Saw this in use at the Seattle airport yesterday. Like millions of others worldwide, longer walks to distant gates are a real challenge, while I wait for total knee replacement. The wheelchair service at many airports can result in lengthy waits. Often the wheelchairs provided are too flimsy or the employee pushing the chair is too undersized to move a larger passenger with carryon luggage. Traditional service is expensive for the passenger too, as you will feel obligated to tip generously after the chair pusher struggled to move you out to the gate or to the airport exit. I'm sure many passengers with mobility limitations will love the Whill autonomous chair service.

Just received our Whill C2 with side arm bag. The bag no longer looks like this video. There is no sleeve and only one strap to use to attach it. My husband needs it for his left hand and it's made for the right hand. Installation was not easy trying to get the 2 inch wide velcro strip thru the slots. I get manufacturing is trying to save a few pennies on each bag by eliminating options as featured in this video, but if this is the case offer it in right and left hand sided versions like the joy stick. I'm able bodied so was eventually able to get it on. I can't image someone with only one functioning arm would be able to accomplish the installation by themselves.

Is there a a video about attaching the seat lap belt?

It would be good if the chair stayed connected to Bluetooth for more than 30 seconds but this is pretty useless cos it just disconnects every time and then takes 10-20 mins to connect again

Beware we purchased a brand new one in Australia cost us $8500 fantastic chair but the battery has a 6 month warranty and ours died on the 7 month. To buy a new battery will now have to pay $1500 for a new one we have waited for 5 weeks we contacted them today and told new battery won’t be in Australia till the end of November. We got the whill c2 chair and can’t use it. We have been dealing with aidacare NSW Australia the good thing when you ring them you get to talk to everyone there because you just seem to get transferred around the place.

I wish major airports around the world have Whill powered chairs to rent. That way I can rent one and use for my entire stay in that country and return it at the gate or something. Touristy areas should have rental shops too, that way I can rent one just for that touristy place

Can you make the back rest higher on the back? I'd like a higher hight than you currently make. Thats the only thing holding me back is the seat height of the back rest. Due to needing more support for spinal issues of t7- L1 fusion.

As a disabled person, one thing that really annoys me is that all the different aids and devices are demonstrated by fit, often quite young and totally able bodied people. I’ve had my mobility scooter serviced and returned with certain parts unnecessarily over tightened and they’ve had to readjust them for my weaker grip.
