Israel’s Gathering And The Scattering Prophecies 1
Israel's Gathering and Scattering Prophecies. This lesson begins with Abraham and takes us through a timeline of how God gathered His people to Himself first and then led them to the promised land - when they were obedient to Him. To understand this concept better, we will explore the Old Testament events related to gathering and scattering. Throughout these narratives, we see a loving God who cares for His people and offers them multiple opportunities to return to Him so that all the promises and blessings He has given them can be fulfilled. The blessing was not only for Israel, the blessing was for all families of the earth. This is part one of a three-part series on this topic.

Isaiah 27 The Defeat Of Leviathan
มุมมอง 1614 วันที่ผ่านมา
Psalm 74:10-14: In these verses, an exotic animal named Leviathan is mentioned. Now Leviathan is described interestingly, and the SOP tells us that Leviathan was a real creature in the Garden of Eden according to Patriarchs and Prophets page 51, but like the serpent, it became a symbol of evil after sin entered the world. Who, then, is Leviathan? All that and more is revealed in this study
Reflections of Isaiah 25 and 26
มุมมอง 3221 วันที่ผ่านมา
Are Isaiah chapters 24, 25, and 26 just history? Or is God revealing to us through His Old Testament prophet things that will take place in the future? These chapters in Isaiah open a window where we can look into the future and see that the prophecies that God intended to fulfill with literal Israel will finally be fulfilled with the faithful remnant in God's Church:

The pen of inspiration tells us that 'all the books of the Bible meet and end in the Book of Revelation', so to understand Revelation, we must understand the whole Bible. Isaiah chapters 24-27 are often called the "little apocalypse." In these chapters, Isaiah describes the second coming of Christ but uses terminology different from what we typically see in the book of Revelation. Isaiah 24 out...

Habakkuk chapter 3 directly describes the second coming of Jesus in power and glory. In conclusion, Habakkuk emphasizes the kind of faith needed to endure the great day of testing (3:19). The strength of the righteous will come from God, as they rely not on their own efforts but on His providential protection.

Continuing our study of the Book of Habakkuk, particularly chapter 2, from verse 6, it discusses how Babylon will destroy Jerusalem. In this context, the apostate individuals in Jerusalem will face retribution from those who supported Babylon. Habakkuk 2:6-8 reveals that after Babylon has plundered apostate Jerusalem, those who once supported Babylon will turn against her. This passage bears ma...

The book of Habakkuk is one of the minor prophetic books that discuss the second coming of Christ. It presents a dialogue between the prophet Habakkuk and God. The book starts with Habakkuk pleading with God, asking, "How long will You overlook the wickedness in Judah? How long will the wicked oppress the righteous?" God replies, reassuring Habakkuk that He will take action. He promises to puni...
Babylon’s Infuriating Wine Part 2
มุมมอง 42 หลายเดือนก่อน
The fall of Babylon is due to her making all nations drink the wine of the wrath of her fornication. In this lesson, we identify her wine as abominations and, from the Bible, understand what those abominations are and what will lead to her fall. The study clearly shows how Babylon's intoxicating wine essentially intoxicates the whole world, making it practically impossible for the world to acce...

When the church becomes allied with the political powers, it loses the reason for its existence. In the second Angel's message there is a repetition that Babylon is fallen, is fallen. The repetition of the expression, ‘is fallen,’ means that she is really fallen and is beyond hope. Isn't this a phenomenal picture that explains what will happen at the end? History repeats itself-why does history...
Sighing and Crying in Jerusalem

The backdrop of Revelation 7:1-4 is found in Ezekiel 8, 9. In order to understand the Revelation antitype, we must first understand the Ezekiel type. Ezekiel 9 describes the type that was fulfilled with literal Jews in literal Jerusalem. However, the book of Revelation, describes the antitype that will be fulfilled with spiritual Jews in global Jerusalem. The Ezekiel type describes God’s own pr...

The Certainty Of God’s Promises

We need to understand that time in the sight of God is different than our concept of time. For us time-bound creatures, what has been done and what will be done are two different things. What has been done is past, and what is yet to be done is future. However, God is not time-bound as we are. That which for us is potential and future for God is actual and present! For God, potentiality is actu...

Part 2 of the study on the nature of Bible prophecy and God's understanding of time and ours. It includes examples of individuals who chose to be led by God even though they couldn't see the end from the beginning, as well as those who chose not to, and the lessons we can learn from their experiences." God never leads His children otherwise than they would choose to be led if they could see the...

While some believe that being the Creator distinguishes the true God, but there is a particular characteristic that genuinely sets the true God apart from all false gods - God's foreknowledge.

As you know Sunday "blue laws" have been around for centuries. The trend over the past four decades has been to repeal those blue laws. Any attempt today at introducing such a bill in the U.S. Congress for a national law would be laughed at. The National Sunday law, as Adventists imagine it, would be blatantly unconstitutional under the Establishment Clause. Even if such a bill passed Congress, it would be immediately stayed by the courts and struck down soon thereafter. Also, as you are probably aware, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Gerald Groff in June of last year. He is an evangelical Christian postal worker, who refused to work on Sundays after working for many years with the postal service which previously gave employees the day off on Sundays. The USPS then started picking up business from Amazon where they suddenly had to deliver every single day. Gerald Groff worked in a remote rural area where he was the only postal deliverer. He had signed up with the understanding that he had Sundays off from work. He sued because the U.S. Postal Service would not accommodate for his religious reasons religious belief. The fact that the Supreme court ruled in his favor also has positive ramifications for Seventh-day Adventists. So in reality, your fear of being persecuted over the Sabbath and employment just got a whole lot better, not worse. The Sunday law is simply a myth, and the Blair Bill was soundly defeated 136 years ago! It is not coming back. I welcome your thoughts.
