Just pay a little more and get a Vintera, then. Or… get a used MIM Classic Series for about the same as the newer Vintera offerings. Maybe you’ll luck out and get one from 2014-17 that’s finished in Nitro. That’s what I did.

I have a a couple of these and I have a OLP MM1FR which has the "Floyd Rode" trem and locking nut..I bought it brand new for $179 from Sweetwater and it is my favorite guitar and I have many and many of them cost WAY more like Les Pauls, Peavy Wolfgang andMusic Mans...But the OLP is so comfortable to play and sounds awesome. I just finished a Samick Gregg Bennet project guitar. New full size pots, new pickups, new Emerson Oak Grigsby 5-way switch and a hand-made red tortoise shell pickguard. Some new Floyd Rose parts I had on hand. This guitar turned out great, but I still have $339 into this build, including the used guitar cost. So, this Tease guitar is a guitar that has all the right bells and whistles at a price that is below what I put into a used guitar. And it is brand new. It is beautiful. It is set up well. You can't go wrong with Tease guitars. You want a better than most, brand new guitar with exceptional quality? This brand is it. I believe the folks at Tease inspect and adjust if need be, all the guitars before they are shipped. I just bought the SB model tele for 165 shipped to my door. 🙂 Nice guitar you have there. Enjoyed the video.

Thanks for posting this not only is Gibson raising prices it's down right crazy.I remember when you could buy a Gibson Studio for $800.00 New now creeping up to $2000.00 new.I just got my dream EVH Signature Wolfgang guitar MIJ which is $2700.00 new versus $4700.00 for American same dam guitar.I was lucky they can't keep in stock from Japan.Sweetwater had 10% of EVH products at the time so I saved $300.00 but that was good.But general the pricing on all guitars are way out of control you said it perfect. If the younger generation don't look out they are driving themselves out of future sales.

Göldo LT2 Stop Tailpiece Tremolo N in thomann.. check it out.. i have it and i personally think it looks much better on les paul.. great vidie though.. just ordered bridge roller saddle and tuners from guiker. will think about the nut if it goes out of tune.

Dislike. If you want real Jaguar with circuits pay more. It does the job with its pickups and tremolo bar. This video makes no sense at all

American Original 60s Jaguar from few years back is really good. Liking it more than Marr's Jaguar that I also have. Sad that AO60s its not available anymore. Would buy one more and put Lollar pick ups for it. Works and plays awesome, only flaw that had to turn tremolo screws upside down so E-strings wouldn't break.

I've had an OLP MM1 for over 20 years. Bought brand new from Musicians Friend. I did put a Dimarzio Steve Morse in the bridge. I agree with everything you said about the one that you found. Fantastic playing instrument. Neck is like butter.

Hey Jay i found a red versions of this for 200 with EMG and Fender locking tuners And a 500 dollar Floyd Rose it came like that stays in tune and improved sound and so on. Im keeping it 4 life. I.even have the Peavy SC-1,SC-2 and SC3 Les Paul Versions of these made in the USA heavy ass guitar. SC stand for the Scorpion line by Peavy.

I have installed a wilkinson bridge, with a graphtusk nut and locking tuners and my guitar doesnt stay in tune😢..

I like the Player II, but I feel like the strangle should have been implemented as a push/pull. And parallel/series as the other push/pull, Marr style. The rhythm circuit is unnecessary, and I think performance is better with the shorter trem placement. I also kind of like the plain jazzmaster style pickguard. If I wanted a chromed out Jaguar I'd either get the Squier Classic Vibe, or the Squier Contemporary Jaguar. In fact I did get the Contemporary. I'll probably add the Player II as well, but I'd want those knobs updated to push/pull functionality. Oddly enough the main selling point of the Player II are the pickups. From all accounts they're some of the best Jaguar pickups ever produced, simply in general, and that's exciting. As for the Affinity... Eh. The pickups are wrong. The metallic brown is great. I think they should have expanded upon the Affinity Jazzmaster instead. That was an awesome guitar that was held back by it's terrible finish selection. If they ever made one in a color I liked I would have grabbed the Affinity Jazzmaster. It had proper Jazz pickups and a strat trem, which is awesome. I'm worried about the offset trem on an Affinity model not working well. It's so weird they discontinued the Affinity JM in favor of this odd Jaguar. Why can't we have both? I was waiting for better finishes!

I think thanks to the internet and especially you tube these kids today are getting lower cost guitars and upgrading them watching you tube. Today you can buy any guitar part you want from the internet, in the 80s when I was a kid that was hard to do. Even some of the popular groups today are anti Gibson and Fender, I guess as some sort of a statement.

My player 2 jazzmaster feels incredible in my hands and sounds So fucking good , A little sharp but nothing the tone knob can’t manage , Might make a video soon if I can put this thing down but haven’t been able to stop playing it since I got it , Do note , I tried a CV jazzmaster at guitar center , it felt and sounded more airy, I am bummed about the placement of the term but man after hearing how good the guitar is I can’t bring myself to trade it in for the Squier this thing is just so beautiful in person

yeah im glad i just got my caparison dellinger, on demo, for $1200 off, from sweet water. by next year 2,000 guitars are gonna be 3,000. this is not good. 200 guitars, 400, and so forth. its like everything is almost doubling. but the quality stays the same.. or in a lot of cases.. is worse. and damn.. i live in michigan.. i wish i would have gone, yngwie was the guy that showed me 'you have absolutely no idea what you're doing on the guitar' and humbled me into becoming a better player and upping everything i was doing.

Finding I prefer 24 inch scale and wanted something other than the mustang I have to play and I had also concluded a used classic vibe for a couple dollars more is a no Brainer over the affinity

The holes in the side are for air circulation.

The Tremalone is a jig for locating the posts for a floyd.

Get a tremalone, look it up, and get a $125.00 Floyd without fine tuners. The very first Floyd Rose did not have fine tuners. They are now being reproduced.

headstocks broke in the case a lot of times. the factory cases allowed the tip to touch the bottom of the case, set it down a lil hard....there you go, broken headstock. typically they broke on the original glue line. easy to repair but ugly on the front unless you refin the headstocck

vintage focus are basically the same as "american" real floyd and such. look around, not too much more $ than a striker. focus have nice c shape, american d shape neck.

Literally just get a classic vibe jag. It’s like $150 more and is full vintage spec.

For the best protection from blowing a speaker, the speaker should be rated for at least twice the output wattage.
