This creation specifically uses oud from all over Thailand including multiple oud species like Aquilaria Sinensis, Aquilaria Crassna & Aquilaria Malaccensis.
Ouds used include:
Oud from Trang
Oud from Chanthaburi
Two types of Oud from Trat
Oud from Prachinburee
Oud from Srakaew
Oud from Chiangrai
Wild Oud from Souther Thailand
You’re becoming the go-to for oud knowledge Ram! 🙏
Happened organically lol
I can’t thank you enough for doing this Prin reviews especially (among with other artisanal houses) . As you said you’re like the only guy who is doing proper reviews on Prin & Prissana (and Wafts from the loft too)
Keep reviewing this Prins Ram, I’m sure you’re gonna love a lot of them if you sample more like Krissana
@@doobs_art8370 yes he is really hit or miss for me but if money was no issue I would certainly own a few
Thanks for the support 💪🐏
I am wearing my first Prin today. Saringkarn. Beautiful oudy rose. I know I am playing safe, but it is a lovely, well-balanced, and not challenging composition.
Haven't smelled that one yet! It's on the never ending to sniff list 🐽
Prin is definitely intriguing and sometimes interesting, it’s either a hit or a miss… atleast he’s not MEH !
Exactly! I enjoyed getting to know Krissana 💪🐏
Cheers Rams, nice to hear a success story from Prin ,god knows it’s high time lol 😝. That said like you say , I got a fair share of ouds and I think I would rather chase those tried and proven houses I feel are top quality and consistent in their releases. Great vid and have a smashing weekend brother 🤛💪👊
It's a long weekend here for Labor day... you have that across the pond Bren?
@@RamseytheRam no Rams not so lucky 🍀 here on a long weekend but you sir most definitely deserve a fabulous one 🤜💪👊
Well done on the pesky pronunciations, the bane of my existence.
I also liked the shotgun and trampoline analogies! 🐏🦆
That's prin... but the oud is good one ... or a good grouping of 8 in this case lol
🐏🦆
I love that you did a review on Krissana, if you remember I left a comment on your Mongolian Mriga video where I told you you should review it sometime
Actually Krissana was the first “artisanal” perfume that I have smelled and the perfume that grew the obsession for collecting ouds , artisanal perfumes , attars etc
For me Krissana is a oud heavy and floral combination…I wish I can get the musk you mentioned though but nope
Krissana is a pretty light perfume for Prin and imo the most unique from him…like he took a break from creating all that animalic based perfumes, btw I don’t get any animalics from this just maybe a slight hint now that you mentioned
I think Krissana is one of the best oud perfumes out there if you want something truly unique and complex, defetnelly one that y’all shouldn’t sleep on
I knew someone told me I would like it but I forgot who until now... and guess what! You were right... one of his best works imho... the mountain top of that Prin DNA... having multiple high quality oud oils will do that
Lovely review, Ram! Curious about the kaleidoscopic aspect you mentioned about Krissana - I get mostly beautiful, aged plum wine tinted with a beautiful oud bouquet.
How would you compare this to another multi-oud focused perfume (i.e., Synesthesia, Triad, etc)? Curious to have your opinion!
I have no clue how to Answer that lol
Thanks for watching & commenting 🍻
i love your videos Ramsey!
I don't know.... probably mogao , morah or this Krissana 🤔
@Ramsey, what your top 8 which you always smile when you spray it !
I am not sure...need to sleep on that
Thanks for watching & commenting 🍻
Hey @Ramsey,
I follow you.. I blind bought Areej Le Doré Russian Oud II & Ottoman Empire IV..
I liked the Ottoman Empire IV.. easy to ware.. but Russian Oud II & Ottoman Empire IV..
II is too complex & complicated
Stick with it...see how you feel in 3 to 6 months 🙂
@@RamseytheRam Ottoman Empire IV is true majestic.. Loved it !
Masterpiece.
@@RamseytheRam I’ll wait for Russian Oud II..
I’ve only like Homa (which you hated) & Mandodari from Prin….interesting for sure. I really hate how he uses spices in frags.
Have you tried Krissana yet? I bet with the journey you are on you would like this...but I agree his spice use is blah
@@RamseytheRamI have not tried it yet. Put a stop to it after most from the sampler set were failures. I’ll try & get a sample of this.
