not work. I liked it best beacause I didn’t have to open the Spotify app, all I had to do was click it and it would play. And all of a sudden it just appeared on shortcuts and I was so happy. So thanks so much. And to everyone in confusion, it is hard work but once you do it enough and get lucky it sure enough works. I did it about 20-30 seems a lot but it was worth it
