2001 BMW F650 GS Custom Build Part 1
This bike came to me with a host of electrical issues and had been laid up for an extended period of time. After getting it running, I decided to try to make a retro-inspired custom scrambler, as this model is not often customised. Part 2 will see this bike fully restored.

1976 Honda CB360/CJ360T Custom Build Part 1
มุมมอง 221ปีที่แล้ว
This is the first stage of my Honda CJ360 build, where I am setting up the suspension, tank, seat, handlebars and exhaust to where I want them before I pull the bike apart for restoration. I received the bike partially dismantled, with a locked up engine and very rusty original tank and airbox. Part 2 will see the build completed. Honda Z50 5cm Extended Swingarm Full Install
มุมมอง 426ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I install a 5cm extended aluminum swingarm on my Z50, a few things to note - you will need a longer chain, with the 5cm swingarm you can reuse the original shocks, you cannot use the chain guard, the swingarm needs to be tightened to crush down on the hub, when installing put the rubber chain guide on first then slide the swingarm on. Overall the build quality is good and I have h...
Honda Z50 Restoration Part 2
มุมมอง 117ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I install a new carburettor, tank, seat and headlight onto my Honda Z50 clone to make it look more like an original Z50J. In the next part I will be adding some more performance oriented parts. 1979 Honda CT90 Scrambler Full Build
มุมมอง 242ปีที่แล้ว
This video shows the quick build process of my manual 125cc engine swapped Honda CT90. I used a few Honda Cub fairings for more mud protection off-road, as well as higher shocks in the back, higher bars and various other modifications. Enjoy! Honda Z50 Restoration Part 1
มุมมอง 96ปีที่แล้ว
This is the first part of my Honda Z50 rebuild, I got the bike relatively cheap, as it had sat for a while and was missing a key. This meant it needed a new ignition, the fuel tank flushed as well as a new (used) carburettor to get it running. I also gave it a general clean up, in preparation for the next video, where I will customise it to look more like an original Z50. Balloon by Purrple Cat...
1987 Honda Z50R Full Build
มุมมอง 1.9K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Here is the full build up of my Honda Z50R, it actually started out as a replica bike, but has been fully rebuilt with reproduction parts in a sort of resto-mod fashion, based around a 1987 model. This has the added benefit of keeping the project at a reasonable budget, as well as not butchering an original example. There is much more customisation to come, so stay tuned. The current modificati...
2008 Suzuki GS500 Street Scrambler Full Build
มุมมอง 2.4K2 ปีที่แล้ว
This is the build of my 2008 Suzuki GS500, which started out life as GS500F that was crashed and repaired. The intention for the bike was to have a unique 'Mad Max' aesthetic, while still retaining the reliability and comfortability that comes with the Suzuki GS. The bike remained a daily rider as it was built, so much of this process was done in a small amount of time and on a limited budget. ...
1973 Yamaha DT250/DT3 Full Scrambler Restoration
มุมมอง 8K2 ปีที่แล้ว
This is the gradual build of my 1973 Yamaha DT3 from what was originally just a box of parts into a sort of scrambler/vinduro bike . The plan is to use it as a trail bike for a while, and then try to get it road legal. 1991 Honda XLR250 Baja Rebuild
มุมมอง 1K2 ปีที่แล้ว
A quick video of the light restoration of my MD22 1991 Honda XLR250 Baja. This is a Japanese imported bike and only needed a few parts to become once again complete and road ready. It's now a great bike for ripping through side streets and taking off-road.
Honda Z50 Custom Full Build
มุมมอง 1.7K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Due to rising Honda Z50 prices, I decided to make my own out of some old pit bike parts, and reproduction Z50 parts. Because of this, it has more modern suspension, brakes and engine, whilst still retaining the retro aesthetics that have become so iconic. 1968 Honda CT90 K0 Full build
มุมมอง 1.7K3 ปีที่แล้ว
This is the complete build of my 1969 Honda CT90. I started with only a frame and front end for this build, so I decided that a Chinese 125cc engine would be the best option for an engine. I ended up clear coating the frame to encapsulate the patina present on the bike. After sourcing wheels, I added a new seat, grips and tyres to make it into a fun little farm/trail bike. Thanks for watching.
1974 Honda XL100 Restoration

1977 Suzuki TS185 Full Restoration
มุมมอง 4.3K3 ปีที่แล้ว
This was just a quick clean up build to make my 1977 Suzuki TS185 more stylish, comfortable and usable. This rebuild was done on a budget and under a time constraint, so starting with a well running base bike was necessity.
1979 Honda XL185 Scrambler Restoration
มุมมอง 6K3 ปีที่แล้ว
This is the third and final stage of my 1979 Honda XL185 build. It uses a Honda CT125 frame, XL185 engine, XL185 front end, CT125 Swingarm, Suzuki TS125 rear wheel, XL185 rear shocks and XL125 tank and seat. This was all put together with a silver painted frame, Gulf Blue tank and many new parts. The interchangeability of the Honda parts means that the bike has not been butchered, and can be ta...

Whoever modified it to look like this deserves to be in jail
Wow great job!
Hola buenas de cuántas válvulas sería la culata??
Are you using a c70 legsheild for this
Looks like it is a c70 leg shield to me too.
Pobra moto l'has desgraciat
what is the lag length?
Amazing
Hey! I’m looking so bad for the song covered in the background music. Anyone?
Nice would love to see part 2
The only Z50 clones or replicas I'm seeing are the older 70s style models, how does yours resemble the 80s style? Is it basically just a seat and gas tank change? Are the 70s style frames the same as the 80s style?
Wow 😮 I have so many questions. I'm interested in building a Z50 for adult riders as well and I'd also like to build a Honda CT70 or ST90 but original parts are not necessary. So you said that you started with a replica? Is the frame a replica also? What about the gas tank? Because for the most part, other than the obvious differences like the ride height, swingarm and front forks it looks stunningly just like a Z50. I need to know what kind of replica to look for and start with because originals are outrageously high $$$. Awesome video 👍
Thanks! Yeah this one was a Chinese clone based on the 1990’s model Z50R with the more square tank. I just bought a reproduction tank and fenders for a Z50J, made a custom seat, and went with the 1987 colour scheme
Will the 16cm be any different?
Nice video! Show more as progress ensues. What tank is that? I need one for my CJt but don't want to shell out $300 for a crap can. Thanks in advance!
That’s a pit bike turned into “z50” ish
I had one, the color was Competition Green
Love this build!! My family has a DT 1 and a 250. I want to do this similar restoration. Where did you get the wheels and tires? I love the fatter front for sure.
That’s just a rear tire on the front.
It looks like the front is an 18” though? Did you use rear hub?
No airbox and side panels..😳
How much do you want for your bike?
We’re making it to Hollywood with this one
Mate I’d be happy with flagstaff
I bought this I bought this motorcycle new in 1973 and rode it for 20 years. Wish I still owned it. It was a great motorcycle!!!
Price
What a beauty! My first motorcycle was a ‘73 DT250!
This looks amazing! Awesome work. I love the Yamaha enduros
Thanks!
Where did you get that headlight? Is it 6V?
The first model was a orange 1977 ds185 and red tank for 1977, and then the ts 185 came out in 1978 in this frame with yellow gas tank.
I love it man. Very nice work
thanks!
One of the best ones yet
you're the best one yet brother
very nice build bro
thanks mate!
Nice. What a fun little bike to work on
Thanks! hopefully in the next part it will start to look a bit better too
@@JPcustommotorcycles I’ll be watching for it 👍🏻🏍️
where did you get your part from?. my grand father has one sitting down his basement that ran before he put it there but hasnt moved in about 20 years, i am going to get from him soon and im sure it will need new gaskets and such
mostly online, places like ebay and owners groups on social media
How do you wire it up without using a battery?
You have to wire the stator output lead straight to the spark plug
Lindo trabajo amigo mío... Excelente!!! Estoy resucitando un KZ250A. Aquí en Vzla salió a la pista el año 1986. Necesito el piñón loco del sistema de arranque, es decir el engrane que funciona entre el arranque y la cremallera... Me puedes ayudar??? Quien puede ser que lo tenga?? Agradecido por cualquier información!!! Saludos
Time to get it dirty! 🙂
It must be the suspension geometry but is it as low as it looks at the engine? I just ordered the 3 inch rear too.
Yeah it is a bit lower than I thought it would be, it's still at stock height but I think the bike being longer gives that illusion. I'm not too bothered because I'll eventually go for bigger wheels/tyres.
ᑭяỖmo𝓼𝐦 😄
That thing could get you from LA to Florida
Mate we'll have to find out if it will
Do you happen to know where you bought the carburetor?
What are the rear shocks you went to?
Hey mate. Cool bike. I recently bought one , it’s very rusty and the engine is dead. Just wondering if I Can use other Honda 100s parts from the same era ? Mines 81 or 82
Yeah pretty sure a cb125 or cb100 engine will fit, might be best to check first though because I'm not 100 sure
Wonder why they went with a different tank design on the 125 that year...
What exhaust pipe did you use? I like it!
Just the original header pipe from an XL185, with a universal muffler and a bit of welding! Thanks
I'm really new to motorcycles and just engines in general and I'm restoring the same bike and I wanted to know how you did or used to "delete" the oil tank and battery to make it look so clean? *someone else mentioned this as well*
You shouldn't run premix on this bike as their LH crank bearing will suffer
cinematography here
cheers mate had to have thomas vinterberg on set for this one
Front brake line is suppose to be routed on the outside!
found out after the pictures! thanks though
hey mate! I just wrote you on facebook! I want it!
Hey nice project Do u have delete oil pump and battery?
thanks and yeah
Thank you I was wondering how it would look with out the old headlight etc on my K0. You totally showed me. I like it! What headlight did you use? No speedo? Dig it ✌️
Hey there.. Looks good! I have the same bike. While driving it in 1975 the oil injector unknowingly went and I continued driving for a mile or so until the engine starting making a slight clattering noise.. anyway, it needed an oil injector pump. At the time I didn't have $45 so I put the bike away. I took it back out and got it going again in 1993 when my kids were riding and it fired right up; mixing oil/gas of course. But with a bit of riding it somewhat made the same noise once it warmed up under full throttle.. Rings and piston I guess! I see there isn't replacement rings so I assume I need to rebore but most importantly what model piston/ring do I need to purchase.. Now in my retirement years I just purchased 108 acres with many old logging trail on it and I want to get it running again. LOL Thanks for listening
Thanks! I bored out this engine because it didn't have much compression, I found the rings on eBay if that's any help? Enjoy yours!
Im looking for RHs magneto cover assy. for these 125 engine
My chain snaped and butcher the outer case where clucth pushrod mechanism at,its beyond repair ..now the bike cannot shif into gear 😩
Wow amazing job hiding the electrical
