Still Riding my OG Sherman
มุมมอง 7112 หลายเดือนก่อน
It’s been several months since I’ve ridden my EUC around town. After a recent life-changing event, one can only plan to ride when the moment and time are right.
EUC Road Hazard
มุมมอง 2734 หลายเดือนก่อน
While riding my EUC I encounter hazards that become the norm. You just become immune to them as part of your experience while riding our city roads. What were your close calls while riding?
Overcast EUC Ride
มุมมอง 1814 หลายเดือนก่อน
Many EUC riders will practice taking off from the seated position. This is usually the common starting point that will allow you to develop stronger memory muscles to balance yourself. This practice will gradually help you transition from standing to seated.
Veteran Sherman L
มุมมอง 1.2K6 หลายเดือนก่อน
This is exciting news, the Sherman L will come out soon, hopefully before the end of the summer. But these prices are making EUC enthusiasts like myself sometimes reconsider. Now, the price increase minus accessories adds to the cost inching closer to five thousand dollars. What do you think, let me know in the comments.
New Chapter

Sometimes we find ourselves following a trend that doesn’t add up to your exception but we follow it anyway. Sometimes we must go back to the basics to truly appreciate what we have been missing from the start, an original electric unicycle.
Change your life EUC

Which wheel do I get? A small and cheaper wheel you can learn in and later decide it’s not for you that won’t break the bank, or a large wheel that goes faster and further distance you can grow into for many years to come. It all depends on how you are going to use the wheel.
Nikola AR Tire change
มุมมอง 502ปีที่แล้ว
There is no problem having older wheels especially if they’re still in top notch for riding. Having older wheels or wanting to purchase an older non-suspension wheel, should not be a deterrent when trying to decide on what wheel to purchase next. EUC trends press on with speed, performance, suspension, and so on. If you follow EUC trends and purchase wheels by trends you will go broke. Just buy...
Freedom to Ride

It is great to have the freedom to ride our electric unicycles as long as we ride responsibly and respect the rules.
A Fading Memory Sherman OG
มุมมอง 415ปีที่แล้ว
Sometimes many of us need to remember what started the EUC riding community's next level of long-range wheels, The Leaperkim Original Sherman EUC. A very customizable, utilitarian wheel, a 20-inch nimble wheel, that many still ride today.
My riding average Cruising Speed
มุมมอง 501ปีที่แล้ว
I find my comfort riding speed no matter what wheel I ride is an average of approximately around 20 to 25 MPH. On occasions, I ride slightly faster to move away from traffic or to keep ups with traffic at certain times of the day but not for long periods of time.

Dress warm man colder days are coming 😂
How many miles on that OG Sherman now?
I had two. The first one I sold last summer had about 6,000 miles, and this one has about 1300 miles.
👍👍👍👍
Nice, what brand name and model is that unicycle?
The original Leapekim Sherman riding it for four years now.
I want to learn how to ride up to a curb on the street and hop over it without getting off my 16 X. Do I need to have Clark pads in order to do that?
Power pads make a huge difference when handling an EUC. But they are of no use if you can’t handle the wheel first. So first, get acclimated to the wheel you are riding, slowly building your EUC skills. This will then develop confidence, which creates muscle memory in your legs to handle the stress of riding an EUC. See, when you are first learning to ride the wheel it mostly tells you what to do, until you build up your skills, muscle memory, etc: and then you tell the wheel what you want it to do equals experience and confidence. You need to learn the EUC dance first to control a full or crash before developing the skill to even consider jumping a small jump.
Love the music with the ride of the OG wheels.
I subscribe to epidemic sound for music video content. Thanks.
Glad I came across your video. I'm 57 and this euc life will be new for me in the beginning of spring 2025. ~ Your New Subscriber 😊
Thank you. I'm 58 started riding EUC late 2019 at the beginning of Covid. Started with an Inmotion V10F and the V11 OG. Sold both of them early this summer. Still have the Nikola Plus and my favorite Sherman OG.
“Pick your wheel and be happy with it“. That’s just what I needed you to say. I am one month into my EUC journey and already I want to upgrade. 😮
I'm still riding my SHerman OG four years later. The wheels are getting too expensive, and the suspension requires more maintenance. It's always been my motto to enjoy what you can ride first until the time is right to upgrade. Today's EUCs are overpriced and one needs to figure out and consider how your to use the wheel, leisure/hobby, work, race etc...
I am a new EUC rider and a senior citizen guy getting ready to turn 63. I’ve had my King song 16× one month. Doing really well with it and now I already wanna upgrade!
Never too late to start a new hobby. Gear up, be safe, and enjoy.
@@coquirobinson3025 you’re right my friend. I have pretty much all the gear except for shoulder pads, but I should get those for Christmas. EUC has changed my life! Thanks for your awesome videos.
great that you are taking care of you mom 🙏, and yea Sherman is expensive 💯 but if you can get it
Beast of a wheel. Love this machine.
Clean OG Sherman. I was still rocking one until couple months ago. A true tank and dependable
I'm going to keep riding this wheel until the end of its time. lol.
@coquirobinson3025 yeah good man! They last thousands of miles and have huge battery so degradation isn't an issue. Just have to change tires once they are worn.
@@soupnazi81 Had a knobby tire which was worn and changed it to a street tire this summer. Handles a little differnet but I got use to it. Easier on turn.
@@coquirobinson3025 nice. I hear street tire doesn't feel like you're falling over like on knobby when turning?
@@soupnazi81 That is correct. It is easier to handle at high speeds when turning and steer when seated riding.
What camera ?

Life can get a bit rough at times. Stay Positive and keep moving forward my friend. Excellent ride Brother Coqui. Peace & Blessings! Thanks for sharing.
sick
I still have my nikola and still like it... portable..plays music...light weight..nimble great trolley handle.. cool looking rgb.
I'm currently enjoying it a little longer but finally decided to sell it to make room for a possible Sherman L. not 100 percent yet....
I love seated riding!! good vid!
Still can't ride seated, it feels so weird.
It takes practice, some more practice and then a little more practice then you will get it without realized you got it. lol/
Thank you. keep on enjoying your ride.
These are some great bits of information to consider while riding. I have encountered many of these same obstacles myself. Learning more every ride. Great video, thank you for sharing.
What is going on my brother? Riding standing work but every chance I get to ride seated I'll take it, even taking off seated.
Seated riding is the best way to enjoy your EUC once you have master it. But overall doing good thank you.
Coqui best seated Euc rider on TH-cam ❤❤❤and possibly the world ❤❤❤
What is up Coqui❤❤❤my brother ❤
I enjoy watching you ride seated❤❤❤
What is up brother ❤❤❤
let go man great vdéo you know we the veteran lovers getting the Sherman L
Thank you. Hopefully acquiring the Sherman L soon.
Great video Coqui! Thanks for showing around your neck of the woods. It is one of those areas need to have a head on the swivel and you put us in the situation room, and ask the " What if's" while riding an EUC. Hope you enjoy the rest of your summer and as we enter into fall, that you get some pleasant riding weather to come your way.
Thank you Wilson.
👍👍👍
Excellent tips Brother Coqui! Stay safe out there. Thanks for sharing!
Yes sir will do. Head on a swivel. lol
Thanks brother!!🙏
Yeah the Sherman L looks to be nice. I've been having annoying issues with my V13. I'm about 260lbs. I own other PEVs too. The meepo voyager x had battery issues: waiting on replacement. That skate rips to about 38mph. And bought an ebike too: Eahora Juliet 3. Trying to get into daily cycling too trying to get down to 200lbs by the end of December. Very nice trails to explore during the weekend So I don't have to put stress on the suspension on my EUC
All I've owned were EUC's. I hope the price will drop on the Sherman L just like when the V13 first came out. Initially, 4500, looked like they were not selling so the price dropped. We will see what the outcome is after reviews.
Yeah $4,000 is steep. Its not like we buy a new toy every 2 years and sell it for a third of its price. Is that Branch Brook Park at the end?
I amd due for a new wheel. and Yes that's Branch Brook park.
@@coquirobinson3025 my old hood. Im so sad to hear that you wont be selling the Nikola. Lol
Nikola is my sweet wheel. sorry not for sale lol
Whats Coqui. Sensei Vegan recommended your channel. Great videos dude, like he mentuoned. SUBSCRIBED!!!
The Sherman S and the Lynx are more than good enough for me. $4480 is a little steep. Once you add pads pedals and a seat like most riders do. The final cost will be almost $5000 USD. Awesome video! Thanks for sharing!
Did u sell Sherman yet how much
Hi no I have not sold the Sherman. I have not placed in any sell media yet. $1200.00 Was planning to advertised it this weekend.
@@coquirobinson3025 I think I want it
We taking an L after watching this. 😉👍
L on the wallet I meant.😅 lmao!
It could be a wheel for you
I'm hoping it holds true. This wheel is heavy but looking forward its arrival and what videos are forecast for the reviews.
@@coquirobinson3025 It looks pretty good, a combination between the Lynx and the Sherman S, You can't go wrong plus with a bigger battery. Both wheels are top sellers with very few complaints
I think it is worth it, they are getting you 50S batteries from eWheels for $4500. That is a decent price. I hear batteries are dropping way down in price though. I know we all would love to see the wheels also come down in price. The only thing I don’t like is it comes out in (at least) September.
This is the wheel for me, but as you said, the ETA for Leaperkim wheels is normally in the fall.
No EUC is worth $3,000, let along $4,500. Sorry the value of the Sherman L does not equal the price of the wheel. The specs of these New wheels are more or less the same as ones already out. It is simply greed
I like your "respect EUC limits" philosophy !! I wish more riders would follow it!! love your vids! 👍👍👍
Hello and thank you. If I learn one thing after four years of riding it is to learn all about the EUC you’re riding, They may all look similar but their operation differs from the smallest to the largest EUC.
Excellent viewpoints Brother Coqui. Thanks for sharing!
You are welcome and Thank you for watching,
He’s back 🫡🫡🫡
EUCvibes thank you for stopping by. Thanks for watching my videos.
Yes, there’s a glut of ‘new-unused’ wheels on the market, simply because they are being promoted by the algorithmic brainwashing of YT and commissioned sales. Big wheels are killing the potential growth of the market, when they’re targeted to inexperienced buyers. The problem is much more complicated than it appears but it’s basically due to an uneducated marketing strategy that biases cheap advertising tactics (like Social Media) in order to target under-informed buyers. The damage done will harm sales for many years to come, and there’s ZERO indications that the 4 major manufacturers have any plans to change. THIS foolishness is why i exclusively only buy used wheels, which supports the community rather than encouraging the short-term mentality of the suppliers. I’d it were up to me, I’d completely change the business model to avoid damaging my brand but, as i said, it complimented so I don’t hold out much hope that they’ll figure it out before all of these companies get bought out by larger players. Inmotion has already suffered from having accepted Venture Capital funds, and their CEO got fired as a result.
They don’t really make slow wheels with bigger batteries. I guess those big boys really need the power to slow them down and climb hills, I would think that would be something that could be looked into from a design perspective, something like what iNMotion did with the V13, and possibly the V14. Seems intriguing. Not everyone wants to ride in vehicle traffic. Plus it might limit the damage it could do to you from one of the Tasmanian devil spin outs like I just had with mine today when I went to step off it with my off foot and misjudged its speed. Twisted ankle is all thankfully, I think.
I believe this generation of wheels is catering to a trend of riders that beg for speed eventually increasing the number of accidents if they don’t learn the basics of an EUC operation. Mishaps will occur, but which one will teach you the lesson to respect the EUC?
@@coquirobinson3025absolutely! I think some people may never learn that. I look up to you all who have been riding for a while, who have learned on the wheels as they succeed each other. I started big, but am working backwards currently learning a regular unicycle. I am learning as much about myself as I am learning about the wheels. I believe that.
Three years for me, still loving it❤
I have the original veteran Sherman and it’s very fast. 58 mph and always ride with with all the gear
Hey man, really appreciate the video! How do you like that new tire, any chance for a short review? I'm wondering how it compares to the original. I have an AR Nikola + too and it's getting to be about time for me to change out the stock tire so I'm looking around for options...
I may review the tire soon. For now, the new tire is night and day what a difference it makes especially when cornering around turns, it doesn't feel like the wheel is sinking or going to lose it, straight and narrow it rides.
@@coquirobinson3025 Cool, good to know!
Super chill video! Great stuff man
Thank you.
Am curious you mentioned falling once.Did you mean you only had one fall in like 6 years? Am just curious how many people have had that kind of experience? The perception from what I see on videos is that most people have multiple crash’s along the way. Am 60 and wondering if I stay within myself. Like setting the beeps at 40 on a 50+ mph wheel. And generally ride around 30mph. I will always ride geared up just in case but wonder if there are a lot of just everyday riders that are not pushing their wheels and are not likely to get in a wreck , cutout, etc
I’ve only fallen off once. But most of the EUC accidents are self-induced by either being reckless and overpowering your wheel to cut out or a natural mishap such as my slipping on a patch of oil spill on the ground. My normal cruising speed is at about 20- 30 MPH. I fell off coming around a corner on a local street and did not notice what seemed to be oil on the ground but was at the point of no return while leaning on the turn, at about 20 MPH. I slipped and slid and fell on my right side injuring my right ankle and arms fully geared mind you, just like sliding to home base, It happened so fast, I immediately got up and rode home, but it was a big mistake. I overlooked my injuries and started to feel the pain until I removed all my gear. Road rash on my right arm but my right ankle and calf were the worth. I was out of commission for three months. But now at 57, I’m still riding strong but noticeably at slower speeds.
@@coquirobinson3025 thanks for detailing the crash you had. I’ve only had some minor little crashes in the one month that I have been EUC Rider with my King song 16 X. Fully geared up, of course.
Once when my car needed a new engine I bought an EUC instead. Haven't looked back lol
