Hello and Welcome to my channel.
Throughout my life and travels, I've seen people with very little who truly appreciate and enjoy the little that they have. And on the flip side, I've also seen people with more than enough where enough was NEVER enough.
So all of this has brought me to one strong realization: and that is that you do not need a lot of money (and sometimes very little money - or no money at all) to have a rich experience. You can make EVERY experience a RICH experience. It's all a mindset.
True, you can't control everything that happens to you in life, but you can control how you react to it. So be it the good, the bad, and the ugly - as long as you learn from it, grow from it, gain strength from it, thrive from it, or squeeze some type of benefit out of it for yourself and/or others (as challenging as it may be), then you can make EVERY experience a RICH experience.

I live in Santa Rosa about 12 mi away I have a three-bedroom two-bath apartment excellent construction $200 a month TV internet all my utilities around $75 a month. I'll text you from my house into Central Santa Rosa $1.25 if you can live like a Colombian in Columbia it is inexpensive live like a gringo you'll pay through the nose for everything. I lived in Medellin for 2 years in the neighborhood called Santa Monica two bedroom two bath brand new apartment my rent end was $250 per month Medellin is beautiful stay out of the American areas. Bogota live there for a year it's New York 9 million people not the best place to live.

I think people forget about the cultural opportunities that enrich us when we travel. We aren't monolithic men.
Well I can't speak for all men, but as for me, cultural enrichment is one of the greatest opportunities.

How did you like the working girls? Did you at least have a good time with some? Nobody goes to centro for the culture
"Nobody goes to centro for the culture". Dude do you even know about Centro?? That's where most of the historic & cultural tours take place. It's the heart of the City. And as far as working girls, I've seen more of them crowding the streets of the touristy areas like Poblado/Parque Lleras than I've seen in Centro any day - any day. Which is why I stay the fk away from those touristy areas like Lleras (unless I know EXACTLY where I'm going) because it's not my style bro. Also about Centro, yeah it's definitely not as plush as other parts of the Medellín (especially touristy areas that don't really even represent the real Medellín), but oftentimes all the clothes, shoes, food and products that you find marked in all those plush malls there, you can find for half the price or less in Centro. On top of there's a lot good humble people in Centro just going about the daily lives and doing their jobs with pride without expecting a tip all time. So beneath the grimy exterior of Centro, there's definitely gold to be found. So yeah, for a simple-minded person, maybe they would overlook Centro. But I'm not simple-minded.

Pereira sounds a lot like Cuenca, and could be a good alternative especially for retired age people looking for a quiet relaxing location that has alot within walking distance. And Bogotà is only 150 miles away....

@@richexperiences1 I would love to. Thinking about a good Plan B location even at my age is always on my mind. But fewer and fewer places check my boxes, or maybe I have changed boxes to check. Pereira seems like the right alternative to Cuenca nowadays
@@dovygoodguy1296 You really just have to visit different cities you're interested in and start feeling them out for yourself. At least one or 2 weeks in each for starters. But do keep in mind that things change. So places you're eyeing today may be totally different when you finally decide to make that move.

Yep, Bogotá is a HUGE City with lots to do. Got a chance to visit briefly in February...but only for a few days. Next time I'll spend more time to explore!
